Starting Research and Experimentation with Natural Energy Usage

After dealing with Sasuke's matters and receiving another 300 million in funding, Neji felt his wallet, which had just deflated, swell up again. His mood improved slightly!

Through various channels, Neji procured a batch of experimental equipment and officially began researching the uses of "Natural Energy."

Box 2 had a Natural Energy concentration twice that of the Ninja World's air, and so on, up to Box 50, which had a Natural Energy concentration 50 times that of the Ninja World's air.

Group Two: Fifty sealed boxes. Each box contained ten mice and was numbered from 51 to 100. The ten mice in Box 51 were injected with a diluted solution containing no Natural Energy. The ten mice in Box 52 were injected with a 1x standard unit concentration of Natural Energy diluted solution, and so on, up to Box 100, where the ten mice were injected with a 49x standard unit concentration of Natural Energy diluted solution.

All other conditions were kept the same. The growth of the mice in each box was observed and recorded three times a day.

This type of experimental data collection would require at least two months to complete one phase. Further experimental design and implementation would commence after the results were obtained.

To speed up the experiment, Neji created three additional experimental spaces in the underground laboratory. Using the same method, he placed young monkeys, piglets, and wolf pups in the sealed boxes within these three laboratories. Due to the larger size of monkeys, pigs, and wolves, the number of young animals was appropriately reduced, and the volume of the sealed boxes was expanded to ensure a relatively comfortable living space.

During this period, Neji also visited the Summoning Realm and brought back two young Thunder Rocs. One was periodically placed in an environment with extremely high Natural Energy concentration, while the other was periodically injected with a high-concentration Natural Energy diluted solution. He observed the growth of both Thunder Rocs.

Thunder Rocs have excellent physiques to begin with, and living in an environment with three to four times the normal Natural Energy concentration for an extended period should make them more adaptable to Natural Energy than ordinary experimental subjects.

Thus, Neji arranged for two Shadow Clones to begin the long and tedious experimental work.

His main body, meanwhile, continued his crazy self-improvement with Sasuke.

Learning from the commotion caused by their last sparring session and with another large sum of funding injected, Neji generously spent thirty million ryo on a mansion occupying nearly six mu on the outskirts of Konohagakure.

Only one mouse, injected with a 5x concentration, stubbornly survived, but its body became deformed.

It could be said that the mortality rate from direct injection of Natural Energy diluted solution was incredibly high. The low-concentration diluted solution, however, had little effect and was practically useless.

As for the mice in experimental boxes 52 and 53, although not all died, a portion did. The pattern was that the higher the injected concentration, the higher the mortality rate. Only box 51, which was injected with a diluted solution without Natural Energy, remained unharmed.

The surviving mice were slightly stronger than ordinary mice, but the difference was not very significant.

Monkeys, pigs, and wolves could tolerate higher concentrations of injected Natural Energy than mice: monkeys could withstand 5x, pigs 7x, and wolves 10x.

2. The experiment of increasing the Natural Energy concentration in the air proved much safer than injection. Out of 50 experimental groups, only those in boxes with concentrations above 41x experienced deaths. Even at the highest concentration of 50x, not all subjects died; two survived and were very robust, appearing to have adapted to the high Natural Energy environment.

On the other hand, not a single monkey, pig, or wolf died. They were all healthy, and the higher the concentration, the faster they grew.

Experimental subjects that were injected with Natural Energy diluted solution or had survived in a high Natural Energy environment for a long time showed improvements in all their bodily functions.

The most noticeable effects were slightly increased size, greater robustness, enhanced recovery abilities, better stamina, and increased strength, among other beneficial states. They were comprehensively strengthened.

Seeing the experimental data summary report, Neji became even more delighted, thinking, "This has potential!"

Even more exciting was Neji's speculation that this so-called "Natural Energy" was likely the "Spiritual Energy" described in the fantasy novels of his past life!
