Background / History

Di Tian was the foremost Beast God of the Star Dou Great Forest and a long-serving subordinate of the Silver Dragon King. As the Lake of Life and forest vitality declined, he prepared to leave the forest after more than one hundred thousand years there. In human form, he appeared as a stern black-robed man and reflected on the end of an era for the Soul Beast race 1.

Lin Chen first contacted him remotely through a handmade mechanical snake placed in the forest’s core region. Though Di Tian initially responded with hostility, Lin Chen’s proposal—using Transcendent Reproduction to create powerful Soul Beast descendants and possibly a new Dragon Clan—caught his attention. Di Tian determined that Lin Chen had not lied and brought him directly to the forest core to meet the other ferocious beasts 1 3.

The possibility of restoring the Soul Beast race eventually outweighed Di Tian’s loyalty to the Silver Dragon King. He agreed to help create a concealed pocket world, planning to secretly support Lin Chen while outwardly remaining loyal to his former master 6. He later initiated and signed an equal contract with Lin Chen, gaining a transformed body and becoming able to reside in Lin Chen’s contract space 10 11 12.

Di Tian possesses several distinct forms, ranging from a composed human disguise to an immense dragon body.

Personality

Di Tian is fiercely devoted to the Dragon Clan and the Soul Beast race. His willingness to secretly disobey Gu Yue stems from his belief that remaining passive would never restore either race. He is prepared to take extreme measures, including openly waging war on the Spirit Pagoda and sacrificing immense resources to revive Wang Qiuer 6 47 80 82.

Despite his status and overwhelming strength, he is impulsive and emotionally transparent. He causes large-scale trouble in the Spirit Ascension Platform while pursuing resources for Wang Qiuer’s revival, acts on ambitious breeding schemes with little patience, and is easily provoked when Bear Lord challenges his authority 77 79 163 165.

His loyalty has limits. The remains of the Dragon Kings are sacred to him; he refuses to desecrate them even when Lin Chen proposes refining them into power for their faction. Their loss leaves him grief-stricken and enraged 212 226.
