Ch. 504The Aftermath of the Bloody Battle

Gelman and his allies defeated the four Greater Species leading the Flesh Monsters and began treating the wounded and clearing the Ancient Labyrinth. Dong explained that the God of Flesh was consuming the eastern shore, then revealed he knew how to weaken it and asked Gelman to join him on a dangerous journey to the western shore.

  • Dong killed the grievously wounded Old Witch while Gelman destroyed the Prophet of Lies and its summoned stone pillars.
  • With the four Greater Species dead, the Flesh Monsters were slaughtered, and Ging and Biscuit arrived with the exploration team to help clear the battlefield and treat the wounded.
  • Shutaner asked Gelman about the Flesh Monsters, and Gelman promised to explain once the situation had settled.
  • Ging explained that he and Dong had delayed their arrival to ensure the exploration team reached the Ancient Labyrinth safely.
  • Dong told Gelman and Ging that the God of Flesh was consuming the eastern shore and that the Flesh Monsters would soon overrun it.
  • Dong revealed that he knew how to weaken the God of Flesh and asked Gelman whether he would join him on a journey to the western shore.

Ch. 505Racing by Carriage to the Western Shore of Lake Möbius

Gelman, Dong, and Ging left the Ancient Labyrinth Castle by carriage to carry out missions against the God of Flesh on the western shore of Lake Möbius. Dong explained how kings used rituals to become God's Apostles and how overlapping rituals could nourish a demigod.

  • Gelman and Ging joined Dong on the dangerous journey, while Biscuit stayed behind to defend the Ancient Labyrinth Castle.
  • Gelman revealed the truth about the Great Chaos and the God of Flesh to Shutaner and the Hunter Association's core members before departing.
  • The three travelers set out to draw Greater Species monsters away from the eastern shore, destroy the Ritual Stone Arrays, and possibly kill the demigod.
  • Dong explained that kings used rituals to gain power and that multiple God's Apostle rituals could nourish a demigod.

Ch. 506Arrival at One-Third of the Way

Gelman and Ging traveled toward the first Ritual Stone Array while Dong separated from them to manage the Flesh Curse and clear a path ahead. At dawn, Gelman and Ging reached an area packed with powerful Flesh Monsters, where an unseen attack cut their carriage in half.

  • Dong explained that weakening the God of Flesh required disrupting the Ritual Stone Arrays and gave Gelman and Ging a mental map of all three sites.
  • Dong rode ahead alone on a Night Raid Species steed, intending to clear enemies and avoid attacking Gelman and Ging during a period of lost sanity.
  • Ging rested while Gelman drove the carriage through Flesh Monsters toward the first destination.
  • After more than ten hours, Gelman and Ging sensed a powerful murderous presence near the first Ritual Stone Array and leaped from the carriage.
  • The carriage raced onward as bait, but an unseen attacker sliced it in two.

Ch. 507The First God's Apostle

Gelman and Ging fought through an encirclement of Flesh Monsters while Gelman flew off to confront the God's Apostle Collector. Gelman countered the Collector’s summoned monsters and psychic attack, leaving the giant Apostle afraid as Gelman drew a deadly scythe.

  • The Pigman God and Formless Flesh surrounded Gelman and Ging with other Flesh Monsters, while Dong was nowhere to be found.
  • Gelman summoned the Painful Bloodlust Apostle's Remnant and Old Witch's Remnant to fight the Formless Flesh and Pigman God, and Ging agreed to hold off the remaining monsters.
  • Gelman flew toward the God's Apostle and found the Collector amid enormous mounds of corpses.
  • The Collector formed three Greater Species from skulls and flesh, but Gelman summoned three matching Remnants to battle them.
  • The Collector unleashed a piercing psychic cry, but Gelman's silver halo blunted it, and the Collector felt fear when Gelman drew a scythe.

Ch. 508Means Completely Countering Every One of Its Abilities

Gelman countered the Collector’s devastating gale and psychic attack, then dismantled it with his speed and the Scythe of Funeral. He killed the Collector, and a Ritual Stone Array appeared where its body fell.

  • Gelman activated the Deep Sea Badge and turned the Collector’s gale back on it, forcing it to abandon the attack.
  • Gelman checked the Hunter Badge and Gu Yuan Badge, learning that Ging had killed Formless Flesh and the Pigman God after the remnants wounded them.
  • The Collector repeated its psychic shockwave, which Gelman dispelled with the silver light above his head.
  • Gelman raced around the Collector and cut apart its robe, bones, limbs, and skull until it collapsed.
  • Gelman finished the Collector with a Slash Wave, and a Ritual Stone Array appeared at the site of its death.

Ch. 509Asleep, Yet Existing and Not Existing

After defeating the first God's Apostle, Gelman destroyed the Collector's Ritual Stone Array and continued toward the next one with Ging, while Dong remained missing. During the journey, Gelman fell asleep and entered a state that made him seem both present and absent, unsettling Ging.

  • Gelman gained the Collector's Skull, activated the Collector's Ritual Stone Array, then destroyed it and set up a Teleport Lantern at the ruins.
  • Ging arrived and Gelman told him how he had defeated the first God's Apostle; Ging said the wave from the destroyed array had driven away Flesh Monsters attacking him.
  • Gelman and Ging waited for Dong until the mist cleared, but he did not appear, so Ging left clues for him and they set off toward the next Ritual Stone Array.
  • Gelman checked the other Teleportation Points from the carriage, then fell asleep despite no longer needing sleep.
  • Ging sensed that Gelman seemed to exist and not exist at once, left the carriage compartment, and rode up front without looking back.

Ch. 510Two-Thirds of the Destinations in the Tower

Gelman described a strange soul-wandering state tied to the Lanterns as he and Ging traveled toward the next Ritual Stone Array. They reached a tower, where rising floodwater, a singing pirate crew, and a circling underwater creature threatened them.

  • Gelman told Ging that his soul had wandered around Lantern-lit locations, where he had seen Shizuku, Netero, and Biscuit, but could not touch them.
  • Gelman and Ging traveled through March and fought their way toward the mountain range while discussing East's week-long silence and his Flesh Curse.
  • Gelman and Ging abandoned their carriage when Flesh Monsters pushed it off a cliff, then continued fighting on foot.
  • Gelman and Ging reached the tower, entered its lower level, and found that the Flesh Monsters would not follow them inside.
  • Water flooded the tower as a battered ship carrying four blue-glowing pirates entered, while a huge creature circled Gelman and Ging beneath the surface.

Ch. 511The Tower Space Swarmed with Writhing Things

Gelman and Ging fought the Drowned Crewman, Enchanted Siren, and water ghosts in the tower’s flooded lowest level until the Grotesque Limper emerged and turned the battle against them. Gelman discovered the tower had been transported into an isolated space and prepared to face the powerful Apostle of God.

  • Ging attacked the Drowned Crewman while Gelman froze the lake with the Deep Sea Badge, immobilizing the ship, the Enchanted Siren, and the water ghosts.
  • Ging destroyed the pirate ship and killed two Drowned Crewmen, but the tower ceiling collapsed and the Grotesque Limper emerged from its red spherical dwelling.
  • The Grotesque Limper shook the tower and melted the ice, allowing the Drowned Crewman, Enchanted Siren, and water ghosts to attack Ging together.
  • Gelman summoned the Jealous Red Serpent and Black Serpent of Slander with the Gu Yuan Badge, and they attacked the monsters in the lake.
  • Gelman cut through the tower wall with the Scythe of Funeral but found a dark-purple barrier outside, realizing the Grotesque Limper had trapped them in an isolated space.
  • Gelman dodged the Grotesque Limper’s tentacles and prepared to confront it.

Ch. 512Eating and Being Eaten Are Both Choices

Gelman fought the Grotesque Limper inside the collapsing purple world, using the Collector's Skull to stop its charge before attacking it from within. After the creature died and the strange world vanished, a huge Ritual Stone Array appeared where it had fallen.

  • Gelman cut through the Grotesque Limper's tentacles, then used the Collector's Skull to swallow and deflect its charge before the creature broke free.
  • The Grotesque Limper released a swarm of barnacle-like monsters, and Gelman trapped them in lightning before forcing his way into its mouth.
  • Gelman wounded the Grotesque Limper from inside its body as Ging surfaced and watched the creature begin to fall.
  • Ging propelled himself clear as the Grotesque Limper crashed down, and the purple world collapsed into reality.
  • The Grotesque Limper turned to dust, Gelman emerged from its remains, and a huge Ritual Stone Array appeared beneath it.

Ch. 513A Quiet Corner, a Not-So-Quiet World

After destroying the second Ritual Stone Array, Gelman and Ging traveled toward the last one while considering what Don’s absence might mean. Meanwhile, Leol explained that the strange Torment and Virtue states sweeping Greed Island came from Gelman’s spreading influence, then used a ring to contact the group in the New Continent.

  • Gelman left a Teleport Lantern beside the shattered array, lighting his thirteenth Teleportation Point, and he and Ging set out toward the final Ritual Stone Array.
  • Ging raised the possibility that Don might not appear, and Gelman agreed they would have to act if their suspicions proved true.
  • Zetsu questioned Leol about the rising number of Torment and Virtue incidents affecting Greed Island’s staff and players.
  • Leol identified the states as effects of Gelman’s influence spreading from a Teleport Lantern and withheld the full explanation from Zetsu.
  • Leol used his ring and the system updated by Ikshampé and Doon to contact the group in the New Continent.

Ch. 514The Far-Reaching Entanglement That Resembles Resonance

Chairman Netero learned that General Mike faced trial on the Six Continents and reviewed reports of people entering Torment and Virtue states. At the Ancient Labyrinth Castle, Shutaner gained the foundation to use Nen, while Biscuit and Morel worried about Gelman, Ging, and Don and hoped they were close to succeeding.

  • Micenei Strome told Chairman Netero that V6 would put General Mike on trial after the New Continent United Army's defeat.
  • Chairman Netero checked Shizuku's prenatal report and read Leol's report about Torment and Virtue cases on Greed Island.
  • Biscuit learned that Shutaner had entered the Virtue state and gained the foundation to become a Nen user.
  • Morel agreed to teach Shutaner Nen as he helped defend and manage the Ancient Labyrinth Castle.
  • Biscuit and Morel discussed their concern for Gelman, Ging, and Don, and Morel urged Biscuit to believe Gelman could fight the gods.

Ch. 515New World Journey: West Coast Edition

Ging and Gelman found Don Freecss’s book and read his final message, which revealed that he had returned to the West Coast to confront the monster inside him. They entered the chamber and found Don’s human skeleton among the Flesh Monsters he had killed, with his hand pointing toward the final Ritual Stone Array.

  • Ging and Gelman noticed that the Flesh Monsters were growing weaker even as the land became more thoroughly fleshified.
  • Gelman retrieved a book titled New World Journey: West Coast Edition from a torrent of blood, and he and Ging recognized it as Don Freecss’s work.
  • Gelman and Ging read Don’s final message, in which he explained that the Flesh Curse had brought back forgotten memories and that he had chosen to confront the monster within him.
  • Don asked Gelman and Ging to destroy the last Ritual Stone Array and told them to finish him if he had failed.
  • Gelman and Ging entered the chamber and found Don’s skeleton among the slain Flesh Monsters, pointing toward the Ritual Stone Array.

Ch. 516Demigod Descends, Flesh and Blood Fly

After burying Don and destroying the final Ritual Stone Array, Gelman and Ging were surrounded by Flesh Monsters and advanced toward the God of Flesh. Gelman reached the demigod, which questioned him about the other gods’ Apostles before preparing to attack.

  • Gelman and Ging buried Don, then Gelman destroyed the third Ritual Stone Array and planted a Lantern at the site.
  • Gelman and Ging emerged into the crimson world and found Flesh Monsters closing in from every direction.
  • A meteor struck among the monsters, and Gelman used the Gu Yuan Badge to send seven Greater Species remains toward the suspected God of Flesh.
  • Gelman and Ging fought their way forward behind the remains, losing the Remains of the Drowned Crew Member, the Remains of the Sixteen Pound Cannon, and the Remains of the Formless Flesh.
  • The God of Flesh addressed Gelman, wondered which god’s Apostle he was, and approached with a spear formed from its right hand.

Ch. 517Dancing with the God of Flesh

Gelman fought the Flesh, which transformed into increasingly larger and more powerful forms. The Flesh tracked Gelman through his dark mist and attacked him with a crushing axe strike.

  • The Flesh trapped Gelman with its tongue and spear, but Gelman escaped by piercing its mouthparts with the Spiral Cane.
  • The Flesh transformed into a Medium Species and attacked with a giant cleaver, forcing Gelman to defend himself with the Sacred Moonlight Greatsword.
  • Gelman disrupted the Flesh’s attack with an azure wave and launched a Slash Wave, which the Flesh blocked as it spoke about its past conflict with the God of Enmity.
  • The Flesh transformed into a Greater Species, struck Gelman with its tail and horn beam, and pierced his shoulder.
  • Gelman used the Ring of Darkness and Ring of Lightning to retreat, but the Flesh tracked him through the mist and brought its double-headed axe down on him.

Ch. 518Dancing on the Knife's Edge at His Own Pace

Gelman slowed his pace and used several strange abilities to wound and disrupt Flesh, but Flesh survived its own enormous explosion and began drawing power from the surrounding Flesh Monsters. Gelman teleported Ging away from the battlefield, leaving Flesh’s transformation underway.

  • Gelman calmed himself instead of rushing back into battle, then used Grotesque Limper's Crawl to poison and wound Flesh.
  • Gelman baited Flesh into destroying the cabinet summoned by Collector's Skull, then used another tentacle attack to sever one of its horns and destabilize its charged orb.
  • Flesh's orb exploded, blasting Gelman, Ging, and the surrounding creatures across the battlefield.
  • Flesh declared that it understood the plan to use it as a sacrifice for Gelman's ascension and transformed as nearby Flesh Monsters fed it their flesh and negative emotions.
  • Gelman used three Teleport Lanterns to take Ging away from the battlefield, where a familiar voice greeted them.

Ch. 519I Can't Gamble, Because We May Only Have One Chance

Gelman returned to the battlefield despite his injuries, convinced this was humanity’s only chance to defeat the God of Flesh and open a path toward the future. He faced the God of Flesh again as its tentacles attacked from the blood-red sky.

  • Biscuit treated Ging’s injuries and tried to stop Gelman from returning, but Gelman insisted he had to seize their chance to defeat the God of Flesh.
  • Ging asked whether Gelman was confident, and Gelman answered yes; Ging revealed a silver halo and promised they would wait for his return.
  • Biscuit reminded Gelman that Shizuku, their baby, and everyone else were waiting for him, and Gelman teleported back to the battlefield.
  • The God of Flesh destroyed Gelman’s remaining body and accused him and Don Freecss of killing its apostles and destroying its Ritual Stone Arrays.
  • The God of Flesh declared that Gelman should be afraid as more than a dozen tentacles struck toward him from every direction.

Ch. 520Ascension and Carnage in the Blood-Red Clouds

Gelman battled Flesh in the blood-red clouds, using the Deep Sea Badge and his charged Sacred Moonlight Greatsword to destroy its enormous mass of parasitic flesh. Flesh emerged in a grotesque new form and froze Gelman in midair, causing flesh and blood vessels to erupt across his body.

  • Gelman dodged Flesh's tentacles and blasts, then flew past a grotesque rat head and entered the blood-red clouds.
  • Gelman used the Deep Sea Badge to summon a tornado that tore through the blood vessels and fleshy creatures in the clouds.
  • Flesh accused the power of the Deep Sea of interfering with its evolution, then attacked Gelman with arrows of blood mist.
  • Gelman charged the Sacred Moonlight Greatsword and struck Flesh's mass with a powerful crescent Slash Wave, which three skulls swallowed before it exploded inside them.
  • Flesh's mass burst apart, and Flesh appeared in a distorted Demi-human form and froze Gelman, making flesh and blood vessels erupt across his body.

Ch. 521Slaying with the Might of a Demigod

Gelman overcame Flesh’s curse and fought the God of Flesh, using the Scythe of Funeral and the Gu Yuan Badge to exploit the wound in his soul. He destroyed Flesh completely, while Silver Wings and Dark Crown marks appeared on creatures across the world.

  • Gelman recovered under the full moon and charged at Flesh, fighting through repeated fatal wounds with the Scythe of Funeral.
  • Flesh tried to reach the battlefield below to replenish his body, while beams from twenty-five Teleportation Points marked former users of Virtue and Torment with Silver Wings and Dark Crown.
  • Silver and dark light surged around Gelman, allowing him to perceive people across the world, and he pursued Flesh as the demigod dove toward the ground.
  • Gelman struck Flesh with the Gu Yuan Badge, reopening the wound in his soul and weakening him.
  • Gelman brought down the Scythe of Funeral, binding Flesh with dark chains and a crown of thorns until his body and head crumbled to dust.

Ch. 522Already no need to hide

Germain returned from defeating the God of Flesh with new powers and told his companions there was no longer any need to conceal the truth. He then met with Chairman Netero and explained the Dark Continent expedition, leaving Netero to consider Germain’s extraordinary power and plans for humanity.

  • Germain returned to the Ancient Labyrinth Tower, where the bell rang and his silver light healed Ging’s wounds.
  • Germain told Biscuit and the gathered survivors that he had won, then allowed them to reveal whatever they wanted.
  • Germain returned to the Coastal Fortress with Shutaner and ordered him to tell the truth and arrange a meeting with the V6 leaders.
  • Chairman Netero met Germain, who recounted the expedition and battle against the God of Flesh.
  • Germain told Netero he would not destroy human society’s order but wanted humanity to stop tearing itself apart.

Ch. 523The Child of Gelman and Shizuku

Gelman confronted the V6 leaders and pushed them toward an agreement over the New Continent, ushering in a new era of change. Later, Shizuku gave birth to Gelman’s daughter, Sharna, as their allies celebrated with them.

  • Chairman Netero told the V6 leaders that Gelman had given them time to accept the reality of the New Continent, but they had ignored his evidence and demands.
  • Gelman arrived, told the V6 leaders he would send them back to the Six Continents after they reached an agreement, and left the negotiations to Netero.
  • Policies shifted in favor of the Hunter Association, the New Continent, Greed Island, and Meteor City as investors and others flocked toward the New Continent.
  • On May 27, Shizuku gave birth to a baby girl with Gelman by her side, while friends and allies traveled to congratulate them.
  • Princess Oito held the newborn, and Shizuku and Gelman named their daughter Sharna.
