Background / History
The Primordial World was formed from Great God Pangu's transformed body after he created heaven and earth. His spine became Buzhou Mountain; his blood became rivers; his skin became land; his hair became stars; and the myriad insects of his body became common people. Powerful beings of the Great Desolation also emerged from him, while his Primordial Spirit divided into three streams of clear qi 144.
Its early history was shaped by successive struggles for dominance. The Witch Race rose after the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribulation, only to be opposed by the Demon Race under arrangements attributed to Old Ancestor Hongjun and the Heavenly Dao. The later Witch-Demon War devastated the world and created the conditions for the human race's rise 129.
The Heavenly Dao maintained supremacy by manipulating the world's races, tribulations, and Saints. Ye Changqing's arrival disrupted this order, eventually enabling Empress Nuwa and Empress Pingxin to establish the Human Dao and Earthly Dao alongside the pre-existing Heavenly Dao 128 129.

| Heaven, Earth, and Human Daos | Integrated after the Heavenly Dao's destruction, forming the foundation of the newborn world 154. |
Major Events
Hongmeng Purple Qi Incursion
A crack in the sky released immense quantities of Hongmeng Purple Qi into the Primordial World. Numerous powerful beings competed for it, but the qi violently tore apart those who tried to refine it before condensing into a ball of light and vanishing 69 70.
Arrival of the Hongmeng World
A colossal world arrived and collided with the Primordial World. After the collision's light faded, it was received by members of the Hongmeng Divine Race as the world of their Lord 73.
Investiture of the Gods Tribulation
The Primordial World's major sects and Saints fought for control of the Human World after the Jie Cult disrupted the Investiture of the Gods and seized the Investiture of the Gods and God-Beating Whip. Golden Ao Island was banished into infinite space, leaving the Jie Cult exposed while the mortal war between Xiqi and Yin Shang began 120.
Rise of the Human and Earthly Daos
Empress Nuwa escaped confinement and established the Human Dao, while Empress Pingxin established the Earthly Dao. Their actions directly challenged the Heavenly Dao's exclusive authority and led to open conflict 128.
Pangu's Restoration and the New World
As Pangu was recreated, the Primordial World's mountains, land, stars, blood sea, and celestial bodies contributed their energy because they originated from him 153. Pangu ultimately defeated and annihilated the Heavenly Dao. The Heaven, Earth, and Human Daos were integrated, Pangu stabilized the resulting newborn world, and he then entered the Six Paths of Reincarnation 154.
