"My Frost Demon Clan is the strongest race in the universe!"

King Cold roared furiously.

Energy began gathering in his eyes. He wanted to use his Light Eye technique.

He'd simply been too careless earlier. The child hadn't seemed to have much fighting power.

He hadn't expected his opponent to seize the opportunity.

"I can use that move too."

When Son Gohan saw his opponent preparing to use Light Eye, he began gathering energy as well.

Boom!

The two beams collided in an instant.

King Cold was blasted straight into the mountainside.

Son Gohan charged after him.

"Incredible! I can't believe even someone as powerful as King Cold is getting utterly thrashed by Gohan!"

"Gohan's power is terrifying!"

"We haven't even seen what happened, and King Cold is already down!"

"What on earth is going on?"

"Tien Shinhan, can your three eyes follow their movements?"

Everyone stared in stunned confusion. They hadn't even seen how either fighter had attacked.

Son Gohan's Battle Power was completely beyond their understanding.

They couldn't believe that in just two months, he'd undergone such a transformation.

His Battle Power had left them all far behind.

Piccolo and Son Goku, meanwhile, were grinning broadly.

Back on the battlefield.

Crash! Crash! Crash!

The entire mountain was reduced to rubble in an instant.

The two fighters flew out of the ruins and into the air.

"Crazy Death Beam!"

Covered in wounds, King Cold unleashed Crazy Death Beam in a fury.

He wanted to use his energy to attack his opponent.

"Pathetic trick."

Son Gohan transformed into a Super Saiyan, his Battle Power reaching two billion.

He was now completely unfazed by energy attacks.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Son Gohan let the countless Energy Blasts slam into his body, but they had no effect at all.

King Cold was sweating profusely with anxiety, but there was nothing he could do.

Son Gohan burst through the Energy Blasts and punched King Cold right in the head.

Thud!

King Cold's body flew backward like a kite with its strings cut.

Son Gohan didn't give him a chance to catch his breath. He sped in front of him and kicked him again.

In an instant, he was playing soccer with King Cold in midair.

King Cold's screams rang out continuously above them.

The onlookers could hear the screams from the sky, but they couldn't see the two fighters' movements at all.

Vegeta gritted his teeth alone in the crater.

It seemed everyone had already forgotten about him.

"You've gone too far! This planet has no reason to exist!"

King Cold had finally shaken off Son Gohan's torment.

His rage had overwhelmed him, and he fired an energy blast at the ground.

He meant to blast Planet Namek to pieces, sending these people flying out into space.

They couldn't survive in space, so they would all die.

"Oh no!"

"Gohan, you won't make it in time!"

"Are we all going to die?"

"King Cold, you bastard!"

"He's trying to take us all down with him!"

Everyone was drenched in cold sweat.

If that energy blast hit Planet Namek,

the entire planet would be destroyed in an instant.

They would all die in the blink of an eye.

"Your plan isn't bad, King Cold. You just chose the wrong opponent."

"Time Stop Technique!"

Son Gohan immediately used his psychic power and held his breath.

In an instant, everything on Planet Namek came to a stop.

It was as if someone had pressed pause on a television.

Only Son Gohan could still move.

With a quick flash, he appeared where the Energy Blast was about to land.

As he gathered energy for a Kamehameha, Son Gohan silently counted how many seconds he could keep time stopped.

King Cold had gone completely berserk. He absolutely couldn't be allowed to live.

When five seconds had passed, Son Gohan began to feel terribly uncomfortable.

Whoosh!

He exhaled, and the Time Stop Technique instantly wore off. Everything began moving again.

Son Gohan fired his Kamehameha. A massive beam of light swallowed the Energy Blast King Cold had launched.

Then, still surging with power, it hurtled toward King Cold.

"H-How can this be? How are you so fast?"

"No!"

The massive beam of energy swallowed King Cold in an instant, leaving only his scream behind.

Pick Up All.

Son Gohan silently thought the words, and the Battle Power attributes scattered across the ground flowed into his body.

His Attribute Panel showed that his Battle Power had reached forty-five million.

"Yeah, we won!"

"That scared me to death!"

"I knew Gohan wouldn't let us down."

"Don't act so tough—you were pale with fright just now."

Tien Shinhan and the others froze for a moment, then cheered excitedly.

This battle had completely changed their understanding of power.

Now they couldn't wait to start training, with surpassing Son Gohan as their goal.

"Gohan, thank you. You've saved our planet once again."

The Namekians leaped and cheered, letting out all their excitement.

They were overjoyed.

After King Cold was defeated, the Namekians used the Dragon Balls to revive their people.

Son Gohan also made a wish: he wanted Son Goku to be free of illness and immune to all poisons.

He knew that during the Cell Saga, Son Goku would suffer an attack of Chronic Heart Disease.

If Future Trunks hadn't brought him medicine, the consequences would have been disastrous.

Time flew by!

A year slipped quietly away.

After defeating King Cold, Son Gohan had used Instant Transmission to bring everyone back to Earth once again.

Everyone began their own training.

Suddenly, a massive spaceship entered Earth's atmosphere.

A terrifying, Evil Aura instantly engulfed the planet.

"Oh no, Earth is in danger!"

Kami sensed the powerful, Evil Aura. His face turned deathly pale.

Sweat streamed down his forehead. This aura was far too powerful.

Looking toward Mount Paozu, he murmured, "Son Gohan, Earth's fate rests in your hands."

"Is this Evil Aura Frieza's? No, that can't be right. Could it be..."

As soon as the aura drew near Earth, Son Gohan sensed it.

It seemed that by defeating King Cold and Frieza, he'd changed some events.

Now Frieza's older brother, Cooler, had come to Earth for revenge.

Cooler was the ruler of a region of the universe. He first appeared in Dragon Ball Z Movie 5: Cooler's Revenge.

When Frieza wiped out the Saiyans, Cooler had "stood by and watched," letting the infant Son Goku (Kakarot), who had been sent to Earth, escape.

He'd even mocked Frieza for his carelessness. Twenty-four years later, Frieza was defeated by Son Goku after he transformed into a Super Saiyan.

In the movie, Cooler and his men attacked Earth to defeat Son Goku.

Son Gohan hadn't expected him to reach Earth so soon.

Before long, the Dragon Ball Z fighters Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Krillin all sensed the terrifying Evil Aura invading Earth.

They all set out, flying toward the source of the evil aura.
