Background / History
Madara is an Uchiha who regards himself as the strongest being on earth and measures nearly every opponent against his own standard. He carries lasting hostility toward Tobirama, whom he names as the person he hated most in life, while Hashirama remains his desired rival and the opponent he most wants to face directly. 151 187
He believes the Uchiha stone tablet presents the only path to peace and pursues that peace through absolute control rather than trust in human will. This conviction leads him to the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which he activates after becoming the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki. 191 202
Madara’s certainty collapses when Black Zetsu reveals that it is not Madara’s consciousness, but an Ōtsutsuki being acting for Kaguya. Black Zetsu takes over Madara’s body, using him as the vessel for Kaguya’s revival. 202 203
Personality
Madara is supremely confident, confrontational, and contemptuous of weakness. He taunts opponents, dismisses cooperation from others, and insists that his own rules are absolute. 149 150 168
He particularly despises sneak attacks, associating them with his resentment toward Hashirama. Yet he is capable of recognizing power: he acknowledges Josuke’s strategy, Shisui’s growth, and the combined threat posed by Fugaku, Shisui, and Itachi. 151 167 194
Despite his cruelty, Madara frames his actions as sacrifices made for a greater and permanent peace. He rejects Itachi’s defense of the Uchiha massacre, arguing that true sacrifice requires giving up everything for a larger goal. 192
Abilities & Skills
Dōjutsu and Susanoo
Madara possesses both the Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan, using them to dominate large-scale battles.

- His Susanoo rapidly repairs damage, including injuries inflicted by Josuke’s attacks. 150
- Employs Limbo to evade or counter attacks as Six Paths Madara. 195 201

- Escapes conventional sealing measures through deception and substitution. 194
- Uses Impure World Reincarnation: Release to remove the restriction of his reanimated state. 160
Six Paths Power
After merging with the Ten-Tails, Madara becomes a Six Paths-level combatant.

Battle Against the Allied Shinobi Forces

Clash with the Reanimated Uchiha
Fugaku, Shisui, and Itachi challenge Madara together using Perfect Susanoo. Madara defeats their attempts through superior experience, escapes their Four Red Yang Formation with a Wood Release clone, and redirects Obito’s Impure World Reincarnation toward his own resurrection. 191 192 194

After regaining his Rinnegan, Madara merges with the Ten-Tails and becomes Six Paths Madara. He activates the Infinite Tsukuyomi, only for Black Zetsu to reveal that Madara himself was manipulated and to transform him into Kaguya’s vessel. 195 202 203
Postwar Alliance
Following Kaguya’s sealing, Madara reappears as Rinnegan Madara. He accepts Josuke’s proposal to unite powerful reanimated shinobi in defense of the Ninja World and as an act of atonement. 210
