Background / History

Ao Chen follows the Mythical Grand Unity Method and refuses to attend Dao Ancestor Hongjun’s lecture, choosing instead to learn directly from the Primordial World. During an expedition through the dangerous East Sea, he discovers a secret realm containing a fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation. 5

His strength is concealed from most observers early on. Though he appears to be only an Earth Immortal, he kills the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal Jiao Mo with one palm strike, piercing the World Fetus Membrane and erasing both body and soul. 3

While traveling toward Buzhou Mountain, Ao Chen defeats the Great Luo Demon Saint Ci Tie and reaches the mountain to study its pressure and the Chaos Gourd’s Innate Spiritual Restrictions. There, he develops the principles needed for the Mythical True Immortal Realm, though he initially lacks the means to complete its corresponding scripture chapter. 8 16

Ao Chen obtains the missing insight through the Wu Clan. After suppressing Zhu Rong with a finger, he spends centuries testing the Ancestral Witch’s physical resilience in battle. He later defeats Gong Gong and the Twelve Ancestral Witches, then spends eight thousand years visiting their tribes to study their laws and Immortal Body applications. 19 20 21 23

Personality

Ao Chen is independent and uncompromising in his pursuit of the Great Dao. He dismisses conventional opportunities, treasures, and authority when they do not serve his path, including Hongjun’s lecture, Yuan Huang’s offer of thirty Innate Spiritual Treasures, and Tongtian’s Four Immortal Slaying Swords and Formation Diagram. 5 92 127

He is intensely curious about unfamiliar principles. Rather than immediately ending his fight with Minghe, he repeatedly slays and studies him to understand the mechanism behind the Blood God Clone Avatar.
