Background

Sakura grew up alongside her older brother Shinji, Rin Tohsaka, and Shirou Emiya. Their childhood dynamic usually consisted of Shinji and Rin arguing, Shirou mediating, and Sakura quietly following the group. 5

During the production of Fate/stay night (FSN), Sakura preferred assisting Shinji on set to attending school. Her part in the film was small, so she primarily handled miscellaneous work as Shinji's assistant; nevertheless, she valued the crew's atmosphere and her time with her brother. Shinji ultimately sent her back to school when filming neared completion. 11
