Iwagakure's Bargaining Chip

After Minamoto Takuya captured Rōshi, Ōnoki tightened protection around Han and prevented him from leaving Iwagakure, making him difficult to target directly. Takuya instead planned to use Rōshi as leverage to demand Five-Tails chakra. 179

Ōnoki eventually brought Han to Takuya. Han agreed to the exchange himself, though Ōnoki stressed that Kokuō might resist. 181

Extraction of the Five-Tails' Chakra

Takuya subdued Kokuō and extracted a compressed sphere of Five-Tails chakra from Han. He then returned the unconscious Han to Ōnoki, demonstrating that the exchange had been only the beginning of his demands. 182

Akatsuki Abduction

During Akatsuki's assault on Iwagakure, Han and Rōshi resisted but were ultimately captured. Ōnoki later informed the Five Kage that Akatsuki had taken possession of the Four-Tails' and Five-Tails' powers. 270 274
