The dawn in Theramore was shattered by a series of deafening explosions.

"Boom boom boom--!!!"

The windows of the Deren house trembled violently, and the teacups on the coffee table clattered and danced. Onyxia awoke with a start, dragon scales instantly covering half her face, her golden vertical pupils gleaming in the darkness.

"Here we go again," Deren groaned, burying his face in the pillow.

Just then, Jaina's Portal exploded in the living room, and the female mage stumbled out with dark circles under her eyes and a few flying leaves stuck in her hair.

"I can't take it anymore!" She slumped onto the sofa, her voice muffled by the cushions. "Professor Antonidas tested a new method of explosion again this morning, saying he was testing the room temperature stability of Nitroglycerin!"

"Why did that handsome middle-aged man suddenly become interested in explosion experiments?" Black Dragon asked listlessly.

Jaina gave a wry smile, "It's all because Teacher Aegwynn mentioned that Nitroglycerin might change the history of magic, and she seemed quite interested. She asked Teacher Antonidas about its specific production and application."

"Then, Mr. Antonidas, who was trying to curry favor with Ms. Aegwynn, naturally had to demonstrate the various uses of Glyph Bomb. The two even discussed how to use them in a wider range of applications. So they kept exploding with a 'bang, bang' sound."

"It's so noisy!" The Bronze Dragon poked its head out from the second floor in protest.

Deren, still half-asleep, handed Jaina a cup of coffee. "At least they didn't blow the city up."

"They blew up the eastern beach yesterday, and three sea turtles were reduced to pieces!" Jaina jerked her head up, her blue eyes bloodshot. "The day before yesterday it was the western swamp! The site of your old dragon's nest explosion, do you remember? They're testing a new yield."

"Boom--!!!"

Another violent tremor shook the ground, and the picture frame on the fireplace crashed to the floor. Chromie peered out from the second-floor railing, her little face filled with terror. "Time, how much longer will this go on?!"

Onyxia gritted her teeth menacingly, "I'm going to go and swallow those two old bastards whole right now."

"No!" Jaina and Deren shouted in unison.

"You can't beat them!" Chromie's truth hurt even more.

"So nobody's going to protest?" Black Dragon asked, frustrated.

"You're going?" Jaina said with a smile. "There was this clueless High Elf who got frightened by her Hawkstrider and ran to the Mage Tower to protest. She was immediately turned into a sheep and made to eat grass for two hours. Later, I paid her to move the Hawkstrider farm to the other side of the city, and that finally solved the problem."

"Oh, I'd love to see what it's like to see Black Dragon eating grass," Chromie said gleefully.

"You're asking for it, you little dwarf!" Onyxia could only vent her anger on the Bronze Dragon. She didn't dare to protest. The thought of the Black Dragon eating grass made her feel extremely ashamed.

"How about we try a different approach, something to distract them from the explosions?" Deren couldn't stand being woken up by explosions every day. Clearly, as dual cultivators of science and magic, and with two Archmage working together, it was difficult for them to care about the lives of ordinary people once they were immersed in their experiments. Especially since one of them was showing off his skills while pursuing a woman.

"Hurry, Deren, make them stop that damned explosion experiment!" Onyxia, hearing this, felt like she had found a savior. She grabbed Deren's left arm and used a move called Golden Serpent Entwining Hand—or, if dragons count as serpents.

For the sake of peace in Theramore, Deren finally resorted to his trump card.

"This is called a ' Thermobaric Bomb '," he said, drawing a rough diagram of gaseous diffusion and oxygen absorption on parchment. "Some special substances absorb oxygen from the air. I think the mages of Dalaran discovered the existence of oxygen long ago, creating a localized oxygen-deficient zone. This mixture of gaseous combustibles and oxygen will permeate the underground tunnels, directly causing the death of ordinary creatures. Then, a small ignition will detonate the entire gas cloud. If a creature with a strong constitution hasn't died from the initial oxygen deficiency, the explosion will generate temperatures of thousands of degrees, severely damaging it, if not killing it. The only problem is how to find this oxygen-absorbing volatile substance."

When Jaina handed the notebook to Aegwynn, the two Archmage ' eyes instantly lit up like Arcane Crystal, but they still couldn't understand most of the unfamiliar sentences.

That afternoon, the Deren family's living room was once again torn apart by Portal. Aegwynn and Antonidas rushed in like two children who had discovered a new toy; smoke was still rising from the hem of Antonidas's suit, clearly indicating that an explosion had just occurred.

"Boy! Tell me your theory about air in detail. Compare it with the research findings from Dalaran." Aegwynn grabbed Deren by the collar, his fanaticism making even the Black Dragon Princess back away.

Deren swallowed hard. "Perhaps, maybe, the composition of Azeroth's air needs to be experimentally verified first."

The two Archmage exchanged a glance and instantly reached a consensus. Antonidas pulled out a "Chronology of Atmospheric Experiments" from somewhere, while Aegwynn began taking out various experimental instruments from his Space Bag. They then began conducting experiments directly in the living room of the Deren family's house.

The lazy hermit Deren is forced to get involved in modern physical and chemical experiments in Azeroth.

"The world is finally quiet," Jaina murmured, sprawled on the sofa. The two teachers had finally stopped playing with the explosions.

Onyxia watched the two busy figures, a rare look of awe on her face. "I now believe that if they keep going like this, taking on Titan one-on-one isn't impossible."

"I still think Deren is more dangerous. Especially hanging around with those two Archmage, who knows what strange and dangerous things they might do." Chromie hid behind the sofa, peeking out to look at the experimental area on the other side.

"He wouldn't use Thermobaric Bomb for no reason; he must have some target. I have a feeling he'll be bombing somewhere soon." Black Dragon bared his sharp teeth, contemplating the pleasure of bombing.

"Don't say that, no! My Timeline has suddenly gotten tangled. Oh no, the future is unobservable again. What is Deren doing? It's too dangerous! But now that we're in Nozdormu, it's no use. There are two Archmage here, Archmage that even Dragon fear." Chromie couldn't even hold her Hourglass Staff, which fell to the ground. Her small body felt as if it had been hollowed out, and she slumped weakly to the ground.

"Don't be discouraged, little dwarf. It's not the first time we've messed up the Timeline. Trust Deren, he'll always manage to make the world a better place!" Black Dragon said nonchalantly.

"Okay, I hope so. Anyway, let's just give up like this!" The Bronze Dragon picked up his staff and lay down on the sofa with the Black Dragon.

Fish Dragon x2!!!
