History
Jing Hongchen arranged for Yue and Meng Hongchen to study at Shrek as visiting students, exchanging the crafting method for a Rank 8 Soul Tool to secure their places. Their initial arrangement covered study in the Outer Court without representing Shrek in the Soul Master Competition; they could choose to join fully later 2.
During the freshman assessment, Yue’s thrown match and his confrontation with spectators prompted two changes: he was disqualified from the finals, and Mu En ordered a “questioning of the heart” to be added to student assessments 19 20.
Shrek subsequently agreed to cooperate with Mingde Hall. It would establish a branch campus at Mingde Hall, while its Soul Engineering Department would become a Mingde Hall branch hall at Shrek.
