Background / History

Meng awakened the Vermilion Clear Ice Toad, a mutated beast-type Martial Soul with ice, fire, and poison attributes. Its extreme poison can corrode the soul, while its fire attribute manifests through her eyes. Jing Hongchen recognized her as suited to becoming a powerful Soul Master and arranged for her to attend Shrek alongside Yue. 2

She entered Shrek Academy with Yue as a visiting student. Unwilling to share a dormitory with strangers or live separately from him, she persuaded Yue to purchase a small courtyard near the academy. 3

Although her Martial Soul has strong assault potential, Meng deliberately chose the Control-type path so she could support Yue in the future. Mu Jin advised her to continue prioritizing ice-attributed Soul Rings to strengthen her control capabilities. 8

During the freshman assessment, Meng formed a team with Ning Tian and Wu Feng. The trio reached the final three teams, with Meng's extreme poison and battlefield control making opposing teams wary enough to surrender. 11 23

Appearance

Meng has long, straight silver-white hair, usually tied into a ponytail on the right side, and watery blue eyes. 1
