Background / History

Huo Yuhao arrives at Shrek Academy alongside Tang Ya and Beibei, later than Yue Hongchen and Meng Hongchen. He is recognized as a short black-haired boy around Yue’s age. 3

He begins selling grilled fish outside Shrek’s East Gate. Yue notices that Huo is physically weak and apparently malnourished, pays a Gold Soul Coin for two fish without taking change, and organizes the crowd into a queue; the attention rapidly turns Huo’s first day of business into a success. 6

Xu Sanshi later attempts to seize fish from Huo’s stall and attacks him when he resists. Yue blocks the attack, while Beibei and Tang Ya intervene on Huo’s behalf as members of the Tang Sect. 7

During the freshman assessment, Huo and Wang Dong arrive late for an elimination match after a cultivation-related development. Huo’s team ultimately wins the assessment after Yue is disqualified from the finals. 12 21 The academy subsequently grants Huo temporary core-disciple treatment. 24

During the holiday, Huo plans to obtain another Soul Ring with Fan Yu’s assistance.
