Mu Jin is fair-minded and practical in her teaching. Rather than imposing a class-monitor choice, she creates a supervised duel between Yue Hongchen and the Wu Feng–Ning Tian pair, then confirms Ning Tian as monitor and Wu Feng as vice monitor after the result. 4 5

She pays close attention to each student's capabilities and long-term path. She permits Yue and Meng to replace routine afternoon training with cultivation at the Mimicry Training Ground, advises Meng on developing her ice attribute for the Control-type route, and cautions her class not to accumulate hidden injuries for short-term assessment results. 8
