History

Creation and the Heavenly Dao

The Primordial World was opened when Pangu split Heaven and Earth and transformed into the myriad Daos. Under the Great Dao’s nurturing, it produced Innate Deities, Innate Living Beings, the Myriad Races, and Innate Spiritual Treasures. Because the Great Dao of primordial Chaos was not fully suited to this new world, the Primordial World gradually developed the Heavenly Dao as its own governing Dao. 3

The Heavenly Dao originates from the Great Dao but is distinct from it: the Great Dao governs Chaos, while the Heavenly Dao encompasses the Primordial World itself. 3

Early Calamities

The world’s earliest history was marked by the Fierce Beast Tribulation, when ancient Great Powers united to clear Sha Qi and destroy the fierce beasts. The Innate Three Clans later ruled and fought for supremacy, but their war destabilized Heaven and Earth and caused Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind to re-emerge. 185 307

Ancestor Dragon, Primordial Phoenix, and First Qilin ultimately transformed into Dao to suppress the unstable elemental forces and reduce the karma borne by their clans. 307

Damage and Restoration

The Western Continent was once desolate because of damaged earth veins. Donghua, Houtu, Jieyin, Zhunti, and their allies repaired those veins, restoring spiritual energy and allowing the region to flourish again. 90 91

The Third Calamity left Buzhou Mountain broken, the firmament shattered, and Chaos storms spilling into the central region. The restoration of Buzhou Mountain and the transformation of the Heavenly Dao afterward created an exceptional cultivation opportunity for beings across the world. 258 259

Completion of the Three Daos

The Netherworld World was discovered beneath Haoli Mountain near Mount Tai. It was a complete independent Great World filled with Netherworld Qi and Yellow Springs; Houtu’s Dao resonated with it, establishing her connection to the emerging Earth Realm. 96

Houtu later embodied Reincarnation, bringing the Netherworld Earth Realm into being and enabling the Earth Dao to mature. 285

Nuwa’s creation of the Human Race introduced the race that would eventually become the Protagonist of Heaven and Earth. After the Human Race’s unification under Fuxi, the Human Dao was perfected, allowing the Heaven, Earth, and Human Daos to stand together. 213 355 356
