Background

Chu Fan is one of the Chu Family's two celebrated prodigies alongside his elder brother, Chu Tian. Born with innate divine strength, he was sent to the Taiyi Sect to study under Cui Buno and became a practitioner of the sect's supreme arts. Captured by their grappling hooks, he breaks free through brute force and Taiyi Sect martial arts, killing three bandits and forcing the leader to flee. 4 5

He later becomes entangled in a misunderstanding when two women mistake him and Wen Rou for the bandits. Although the actual bandits exploit the confusion to escape, Chu Fan eventually explains the situation; the women leave intending to kill the true culprits and apologize. 7 8 10
