Background / History

Wu Qianhuan is Wu Ganqi's only daughter and grew up alongside Chu Qing, who is two years her senior. As children, she followed him through the streets and joined in his mischief; after beginning martial training, her superior talent eventually allowed her to defeat him regularly. 13

The Wu and Chu families maintained close ties in Heavenly Dance City, leading to an arranged marriage between Wu Qianhuan and Chu Qing. Chu Qing fled before the marriage, leaving her exposed to gossip and humiliation. She is decisive without being reckless. During the operation against Tang Xi, she obeyed the agreed command structure and attacked immediately, but refused to kill Tang Xi's defenseless companion. She also recognized that entering Tang Xi's secret room would risk trapping both herself and Chu Qing, choosing withdrawal over immediate gains. 31

In return for the assassination and his intelligence, she arranges a secret meeting at Du Hua Pavilion, pays him a 1,500-tael silver note, and provides information concerning Luoyu Hall. 24 29

Fall of Luoyu Hall

Wu Qianhuan joins the Night Emperor's operation against Tang Xi after learning that he cultivates the Hate Heart Demonic Art. She obtains Luoyu Hall's defense map, infiltrates the hall with him, and helps kill Tang Xi after his attempt to escape. 30 31
