Background / History
Before inheriting the Raikage title, A was known as Dikai. He faced Toneri during the Chunin Exams, where he fought as a Kumogakure ninja and forced Toneri to reveal hidden speed and summon Aoda. 69
Dikai is the Third Raikage's son and trained obsessively to improve his physical strength and Lightning Release Chakra Mode. Toneri later encountered him while infiltrating Kumogakure and recognized both his lineage and future position as the Fourth Raikage. 151 152
During the Third Shinobi World War, A pursued Toneri and Minato after they killed Kumogakure jonin and deliberately left a body behind to provoke a response. He fought Minato alongside Killer B, while Toneri revealed himself as the Two-Tails' jinchūriki and entered his true Two-Tails Mode. 214 216
By the Five Kage Summit, A had become Kumogakure's Fourth Raikage. 329
Personality
A is intensely protective of Kumogakure and reacts decisively to threats against its ninja. Discovering the body left by Toneri and Minato, he immediately committed himself to finding them before more Kumogakure casualties occurred. 214
As Dikai, he was a dedicated training fanatic whose rapid physical development and sustained Lightning Release practice distinguished him from Toneri's more experimental approach to the same style. 151 152
