Background and History
Dikai is the son of the Third Raikage, who also held the name A. Before inheriting that title, Dikai was a dedicated trainee and an old rival of Toneri’s from the Chūnin Exams. Toneri encounters him again at a Kumogakure hospital 151.
During the Third Shinobi World War, A fights alongside Killer B as the A-B Combo. He confronts Toneri and Minato, and later joins his father and Killer B in responding to Toneri’s attack on the Kumogakure army 216 262 263. After the Third Raikage falls, A succeeds him and drives back an Iwagakure attack. Despite his anger, he does not pursue the retreating enemy; he reclaims his father’s body instead 270.
As Fourth Raikage, A attends the Five Kage Summit, where Toneri criticizes him and Ōnoki for ignoring earlier warnings 329.
