Background

Jiang Zhaoxia was born into the Jiang Family, a martial-arts clan. His father drove his mother to death in order to marry into a powerful family, then sought to abandon Jiang Zhaoxia. Lin Xunfeng saved him and brought him to Qingxiao Sect, leaving Jiang Zhaoxia permanently estranged from his birth family. He nevertheless remained concerned with the Jiang Clan's fate and later resolved to avenge its destruction. 14 160 161

As Qingxiao Sect's Third Disciple, Jiang Zhaoxia was exceptionally loyal to Li Qingqiu from the beginning. Though initially irritated by Li Qingqiu's refusal to let him wield a sword, he accepted the Heavenly Rainbow Sword when Li Qingqiu finally entrusted it to him and began dedicating himself to martial and immortal cultivation. 1 3
