History

Ninja Academy years

Obito attended Konoha's Ninja Academy alongside Kakashi, Nohara Rin, Shisui, Asuma, and other future shinobi. He admired Kakashi's ability while loudly insisting that he would one day surpass and protect him; the students formed the Azure Dragon Gang to train together and challenge Namikaze Minato after graduation. 51

His awakening as an Uchiha came after his grandmother received Konoha's pension and welfare funds. Shocked by her happiness and gratitude toward the village, Obito awakened the Sharingan. 87
