Background

Su Qiu's parents were killed by Evil Soul Masters when he was young. He was subsequently raised by his uncle, Su Wuyan, whose own hatred of Evil Soul Masters became a defining influence on him. Su Qiu resolved to become their nemesis and devoted his cultivation to gaining the strength to eliminate them. 2 245

At his Martial Soul awakening, Su Qiu manifested the Sword of Promised Victory and the Shining Spear of the End. Neither Martial Soul matched his family lineage or any recorded Martial Soul on the Douluo Continent. Su Qiu himself recognized them as powers originating from the Fate world rather than Douluo. 2

Su Wuyan initially intended to arrange a conventional path for his nephew, but Su Qiu's unprecedented Twin Martial Souls and exceptional talent led him to personally train Su Qiu toward becoming the continent's strongest fighter against Evil Soul Masters. 2
