The Discussion of the Dragon Kings
With the collapse of the Siren Theocracy, the Bahamas Empire quickly followed suit, seizing the opportune moment.
Only the Council Nation, ruled by the True Dragon Lord, was still clinging to life, like a giant beast struggling on its deathbed.
Inside a towering, hollowed-out cave, strange light refracts through countless crystal-clear stalactites, casting a dazzling glow, as if the heavens are reflected in this underground wonderland.
The cave walls are inlaid with gemstones of various colors, red like flames, blue like the deep sea, and green like jade, resembling a natural mural that radiates dazzling brilliance.
Deep within the cave, on a mysterious altar, three enormous True Dragon Lord— the Diamond Dragon Lord, the Blue Sky Dragon Lord, and the Platinum Dragon Lord— gathered together.
Each True Dragon Lord radiated a unique magical light, its enormous dragon eyes filled with solemnity and gravity.
"As everyone knows, if it weren't for the intervention of the Progenitor Dragon Emperor, those ninjas would probably have already reached this place."
The Diamond Dragon Lord, who spoke first, shimmered with diamond-like light all over his body, like a huge gemstone, radiating light, and his defensive capabilities were difficult to break even for Shining Moon- level being.
"However, with the Progenitor Dragon Emperor injured by the Ninja World Head of State, the destruction of the Council Nation is only a matter of time."
The Diamond Dragon Lord's voice was deep and powerful, but his body, shimmering with diamond light, trembled slightly, revealing his inner anxiety and unease.
The deaths of the Wyrm Dragon Lord and the Obsidian Dragon King did not move the Diamond Dragon Lord. The two weakest of the five dragon kings were dead, and that was that; the power that was vacated was something he could seize.
However, the Dragon Emperor's injury shattered his proud Dragon King heart, and his words were filled with pessimism about the future.
"The Re-Estize Kingdom of Reyes, the Bahamas Empire, Siren Theocracy —these three kingdoms have been invaded and seized by the Ninja World."
The Blue Sky Dragon Lord raised its head, its emerald-green scales shimmering with vibrant light, like a spring meadow exuding boundless vitality, its eyes deep and clear.
"Nearby are Desert City, the Holy Kingdom, and the Dragon Kingdom, and further east are the City Alliance nations. Could these countries be invited to provide assistance?"
When the Blue Sky Dragon Lord asked the question, his dragon eyes fell on the Platinum Dragon Lord.
The Platinum Dragon Lord stood silently on the altar, like a sacred statue. Its scales shimmered with a platinum-like light, like stars in the sky, and its eyes revealed a hint of helplessness.
This son of the Dragon Emperor, who has taken up residence here from the far east, is not only incredibly powerful, but also maintains a powerful force outside the Council Nation.
Compared to the central region, the northwest corner of the Mana Continent is remote and lacks resources.
The Blue Sky Dragon Lord found it hard to believe that the Platinum Dragon Lord, with his noble bloodline, would be willing to sit in the Council Nation for hundreds of years without changing his mind.
The fact that the Platinum Armor was only sent out for fresh air on a daily basis made it easy for the Blue Sky Dragon Lord to guess that the Platinum Dragon Lord must be hiding a huge secret.
However, every True Dragon Lord has its own secrets, which the Blue Sky Dragon Lord doesn't care about.
Now all he wants to know is whether the Platinum Dragon Lord can find outside help.
Given the Diamond Dragon Lord's abilities, he is bound to be unable to protect the Council Nation. At that point, there will be only two choices: one is to surrender and accept an unknown fate, and the other is to fight to the death.
The Blue Sky Dragon Lord was unwilling to accept either outcome. How could a dragon soaring through the sky fight to the death for its servants and territory, while it could continue to reign supreme in any corner of the continent?
Not to mention abandoning the dignity of a dragon and kneeling at the feet of others.
Even if the Ninja World Head of State who injured the Dragon Emperor is not an option!
The only reason he's reluctant to give up the Council Nation, which he's cultivated for hundreds of years, is that when faced with real danger, the Blue Sky Dragon Lord will still choose to flee.
"No matter how many sheep gather, they are still sheep. Facing the wolves and tigers of the Ninja World, they can only play a role in restraining the enemy's top-level combat power."
After a long while, a hint of helplessness was revealed in the Platinum Dragon Lord's cold eyes.
He spoke slowly, "Moreover, these countries may not be willing to risk aiding us, after all, they all have their own interests and considerations."
Since his Platinum Armor was seized by the Ninja World, the Platinum Dragon Lord has contacted his subordinates and forces in the east, preparing to unite and launch an attack on the Ninja World together.
However, the situation changed too drastically, and even his father, who had always presented himself as invincible, had one of his dragon claws severed by Uchiha Takeyasu.
Upon first hearing this news, even the Platinum Dragon Lord felt as if he had fallen into a nightmare.
With the strength of the Ninja World Head of State, it's only a matter of time before he slaughters the entire Mana Continent.
He's now only allowing his ninja forces to gradually erode the Mana Continent, which is largely due to a carefree attitude, much like how he casually established the Council Nation.
However, passively responding to the Ninja World's invasion is not a good solution. For now, all the Platinum Dragon Lord can do is hide himself and continuously send out cannon fodder to deplete the Ninja World's manpower.
Perhaps, given time, things will take a new turn.
"Interests and considerations?"
The Diamond Dragon Lord fears Uchiha Takeyasu, but that doesn't mean he fears others, especially the original inhabitants of the continent.
A cold glint appeared in the enormous dragon's eyes, and his voice was chillingly icy, "Then let those who even consider such things disappear completely!"
The True Dragon Lord's rule has moved from the forefront to the background, and over the course of a thousand years, the only thing that has remained unchanged is his arrogant attitude.
The Platinum Dragon Lord gave the Diamond Dragon Lord a deep look, finding it difficult to respond to the latter's arrogance.
The Eight Desires Kings, the Six Gods, and the Thirteen Heroes —those game players have already dealt a heavy blow to the True Dragon Lord. Furthermore, the two Otsutsuki brothers from the Ninja World have forced the True Dragon Lord's heaven to slumber in the Sea of Magic.
The massive attack by the Ninja World has already made the Platinum Dragon Lord feel like he's walking on thin ice.
"Perhaps leaving this continent would be a better choice?"
The Platinum Dragon Lord dismissed the thought as soon as it crossed his mind. As a [World Connector], his strength would plummet if he left this continent.
"Ruling by force and coercion will only alienate our forces and could even lead them to join forces with the Ninja World to betray us."
The Blue Sky Dragon Lord was also getting impatient with the Diamond Dragon Lord's arrogance. "The best way is to lure them with benefits, and then use force to suppress them, so that they understand that only by following us can they have a future."
The Blue Sky Dragon Lord's statement was a bit more sophisticated, but in reality, he was still treating the other forces as cannon fodder.
After pondering for a moment, the Platinum Dragon Lord said, "The current Council Nation is like humanity stuck in a quagmire, unable to extricate itself. There's no need to stubbornly persist."
"Let our loyal servants launch the final attack, then we'll leave this place and head to the City Alliance to regroup."
Faced with the Platinum Dragon Lord's gentle yet undeniable words, the Diamond Dragon Lord and the Blue Sky Dragon Lord slowly lowered their heads.
