Power Progression

The documented advancements below concern the Ninja World’s collective capabilities, rather than an individual cultivation realm.

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Mass civilian chakra use 93 Villages adopt Konoha’s policies, expanding ninja participation in agriculture, commerce, and construction. Konoha reaches 80,000 Life Ninjas.
Integrated battlefield command 145 The Heavenly Eye System combines with teleportation infrastructure to improve intelligence, command, and reinforcement. Initially, it cannot transmit sound and requires two Zero-Tails to support one battlefield.
Energy-sensitive remote observation 184 The Heavenly Eye System can simulate energy fluctuations, allowing observers to assess the immense power deployed at the Great Tomb.
Six Paths-level technological weaponry 203 The lunar research base’s energy cannon reaches Six Paths-level destructive power, alarming Hamura Ōtsutsuki.
Demonstrated resurrection capability 204 206 Takeyasu resurrects Combat Ninjas. Wider use raises questions about access, merit requirements, and unequal treatment between armies.
Million-Genin population 207 Widespread chakra-refinement instruction brings the number of Genin to approximately one million. Ninety-nine percent are middle-aged or elderly, and few advance to Chunin.

Geography & Major Locations

  • Ninja World Continent — The principal continental setting of the hidden villages and their successor provinces 93 225.
  • Land of Fire — Occupies the center of the Ninja World and connects its major transportation routes. Its fertile soil and favorable climate make it particularly prosperous 38.
  • Black Horn Domain — Established in the former Land of Lightning as a lawless arena for territorial competition between villages. It becomes the exception to Konoha’s prohibition on ninja combat elsewhere 91 94.
  • Sun Moon Lake — Formed from the enormous crater left by Takeyasu’s battle with Madara at the former Valley of the End; the lake spans more than ten kilometers 102 120.
  • Mana Continent / Other Continent — An overseas continent with non-human peoples, magic, and cultivation methods distinct from those of the Ninja World. Its discovery redirects village competition toward foreign territory and resources 107 109 110.
  • New Konoha City — Established at the fortress city of Yelantier on the Mana Continent and celebrated as a new capital of the Ninja World 109 120.

Three Great Sage Lands

Sage Land Associated Power Documented Contribution
Mount Myōboku Great Toad Sage and toad summons Offers allegiance to Takeyasu and teaches him Sage Mode; its giant toads later protect recovering troops 92 196.
Ryūchi Cave White Snake Sage and snake forces Supplies a Ninja Beast legion that battles the Great Tomb’s high-tier monsters 196 197.
Shikkotsu Forest Slug Sage Supplies large slug bodies that divide to heal ninjas and Frost Dragons 196.

The masters of all three lands possess strength comparable to the Six Paths realm. Takeyasu nevertheless regards their potential interference as a threat to Konoha 206.

History

Hidden Villages and the World Wars

The First Hokage established the one-country, one-village system. Takeyasu later argues that this arrangement merely enlarged older conflicts—from small, chaotic battles into wars between organized forces—without producing lasting peace 91.

The First Ninja World War ends after Kumogakure splits into rival northern and southern villages. The Third Raikage controls North Cloud Village, while Kinkaku and Ginkaku establish South Cloud Village across Unraikyo Gorge. With the Land of Lightning consumed by internal conflict, Konoha withdraws most of its border forces 16.

The Second Ninja World War begins while the battle at the Valley of the End continues. The Lands of Earth, Wind, and Water attack the Land of Fire without formal declarations; Iwagakure breaches Konoha’s northwestern defense line, and Ōnoki kills Kaku Uchiha. The First World War lasted four years, whereas the Second lasted four days 79 116.

Replacement of Feudal Rule

The Third Raikage assassinates the Land of Lightning’s feudal lord while impersonating Kinkaku and Ginkaku. The killing is described as the first assassination of a Five Great Nations feudal lord by ninjas, undermining the traditional rulers’ legitimacy 50.

Over the following three years, hidden villages seize the national palaces and combine military and political authority. Feudal lords who resist are eliminated. The villages copy Konoha’s reforms, bringing civilians into chakra-based professions on a large scale 93.

Overseas Expansion

A joint exploration force from Konoha, Kirigakure, and Sky Ninja Village crosses the ocean. After capturing a foreign vessel, Yamanaka ninjas extract information about the Other Continent from its crew 97 107.

The expedition secures the port city of Yenaiyur through infiltration, memory reading, and impersonation. Takeyasu orders a plan to annex its kingdom before neighboring powers can react. The discovery also quiets disputes in the Black Horn Domain as villages turn their attention toward overseas wealth 109.

Expansion brings the Ninja World into conflict with the Empire, Council Nation, Holy See, and Great Tomb of Nazarick. Kirigakure eventually conquers the Council Nation, while other armies continue campaigns against the continent’s remaining states 139 173 189 216.

Unification and Final Conflicts

Takeyasu initially postpones direct unification because Konoha cannot yet support the entire population. Once its productive capacity becomes sufficient, he announces the merger of the villages under Konoha and replaces their territorial governments with provinces 211 217 225.

The final phase includes Hamura’s lethal activation of Tenseigan sub-bodies against Byakugan users on the moon and in the Ninja World. After three months of conflict, the Ninja World and Great Tomb are pacified. Takeyasu subsequently defeats Kaguya, confronts the rulers of the other-dimensional Ninja World, and returns to defeat Hagoromo and Hamura, claiming the world as his own 234 241.

Government & Law

Ninja World Head of State

  • Creation of the office — Takeyasu discards the Hokage title and declares himself Ninja World Head of State. The same day becomes the first year of the Ninja Era 110.
  • Authority — All villages’ ninjas are obliged to serve the Head of State. Konoha’s Military Affairs Department gains authority to dispatch forces from other villages 110 116.
  • Obligations — The Head of State is responsible for the prosperous development of the villages 110.
  • Combat restrictions — Ninja combat is prohibited outside the Black Horn Domain. Violators face investigation and pursuit, even when fighting occurs in uninhabited wilderness 94.
  • Judicial development — Konoha begins forming a Judicial Bureau to develop its legal system through practical enforcement 169.

Six-Province Reform

Provincial Governors oversee civil administration, while Ninja Army units remain under the Military Affairs Department. Former village leaders succeed to governorships; they recommend Deputy Governors for approval by Konoha’s Secretariat 225.

Province Provincial Capital Documented Governor
Fire Former Capital of Fire; Konoha is administratively separate Not specified 225
Water Kirigakure, renamed Capital of Water Genji 225 227
Earth Iwagakure, renamed Capital of Earth Han 225 227
Wind Sunagakure, renamed Capital of Wind Chiyo 225 227
Rain Amegakure, renamed Capital of Rain Hanzo of the Salamander 225 227
Thunder Capital of Thunder, established at the former feudal lord’s mansion Not specified 225

Former villages may preserve their identities by founding Ninja Academies both within their provinces and in Konoha, where they can continue teaching their respective wills 226.

Overseas Administration

Former Territory New Designation Capital / Status
Rijesstije Kingdom Heavenly Province Heavenly Capital, at the former royal capital 227
Bahath Empire Earthly Province Earthly Capital, at the former imperial capital 227
Six Gods Siren Theocracy Profound Province Antilin is subsequently identified as its governor 227 232
Yagrand Council Nation Yellow Province Renamed following conquest 227
Southern desert city Planned Green Province Intended to support the Wind Province’s effort to turn desert into oasis 232
  • Overseas offices are allocated to ninjas with meritorious service during conquest, with strength requirements ranging from Morning Star to Blazing Sun 227.
  • Each province receives a Security Bureau whose chief is dispatched by Konoha’s Security Bureau 227.
  • The Holy Kingdom, Dragon Kingdom, and Forest Elf Kingdom are assigned for further subjugation, with submission or force as the available outcomes 227 232.

Chakra & Power System

Chakra and Sage Chakra

  • Ordinary chakra combines Physical Energy and Mental Energy 92.
  • Sage Chakra adds Natural Energy, requiring the three energies to be balanced. It enhances a ninja’s abilities and remains relevant even against Six Paths-level opponents 92.
  • Origin — The Ninja World’s chakra system originates from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and develops into an established system of supernatural abilities 110.
  • Persistence after death — At the Sage of Six Paths’ level, chakra can remain after bodily death if its owner’s obsession persists 70.

Rank Comparisons

The system provides the following cross-world comparison after the Other Continent is discovered 108.

Ninja World Rank Other Continent Classification Level Range
Genin, Chunin, Special Jonin Mortal Realm 1–29 108
Jonin, Elite Jonin Heroic Domain 30–39 108
Kage Level Near-Peak 40–49 108
Strong Kage Brave 50–79 108
Super Kage Transcendent 80–100 108
Six Paths World Class 100+ 108

Limits Across Power Systems

  • Most genjutsu interferes with the target’s chakra. Against the Other Continent’s chakra-less natives, this makes the Uchiha’s customary illusion techniques ineffective, prompting reliance on impersonation and memory extraction 109.
  • The Ninja World Continent lacks the ambient magical energy used on the Other Continent. Tier 3 Magic Chanters lose approximately seventy to eighty percent of their capabilities when they leave their home continent 128.
  • Foreign equipment and bloodlines become major research subjects for the Konoha Science Academy, offering potential improvements beyond conventional ninja techniques 131.

Economy, Education & Infrastructure

  • Agriculture — Genin-accessible Earth, Water, and Wind Release techniques replace much manual tilling, irrigation, and harvesting. Expanded cultivation contributes to population growth 93.
  • Roads and commerce — Earth Release creates broad roads converging on Konoha. Trading posts and market towns develop along them 93.
  • Education — Primary academies expand across Konoha, while the Uchiha, Hyuga, and Senju control its three Higher Education Ninja Academies. Adult students can graduate early by mastering Life Ninja techniques 93.
  • Urban growth — Konoha’s resident population passes 700,000 after three years and later exceeds one million 93 221.
  • Teleportation power — The artificial Zero-Tails converts darkness in human hearts into chakra for the teleportation network. Domestic arrays recharge in roughly half an hour; cross-border arrays generally require half a day 93.
  • Black Horn access — The Black Horn Domain initially has no teleportation array. Nearby Moon Ninja Village profits from serving travelers bound for it 94.

Military Organization

Ninja Census

At the establishment of the Head of State’s office, Life Ninjas perform civilian work, while Combat Ninjas are Chunin or higher, including Medical Ninjas 93 110.

Village / Group Life Ninjas Combat Ninjas
Konoha 80,000 3,000
Iwagakure 40,000 1,500
Sunagakure 40,000 1,200
Kirigakure 50,000 1,800
Amegakure 20,000 1,200
Other villages combined 10,000 1,300
Total 240,000 10,000

Figures are reported by the Military Affairs Department; the remaining-village figures follow from its stated totals 110.

Overseas Armies

  • Central Ninja Army — Initially comprises 2,000 Combat Ninjas: 1,000 from Konoha, 400 each from Kirigakure and Iwagakure, and 200 from Amegakure 124.
  • Southeast Ninja Army — Commanded by Uchiha Baru; operates on the fronts facing the Holy See and Empire 131 139.
  • Northwest Ninja Army — Operates against the Council Nation; Uchiha Naka later assists the conquest of the Dragon Kingdom 131 232.
  • Royal Court Ninja Army — Established for the Great Tomb campaign, commanded by Takeyasu with Hikari as deputy commander and staffed by elite Uchiha Jonin 173 179.
  • Military rewards — Service achievements can be exchanged for land, wealth, Martial Skills, and Bloodline Seeds 120.

Parallel Worlds & Other Realms

  • Paradise — A sub-world whose entrance lies in the Land of Hot Water. Takeyasu proposes connecting it directly to Uchiha territory through a teleportation array 22 86.
  • Rōran’s Dragon Vein — A source of power capable of time travel. Takeyasu uses Dragon Vein energy and a teleportation array to initiate contact and gradual fusion with another Ninja World 96 100.
  • Parallel Ninja Worlds — Hagoromo warns that their development differs radically from Takeyasu’s world. Their approaching merger is expected to produce a war over resources 100.
  • Other-dimensional empires — The Nichiyō, or Sun, Empire is ruled by the Tenseigan-wielding Hyuga Tenin; the Kaguyue, or Shining Moon, Empire is ruled by Six Paths-level Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju 100 101.
  • Pure Land — Hagoromo’s realm receives the dead’s souls, whose emitted Yin Release energy strengthens it. He becomes concerned when fewer souls arrive despite continued development in the Ninja World 100.
  • Moon — Contains an inhabited interior with an artificial sun, ocean, islands, and a Byakugan-bearing population. Konoha later operates a lunar research base there 103 203 234.
