Zhao Bai and Bronya investigated a string of disappearances in Sky City and discovered a plant monster that erased itself from human memory. They destroyed it together, then returned to school amid Theresa’s teasing about their relationship.

• Bronya joined Zhao Bai in Sky City and identified Gong Shan as the murderer, then they found that she had poisoned investigators and turned five girls into rooted victims.
• Zhao Bai killed Gong Shan after she revealed her motives, and he and Bronya opened up to each other about their lonely childhoods.
• As Zhao Bai and Bronya searched Sky City, Gray Serpent secretly unleashed mechanized assassins and struggled to remember the plant he was observing.
• Zhao Bai and Bronya encountered Garlic Turtle in the Botanical Garden, but its memory-erasing effect forced them to retreat and develop a way to track it with mechanical records.

After Theresa’s objections and teasing, Bronya moved into Zhao Bai’s home, while Cocolia learned about their relationship and Rosaliya and Liliya set out to see Zhao Bai.

• Mei prepared red bean rice and wedding garments for Bronya, but Heavy Cannon Rabbit carried Bronya away before she could try on the Shiromuku.

• Rosaliya and Liliya found Bronya and Zhao Bai at the restaurant, but their cocktails made them drunk and they attacked Zhao Bai before he subdued them and took them home.
• Bronya forgave Rosaliya for sneaking to St. Freya, and Zhao Bai made the sisters non-alcoholic drinks before they returned to Cocolia.
• Cocolia learned of Zhao Bai’s treatment of the girls and ordered them examined, while Theresa later brought Bronya and Zhao Bai an ancient stele bearing a crimson Stigmata imprint.
• Zhao Bai entered the Stigmata Space and met the Lianshan Clan, who invited him to the settlement where he encountered Ji Lin.
• When Chiyou arrived, Ji Lin kissed the Lianshan Clan and went to confront it, but the memory froze before Zhao Bai could intervene.
• Theresa explained that Ji Lin had died fighting Chiyou, and Zhao Bai returned to the Stigmata Space determined to change the outcome.
