No one knew better than Lan Mu how extraordinary Earth was. The birth and destruction of the entire Omniverse were founded upon Earth's own birth and destruction.

Earth's will was the will of the universe.

Lan Mu had initially listened quite seriously to Teddy's account, thinking he had uncovered some hidden secret.

However, he was somewhat bewildered upon hearing about the historical texts, and even more bewildered when he heard about the divine dragon.

During a period of turmoil on Earth, people had produced countless folk compilations and imaginative speculations about supernatural phenomena.

Lan Mu had forcibly erased all humanity's memories and had Feifu destroy all the "historical texts." Logically speaking, such rumors should no longer have existed.

"Feifu! What is this Truth Society?" Lan Mu secretly asked Feifu.

Feifu was equally astonished. "Sorry... I... don't know."

He realized that he had made a major mistake, yet he had no idea where things had gone wrong or why those books documenting and mythologizing every supernatural phenomenon had been allowed to spread.

Feifu clearly monitored the entire Earth, yet he knew nothing about this. An outside King of Demons had even learned of it.

Lan Mu did not blame him. Teddy continued speaking.

"The many Contained Objects you possess all came from the Old Gods. They are gods who toy with the laws of the universe, countless levels above the faith gods I have encountered. The angels and the divine pantheon that the Abyss has always sought to eradicate were merely ordinary gods—or, rather, false gods."

Lan Mu said speechlessly, "And because of that, you didn't dare destroy Earth?"

Teddy said, "This involves the secrets of the Contained Objects. We lost to you entirely because of them. Those anomalous laws are Earth's most
