History

Creation and concealed origins

Pangu created the Primordial Continent from his own origin and the origins taken from the Chaos Demon Gods. Although figures such as Shi Chen and Yang Mei escaped Pangu’s creation, their incomplete origins were left inside the continent; recovering them becomes the Chaos Demon Gods’ primary reason for plotting against it. 98 137

The continent’s concealed foundation becomes a central point of conflict between the Heavenly Dao, Hongjun, the Chaos Demon Gods, and Di Jun. Hongjun regards it as his chessboard as the Heavenly Dao’s spokesperson, while Di Jun eventually consolidates and controls the continent through the Mythological System. 26 137

Battles and Great Tribulation

The Heavenly Court’s war against the Purple Mansion spreads across the continent, drawing the attention of its great powers and marking an epochal struggle for Primordial hegemony. The convergence of powerful beings causes Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire to erupt, with worlds forming amid the clash. 24

During the Immeasurable Great Tribulation, the Three Disasters of lightning, wind, and fire devastate the continent. More than a hundred million jing beings perish, over ten quadrillion gai are severely injured, and the Six Paths of Reincarnation becomes strained by the influx of divine souls. 159 160

The catastrophe spreads beyond the main world: lower realms and subsidiary worlds also generate Karmic Tribulation Qi, while more than one hundred trillion worlds fall into war. 160

When the Heavenly Dao moves to destroy the world, it identifies the Primordial Continent as the foundation and root of its domain. It intends to preserve the core continent while annihilating its affiliated worlds and inhabitants for origin. 150

Near-collapse and preservation

Conflict involving the Chaos Demon Gods, Pangu’s will, and the Three Thousand Great Daos nearly shatters the Primordial Continent. Mountains and rivers collapse, the universe fractures, and the Main World’s instability spreads through the wider Primordial Plane. 174

Despite this devastation, the continent remains stable beneath Mount Buzhou’s divine light while the surrounding Chaos suffers severe disruption. 177

Mythological consolidation

Di Jun’s control over the continent becomes explicit after he unifies its structure and makes it the effective territory of the Heavenly Court. Reincarnated Chaos Demon Gods must cultivate within the Primordial Continent and remain subject to its order. 137 141

The continent ascends to a top-tier Great Thousand plane, generating immortal-level characteristics. During this transformation, Di Jun temporarily replaces its Great Daos with a Book rune containing information on other versions of the Great Desolation across the All Heavens and Myriad Realms. 139

After Hongjun and other Primordial giants depart for the Sovereign Space, Di Jun seals the plane and freezes the avatars they leave behind, placing its remaining order under the Heavenly Court’s officials. 190

Reorganization into the Great Desolation All Heavens

Di Jun strips sections of the continent’s main world and transforms them into worlds and universes, initially threatening its rank and stability. He then uses the Mythological Seal—the core of the Mythological Imperial Dynasty—to connect crystal walls, gather its Daos, and stabilize the plane’s order. 205

The resulting structure establishes the Primordial Continent as the core and source of a renewed cosmology, with its surrounding worlds forming a hierarchy beneath its Mythological foundation. 205
