It Seems I've Been Underestimated!

Faced with Kakashi's questioning, Sasuke instinctively wanted to answer, but when he noticed the stern look in Kakashi's eyes, he immediately realized that Kakashi still had some doubts about his identity—or rather, that Kakashi had guessed something.

"I'm different from them!" After a pause, Sasuke looked at Naruto beside Kakashi. "Don't worry. I'll protect you!"

Naruto rolled up his sleeves. "I'm not scared! If they dare cause trouble in the village, I'll teach them a lesson!"

A gratified smile appeared on Kakashi's face.

That had been a sort of confession, and Sasuke's answer had satisfied him greatly.

He then ordered the ANBU guarding the cell, "By Lord Hokage's order, release Sasuke Uchiha from confinement. Execute it immediately!"

The ANBU nodded and opened the cell door.

Sasuke rubbed his wrists as he walked out of the cell. The dark eyes in his sockets had already turned scarlet. "Which Akatsuki Organization members attacked the village?"

Kakashi replied, "The six known members are Hiruko, Raiga Kurosuki, Moryo, Shennong, Sasori of the Red Sands, and Deidara!"

"Who do we deal with first?"

Sasuke knitted his brows slightly. None of these people would be easy to deal with.

Kakashi shook his head. "Our mission is to protect Naruto. He's their target! As long as Naruto remains safe, we can ensure that their plan fails!"

"Okay!"

Sasuke nodded.

Naruto looked a little disappointed. "Huh? Are we supposed to hide?"
