Arc 52The Divine Tree and the Overlord

Shinji gained Kekkei Mōra by feeding Isshiki to the Divine Tree, then prepared the Shinobi World for the Overlords’ invasion while building a research team and gathering powerful eyes. The arc ended with the Breeding Overlord’s Flesh Puppets attacking the Knowledge Tower as Shinji investigated why the Plague Overlord seemed absent.

  • Shinji captured Isshiki, took his Byakugan, and evolved it into a second Black Eye before discovering Shibai’s corpse in Daikokuten.
  • Shinji sacrificed Isshiki to the Divine Tree on T33, obtained a Chakra Fruit, and escaped as the Breeding Overlord attacked and T33’s energy was drained.
  • Shinji consumed the Chakra Fruit and advanced to Kekkei Mōra, then enlisted Amado and Orochimaru to research Shibai’s Divine Jutsu and prepare for the Overlords’ threats.
  • Shinji warned Tsunade about the invasion, subdued Ada and Daemon in Konoha, and left with them while Kabuto captured Obito and brought him to Shinji.
  • Shinji took Obito’s left Mangekyō Sharingan and used the Susanoo Lamp to evolve it, Shisui’s, and Hiruko’s Mangekyō Sharingan into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Shinji considered ways to gain more power and directed Amado to find a way to draw Ōtsutsuki to the Shinobi World, while making White Zetsu his informant and planning to guide Obito toward the Six Paths level.
  • Shinji led Arcane and the Lantern Bearers through a Space Gate to the Knowledge Tower, where they fought the Breeding Overlord’s Flesh Puppets.
  • Shinji left the battle to inspect two Contaminated Zones and found no signs of the Plague Overlord, puzzling over the apparent lack of conflict between the two Overlords.
Chapters 1297–1321 Vol. 13 Read

Ch. 1297Sealing

Shinji sealed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and withdrew with his allies, wary of Ada and Daemon’s shinjutsu. After Konoha arrived, Jiraiya fell under Ada’s Charm and invited the siblings to Konoha, while Orochimaru invited Amado to join Shinji’s side.

  • Shinji sealed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki in a scroll, checked the battlefield for signs of escape, and decided to avoid confronting Ada and Daemon until he had gained Isshiki’s powers.
  • Shinji ordered his subordinates to regroup and evacuate through Hikari’s Space Gate, leaving the unconscious Naruto for Konoha to recover.
  • Ada was angered that Shinji ignored her, while Daemon offered to teach Shinji a lesson.
  • Tsunade and Jiraiya arrived, found Naruto unharmed, and approached Ada and Daemon; Ada’s Charm ensnared Jiraiya, who invited the siblings to Konoha.
  • Orochimaru received Shinji’s instructions through Naobi and invited Amado to join them.

Ch. 1298Digging Out His Eye!

Amado considered Orochimaru’s invitation to join “A,” while Shinji secured the Flying Fortress after defeating Ōtsutsuki Isshiki. The chapter ended with Shinji releasing the captured Isshiki and gouging out his black eye.

  • Amado asked who Orochimaru represented, learned that “A” was inviting him, and requested time to settle Ada and Daemon before deciding.
  • Shinji activated the Flying Fortress’s barriers and ordered Neji and Kimimaro to confine the captured Hiruko and Ranmaru.
  • Shinji assigned the others to reinforce the fortress and thanked Karin and Hikari for their help, while warning them about the danger of relying on Karma.
  • Shinji told Shion to look after the juvenile Ten-Tails and then handled the battle’s aftermath.
  • After recovering in the central training ground, Shinji released Ōtsutsuki Isshiki from a Sealing Scroll and gouged out his black eye.

Ch. 1299Ōtsutsuki Shibai

Shinji gouged out Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s eye and used Susanoo Lamp to control its powerful Dojutsu, gaining access to Sukuna Hiko Na and Daikokuten. He retrieved a mysterious Otsutsuki corpse and research materials from Daikokuten, then learned through genjutsu that the corpse belonged to Ōtsutsuki Shibai.

  • Shinji gouged out Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s Black Eye despite Isshiki warning that transplanting it would cause interference.
  • Shinji used Susanoo Lamp to control the Black Eye, greatly amplifying his Dojutsu power, and tested Sukuna Hiko Na on a training-ground target.
  • Shinji activated Daikokuten and discovered the motionless space contained supplies, a mysterious Otsutsuki corpse, research data, and cultivation vessels.
  • Shinji removed the corpse and research materials from Daikokuten, then interrogated Ōtsutsuki Isshiki with genjutsu.
  • Shinji identified the corpse as Ōtsutsuki Shibai.

Ch. 1300Manufacturing Another Black Eye

Shinji examined Amado’s records on Otsutsuki Shibai and learned that Shibai’s Byakugan may have been the source of other dōjutsu. He took Isshiki’s remaining eye and drained Isshiki’s Chakra to evolve it into a Black Eye, leaving Isshiki unconscious.

  • Shinji studied Amado’s research on Shibai and considered whether Shibai had been killed or shed his body to enter a higher dimension.
  • Shinji examined Shibai’s corpse and found Byakugan in its eye sockets, then reasoned that other dōjutsu might have evolved from the Byakugan.
  • Isshiki broke free of Shinji’s genjutsu and warned that the Otsutsuki would return, but Shinji said he planned to sacrifice Isshiki to the Divine Tree.
  • Shinji plucked out Isshiki’s remaining Byakugan and explained that he wanted to evolve it into a Black Eye.
  • Isshiki regenerated weak Byakugan, but Shinji drained his Chakra into the eye he had taken, evolving it into a Black Eye and making Isshiki lose consciousness.

Ch. 1301Shinji's Eyes

Shinji evolved Isshiki’s Byakugan into a second “Black Eye” and found that wielding the pair greatly strengthened Daikokuten and Sukuna Hiko Na while boosting his Dojutsu. He chose most of the eyes he planned to wield with Susanoo Lamp, but still had to decide what to put in the final socket pair.

  • Shinji used Yachihoko to channel Isshiki’s Chakra into Isshiki’s Byakugan and evolved it into a “Black Eye.”
  • Shinji wielded both “Black Eyes” with Susanoo Lamp and found that they nearly doubled the Dojutsu boost, strengthened their abilities, and reduced their Chakra consumption.
  • Shinji reviewed his collection of high-level eyes and decided that the “Black Eyes” and a pair of “Tenseigan” were essential choices.
  • Shinji considered his remaining options and chose to wield a pair of “Six Tomoe Rinnegan” and Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan for its Kamui ability.
  • Shinji left one pair of Susanoo Lamp’s sockets undecided, weighing Hiruko’s Mangekyō Sharingan, Yakumo’s “Red Dragon Eyes,” and Ranmaru’s “Super Red Eyes.”

Ch. 1302Eyes Technique Selection

Shinji reviewed his many Dojutsu and planned how to expand his abilities, then took the unconscious Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to T33 for the Divine Tree. There, he discovered that the tree had grown rapidly and that the Breeding Overlord’s invasion was intensifying.

  • Shinji decided to leave the Susanoo Lamp’s final eye socket unused so he could adapt its abilities to future enemies.
  • Shinji assessed his Dojutsu and planned to keep Karin’s Tamatsukuri Spear available through Hikari’s Yachihoko.
  • Shinji extracted and sealed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s cellular tissue, then ordered Orochimaru through Naobi to hunt down Obito for his other Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Shinji carried the unconscious Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to T33 and prepared to sacrifice him to the Divine Tree.
  • Shinji saw that the Divine Tree had grown another ring and noticed a strange fragrance that suggested the Breeding Overlord’s invasion had worsened.

Ch. 1303I Can't Find Them Anymore!

Shinji learned that T33's spatial barrier would collapse within months, while his Divine Tree could benefit from the planet's destruction. In Konoha, Amado met Ada and Daemon and asked Ada to check on Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, but her Telescopic Eye could no longer find them.

  • Shinji surveyed the heaps of Flesh Puppets around the Divine Tree and learned that T33's weakening barrier would likely crack within two or three months.
  • Tsunade assigned Naruto to look after Ada and Daemon and kept them isolated in Konoha.
  • Amado told Tsunade that he had modified Ada and Daemon, then asked to take them away, but Tsunade accompanied him when he went to see them.
  • Ada chose to stay in Konoha and confirmed that she had sealed the battlefield's space so Ōtsutsuki Isshiki could not escape.
  • At Amado's request, Ada used her Telescopic Eye to search for Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, but she could no longer find them.

Ch. 1304Sacrifice

Ada's Telescopic Eye could not see Shinji in T33, while Shinji struggled against the Breeding Overlord's growing Flesh Puppets as the Divine Tree neared readiness. After destroying a colossal puppet with the Tenseigan, Shinji brought Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to the Divine Tree to sacrifice him.

  • Ada's Telescopic Eye failed to find Shinji and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, leading Amado to conclude that the ability had limits and leave Konoha without confirming Isshiki's fate.
  • Tsunade worried that Shinji might be either the light or the threat in the Great Toad Sage's prophecy.
  • In T33, Shinji used his Truth-Seeking Orbs and Limbo Clones to fight the Breeding Overlord's increasingly enormous Flesh Puppets while the Divine Tree absorbed energy.
  • After five days, Shinji returned to the Shinobi World, used Neji and Kimimaro's Tenseigan to unleash Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, and destroyed a sky-blotting Flesh Puppet.
  • Shinji brought Ōtsutsuki Isshiki out of the Sealing Scroll and prepared to sacrifice him to the Divine Tree, terrifying Isshiki.

Ch. 1305Chakra Fruit!

Shinji forced the Divine Tree to cultivate a Chakra Fruit from T33’s planetary energy while fighting off the Breeding Overlord’s Flesh Puppets. He obtained the fruit, but the sky changed and his warning lamp flashed, leaving him facing an unknown threat.

  • Shinji fed Isshiki to the Divine Tree’s bud, which began throbbing as it cultivated a Chakra Fruit.
  • The Breeding Overlord sensed the cultivation and drove its Flesh Puppets into a frenzy, so Shinji attacked them with the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
  • Shinji fought off waves of increasingly powerful Flesh Puppets and spotted an enormous one approaching the Divine Tree.
  • The Divine Tree drew away at least a quarter of T33’s energy, then opened its bud and sent a Chakra Fruit flying to Shinji, who caught it.
  • Dark clouds and a great rumbling filled the sky, while Shinji wondered whether T33’s spatial barrier had broken and his warning lamp flashed uncontrollably.

Ch. 1306The Last Feast Snatched from the Tiger's Mouth!

After nearly dying to the Breeding Overlord, Shinji realized he could not fight it and weighed leaving T33 against letting the Divine Tree absorb more energy. He escaped to the Six Rings World with the Divine Tree and Chakra Fruit after T33 sent most of its remaining energy into the tree.

  • The Lantern protected Shinji from a sudden strike by the Breeding Overlord, and he flew to the Divine Tree, recognizing the vast gap between them.
  • Shinji stored the Chakra Fruit and discovered that T33 was deliberately sending its remaining planetary energy into the Divine Tree.
  • Shinji decided to stay long enough for the Divine Tree to absorb more energy, despite the danger of the Breeding Overlord noticing him.
  • The Divine Tree absorbed nearly seventy or eighty percent of T33's energy, and the Breeding Overlord roared in fury.
  • Shinji absorbed the Divine Tree into his body, opened a spacetime portal with the Lantern, and escaped to the Six Rings World to check for contamination.

Ch. 1307Notice!

Shinji returned to the Six Rings World after escaping T33 and warned Arcane that the Breeding Overlord could track him there. He then went back to the Shinobi World to examine the Chakra Fruit and prepare to absorb it.

  • Shinji used his lantern to remove the mark the Breeding Overlord had left on him, then hurried to the Wisdom Tower.
  • Shinji told Arcane that T33 had been devoured and that the Breeding Overlord might follow him to the Six Rings World.
  • Arcane thanked Shinji for the warning and said he would contact Radiant Light, Greedy Wolf, and the other Lantern Bearers.
  • Shinji agreed to stay in the Six Rings World later, but returned to the Shinobi World to digest his Chakra Fruit first.
  • Shinji tested the Chakra Fruit in his laboratory and concluded that its power could help him advance to Kekkei Mōra.

Ch. 1308Promotion to Kekkei Mōra!

After consuming a Chakra Fruit, Shinji’s power rose to the Kekkei Mōra level, and he demonstrated his new abilities before visiting Amado’s laboratory. He told Amado he needed his help, and Amado responded with disbelief.

  • Shinji swallowed the Chakra Fruit and spent ten days digesting its energy.
  • Shinji’s Six Tomoe Rinnegan turned scarlet, and he realized his strength had advanced to Kekkei Mōra.
  • Shinji effortlessly used Black Lightning and several other chakra nature transformations, including Crystal Style and Dust Release.
  • Shinji opened a Space Gate to the former Kara Organization base, where Orochimaru and Amado were discussing Shinjutsu.
  • Shinji inspected Amado’s laboratory and told Amado he needed his help, prompting Amado to reply with a bitter smile.

Ch. 1309Researching Divine Techniques

Shinji told Amado and Orochimaru that the Overlord of Fear had targeted the Shinobi World and that it had only a few years left. He recruited them to research Divine Techniques, then revealed that the Shinobi World’s apparent peace was due to his secret efforts against the Overlord’s forces.

  • Shinji asked Amado to lead research into the Divine Techniques hidden in Otsutsuki Shibai’s corpse, and Orochimaru volunteered to help.
  • Shinji said he would assemble a team of talented researchers because he lacked time to study the corpse himself.
  • Shinji took Amado and Orochimaru to the Six Rings World and showed them a Contaminated Zone created by the Plague Overlord.
  • Shinji explained that the Six Rings World might be destroyed in about two years and that the Overlord of Fear had already targeted the Shinobi World, which had roughly two and a half to three years left.
  • Orochimaru connected the Overlord to the Upper Moon demons and the Fake 'Itachi Uchiha,' and Shinji confirmed that its forces had infiltrated the Shinobi World.
  • Amado realized that Shinji had secretly been protecting the Shinobi World from the Overlord’s invasion.

Ch. 1310Forming a Team

Shinji recruited Amado and Orochimaru to help prepare a laboratory and research team to confront the Overlord threat. He then went to Konoha to seek Tsunade’s help after learning that Mount Myōboku had received a prophecy.

  • Amado agreed to serve Shinji, and Shinji used the Lamp to cleanse Amado and Orochimaru before returning with them to the Shinobi World.
  • Shinji warned Amado and Orochimaru not to spread information about the Overlords, then tasked them with expanding Kara Organization’s laboratory and assembling a research team.
  • Amado promised to establish a new laboratory within a week, while Orochimaru offered to help recruit researchers from Shinji’s list.
  • Amado told Shinji that Ada and Daemon were staying in Konoha, so Shinji left to handle them while Amado and Orochimaru prepared the laboratory and team.
  • Shinji arrived in Konoha, secretly entered the Hokage Building, and asked Tsunade whether the Great Toad Sage had foreseen the danger.
  • Tsunade confirmed that Mount Myōboku had received a prophecy, and Shinji told her the Shinobi World was in extreme danger and that he needed her help.

Ch. 1311Making a Move!

Shinji told Tsunade about the Overlord of Fear and recruited her to support research into a mysterious Otsutsuki corpse and its Shinjutsu. He then went to collect Ada and Daemon, demonstrating his power before Tsunade stopped Konoha's Ninja from intervening.

  • Shinji explained the Overlord of Fear's threat and contamination to Tsunade, who agreed to keep the information confidential and provide researchers.
  • Tsunade agreed to join Shinji's research team studying the mysterious Otsutsuki corpse and Shinjutsu.
  • Shinji appeared at Ada and Daemon's mansion, where Naruto attacked him but was immobilized by the Imperial God Palace.
  • Shinji dodged Daemon's attack and kicked him through the mansion and into nearby trees.
  • Tsunade arrived and stopped the Konoha Ninja from investigating the fight.

Ch. 1312Overwhelming

Shinji overwhelmed Daemon and imprisoned Ada after arriving at the mansion, while Konoha’s leaders watched from a distance. He discovered how Daemon’s Killing Intent Reflection worked and showed that it could not stop him when he controlled his killing intent.

  • Shinji imprisoned Ada with Imperial God Palace and repeatedly sent Daemon flying while assessing his abilities.
  • Tsunade kept Konoha’s ninjas from approaching as Jiraiya and the elders learned that Shinji had restrained Ada and was suppressing Daemon.
  • Shinji realized Daemon’s Killing Intent Reflection required Daemon to touch his opponent with his palm.
  • Shinji let Daemon touch him, then used Kamui to become intangible and avoid triggering the reflection by controlling his killing intent.
  • Shinji ended his intangible state and slapped Daemon away, leaving Daemon shocked that his ability had failed.

Ch. 1313Subduing

Shinji discovered how Daemon’s Killing Intent Reflection worked and found a way to briefly bypass it, then defeated Daemon and took him and Ada through a Space Gate. The chapter left Konoha facing the aftermath while Naruto and Menma remained behind.

  • Shinji used Naobi and Magatsu to disrupt the Chakra connection behind Daemon’s Killing Intent Reflection long enough to strike him.
  • Tsunade and Konoha’s leaders learned that Naruto and Ada were immobilized, but decided not to approach the mansion and risk provoking 'A'.
  • After testing his method, Shinji concluded he could bypass Daemon’s reflection but could not permanently sever its Chakra connection, so he pinned Daemon with Black Rods and freed Naruto and Ada.
  • Ada pleaded for Shinji to spare Daemon, and Shinji warned the siblings not to misuse their Shinjutsu before releasing Daemon.
  • Shinji opened a Space Gate and left Konoha with Ada and Daemon, while Menma stopped Naruto from attacking him.

Ch. 1314The Trio

Obito, injured and shaken by doubts about his plans, was captured at the Akatsuki Organization base by Delta, Ranmaru, and Kabuto Yakushi. As they prepared to take him and White Zetsu away, Obito lost the will to resist, overwhelmed by the power behind A’s forces.

  • Obito treated his wounds as White Zetsu reported that Hiruko and Ranmaru had likely been taken out and several Dark Dawn members were missing.
  • Obito agreed with White Zetsu that they should keep a low profile, but Delta, Ranmaru, and Kabuto Yakushi burst into the room.
  • Delta and Ranmaru defeated the injured Obito while Kabuto stayed out of the fight.
  • Delta seized Obito, and Kabuto said he would take him back because the higher-ups wanted his Mangekyo Sharingan.
  • Ranmaru captured White Zetsu, and Kabuto decided to keep him in case the higher-ups could use him.
  • Obito heard the trio discuss their orders and gave up on resisting, despairing at the strength of A’s forces.

Ch. 1315I'm Not Like a Loser Like You

Amado convened the research team to prepare for studying a mysterious Ōtsutsuki body and its Divine Jutsu. Meanwhile, Shinji confronted the captured Obito, revealed his identity, and took Obito’s left Mangekyō Sharingan.

  • Researchers including Tsunade, Hiruko, and Scorpion reviewed the research plans as Amado warned them that the Ōtsutsuki body was extremely dangerous.
  • Amado explained that the body’s genes contained a power beyond Ninjutsu and Senjutsu, which he had named Divine Jutsu.
  • Kabuto Yakushi brought the captured Obito and the Sharingan recovered from the Dark Dawn base to Shinji.
  • Shinji demanded Obito’s left eye, and Obito asked to learn who Shinji really was before handing it over.
  • Shinji removed his mask and revealed that he was the Uchiha survivor Obito had failed to kill.
  • Obito accepted that Shinji had awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan as a child and gave Shinji his left eye.

Ch. 1316Evolution

Shinji kept Obito alive, assigned Haku and Yakumo to secure the research base, and warned them about its dangerous prisoners and researchers. At the Flying Fortress, he used Chakra Nature Transformation to evolve Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

  • Obito gave Shinji his left Mangekyō Sharingan, and Shinji ordered a Tenseigan puppet to take him away rather than kill him.
  • Shinji brought Haku and Yakumo to the containment area and put them in charge of security, warning them especially about Ada and Daemon.
  • Shinji showed Haku and Yakumo the expanding testing area and told them to watch the research team, including Amado and Orochimaru.
  • Shinji returned alone to the Flying Fortress and used the Susanoo Lamp to infuse Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan with Yin Release Chakra.
  • Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan evolved into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, and Shinji confirmed the method had worked.

Ch. 1317The Three Paths

Shinji tested whether the Susanoo Lamp could forcefully evolve Sharingan and concluded that spiritual power and will were required, making mass production of Rinnegan impractical. He then identified three remaining paths to grow stronger as he prepared for the Overlord of Fear’s arrival.

  • Shinji used the Susanoo Lamp to evolve Shisui's and Hiruko's Mangekyō Sharingan into Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, giving him three pairs.
  • Shinji infused Obito's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan with the Power of All Things, but it failed to evolve into the Rinnegan.
  • Shinji poured high-quality Yin Release Chakra into ordinary Three-Tomoe Sharingan and found that it could not force them to become Mangekyō Sharingan.
  • Shinji realized that evolving Sharingan required sufficient spiritual power and will, and he set aside his plan to mass-produce Rinnegan.
  • Shinji identified three paths to further strength: harvesting Chakra Fruits with Divine Trees, using Infinite Tsukuyomi to absorb the Shinobi World's Chakra, and collecting high-level eyes.

Ch. 1318Manufacturing a New Sacrifice

Shinji considered where to plant his Divine Tree and how to obtain another Ōtsutsuki sacrifice. He ordered Amado to lure other Ōtsutsuki to the Shinobi World and began planning to turn Obito into a sacrifice if none came.

  • Shinji rejected planting the Divine Tree in the Shinobi World because it could weaken the world’s barriers against the Overlord of Fear, and considered using the Six Rings World instead.
  • Shinji concluded that Kaguya Otsutsuki was the only suitable sacrifice currently in the Shinobi World, but hesitated to sacrifice her because it would weaken the world.
  • Shinji asked Amado whether Ōtsutsuki could contact one another, then ordered him to find a way to lure them to the Shinobi World, using Ada's Telescopic Eye if necessary.
  • Shinji decided that if he could not lure enough Ōtsutsuki, he could awaken Obito’s Rinnegan, seal the Ten-Tails cub inside him, and turn him into a new Ōtsutsuki sacrifice.

Ch. 1319Eyes Worth Collecting

Shinji planned to use White Zetsu to manipulate Obito into awakening the Rinnegan and reaching the Six Paths level, while considering other ways to strengthen his Dojutsu. At a Six Rings World meeting, the Lantern Bearers learned the Knowledge Tower was under attack by unknown creatures.

  • Shinji read White Zetsu’s memories, used Kotoamatsukami to make him an informant, and planned to guide Obito toward the Six Paths level.
  • Obito was taken from his cell for human experimentation and heard White Zetsu screaming in the laboratory.
  • At a meeting hosted by "Arcane," Shinji considered using rare eyes such as the Blue Rinnegan, Golden Rinnegan, Telescopic Eye, or Jōgan to boost his power.
  • "Arcane" reported no signs of the Breeding Overlord’s invasion, and "Greedy Wolf" Hengo wondered whether their plan had failed.
  • A mage rushed in and told "Arcane" that unknown creatures were attacking the Knowledge Tower.

Ch. 1320The Breeding Overlord Appears

Arcane and the Lantern Bearers went to reinforce the Knowledge Tower after reports of an extraordinary attack suggested that the Breeding Overlord had followed their plan to the Six Rings World. Shinji brought the group directly to the tower with a Space Gate, where they found Flesh Puppets besieging it and confirmed that two Overlords were targeting the world.

  • A messenger told Arcane that Lord Twilight Star wanted him to lead a team to reinforce the Knowledge Tower and investigate something there.
  • Alice and the other Lantern Bearers suspected that the Breeding Overlord's Flesh Puppets were attacking the tower, and they prepared for battle.
  • Arcane planned to travel through the magic array at Five Day Ridge, but Shinji opened a Space Gate and led the group through it.
  • Shinji's Space Gate delivered the Lantern Bearers directly to the Knowledge Tower despite its protective wards.
  • Shinji and the others saw enormous Flesh Puppets besieging the Knowledge Tower, confirming that the Breeding Overlord had targeted the Six Rings World as well as the Plague Overlord.

Ch. 1321Investigation

Arcane and the Lantern Bearers reinforced the Wisdom Tower against an invasion of Flesh Puppets, while Shinji investigated Contaminated Zones for signs of the Plague Overlord. He found nothing unusual and remained convinced the two Overlords could not be peacefully sharing the Six Rings World.

  • Roy led Arcane and the Lantern Bearers to a platform and explained that Flesh Puppets had overrun the outer watchtowers and reached the Wisdom Tower.
  • After a Flesh Puppet survived a mage's self-destructing magic staff, Arcane told Roy that only his group had arrived to reinforce the tower and claimed a section of the battlefield.
  • Alice transformed into a War Angel and attacked the Flesh Puppets while Hengo built a War Fortress to provide fire support, clearing their assigned section.
  • Shinji left the battlefield to investigate other areas, suspecting the Plague Overlord had also invaded the Six Rings World.
  • Shinji searched two Contaminated Zones but found no unusual signs, leaving him puzzled by the apparent lack of conflict between the Plague Overlord and the Breeding Overlord.
