As the Overlord’s invasion threatened to destroy World 4 in forty-six days, Shinji planted a second Divine Tree using the Little Ten-Tails to accelerate the planet’s energy absorption.

• Shinji read Amado’s detailed report and learned that Orochimaru had survived the ritual with Otsutsuki Shibai’s Chakra and might have mastered shinjutsu.
• Shinji learned that Ada and Daemon were monitoring Orochimaru while Amado had moved Orochimaru’s former subordinates away from the Research Institute’s main facility.

Shinji defeated Orochimaru’s newly revealed Chakra Mode with a single punch, though he recognized that Orochimaru had reached Six Paths-level combat power. Karin and Hikari had also reached the Six Paths level, while Shinji left the test intrigued by Orochimaru’s ability to manipulate his surroundings.

Otsutsuki Urashiki, Kinshiki, and Momoshiki attacked Otsutsuki Toneri on the moon while searching for Isshiki and his Chakra Fruit. Urashiki froze Toneri before he could alert the Shinobi World, and the three turned their attention toward the world below.

• Urashiki and Kinshiki confronted Toneri and demanded to know where the Divine Tree and Isshiki were.
• Toneri activated Tenseigan Chakra Mode and fought Kinshiki while trying to lure the attackers toward the Shinobi World.
• Momoshiki ambushed Toneri and demanded that he hand over Isshiki.

Momoshiki and Urashiki mistook Toneri for Isshiki’s lookout before rushing toward the Shinobi World after sensing a powerful Otsutsuki Chakra surge. At Hiruko’s ritual, he used a hidden medicine to absorb the Demon Seed and gained power beyond the instruments’ limits, only to hear an unfamiliar voice behind him.

• Momoshiki asked Urashiki about Toneri, and Urashiki guessed that Toneri was Isshiki’s chosen partner and lookout.

Urashiki appeared at Hiruko’s ritual site and fought him, absorbing and returning Hiruko’s Storm Release attack. As Hiruko’s body began to crack and the Demon Seed threatened to emerge, Tsunade and Orochimaru discovered that a second Otsutsuki was attacking the fleeing researchers.

• Urashiki appeared behind Hiruko at the ritual site, and the researchers and guards recognized him as an Otsutsuki.
• Hiruko attacked Urashiki, but Urashiki evaded him with Paper Crane Body Flicker and used his Chakra Fishing Rod to steal some of Hiruko’s Chakra.
• Hiruko unleashed Storm Release: Storm Ghost Dragon, and Urashiki absorbed the lightning with his Fishing Rod before releasing it back at Hiruko and the mountain peak.

Otsutsuki Kinshiki and Otsutsuki Urashiki attacked the Research Institute’s ritual site, overwhelming its defenders while Amado, Orochimaru, and Tsunade waited for reinforcements. Kinshiki’s Great Sword Sweep devastated the battlefield and left Kabuto Yakushi, Delta, and Ranmaru unable to fight.

• Otsutsuki Kinshiki’s sudden arrival disrupted the evacuation and split the battle, while Amado asked when reinforcements would arrive.

• Momoshiki transformed, awakened a golden Rinnegan, and snapped Karin's chains before kicking her away.
• Momoshiki demanded that Karin reveal Isshiki's hiding place, but Karin activated the Tamatsukuri Spear.

Karin and Hikari captured Momoshiki after Karin defeated him in a bafflingly one-sided fight. With other Otsutsuki threatening the Shinobi World and Toneri unresponsive, Hikari prepared to head to the Research Institute while Karin recovered.

• Karin and Hikari found Momoshiki battered and struggled to understand how Karin had defeated him.
• Momoshiki realized Hikari had been waiting nearby and wrongly believed Isshiki had arranged a trap against him.

Karin found Toneri frozen in time on the moon and realized the technique’s user might be at the Research Institute battlefield. Meanwhile, Kinshiki was overwhelmed by Haku and Daemon, and Momoshiki’s weakening chakra prompted Kinshiki to rush to his aid before the ninja ambushed him.

• Karin searched the moon for Toneri, found him trapped in a time freeze, and failed to free him.

• Haku, Daemon, and the allied ninjas bound Kinshiki, and Haku called the Sealing Team to seal him.
• Urashiki sensed Kinshiki’s defeat and, after striking at Orochimaru, opened Yomotsu Hirasaka to escape.
• Ido rushed through the portal after Urashiki, and Yakumo used Red Dragon to switch places with her before her Spirit Body collapsed.
