The Allied Forces confront a powerful impostor wielding Itachi’s techniques while the real Itachi prepares to face him and Shinji advances his plans. The arc ends with Nagato preparing to attack the Allied Forces’ headquarters as Naruto trains to master Senjutsu and a prophecy warns of an unknown evil.

• Itachi and Hiruko split up to search for Upper Moon One, and the elite squad fought a powerful Itachi impostor who defeated them and badly injured Kakashi, Sasuke, and others.
• Shinji identified the first impostor as a Fear Projection, then used Yakumo’s Blood Clone to reach Haku, Shinnō, and the ongoing battle between Shion and Moryo.
• Orochimaru fought the impostor with the Second, Third, and Fourth Hokage, but Kabuto rescued him with Reverse Summoning Jutsu as Itachi’s Susanoo overwhelmed Orochimaru’s Eight-Headed Serpent.
• Karin told the real Itachi about the impostor and lent him Sasuke’s Mangekyō Sharingan so he could fuse them into an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and confront the threat.
• Naruto grew strong enough to defeat Darui in training, while Shinji restored the Flying Fortress by sealing Zero-Tails inside its reactor.
• Nagato recovered as a miniature Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and decided to attack the Allied Forces’ headquarters, while Jiraiya learned of a prophecy about an unknown evil and a crucial “light.”
• Naruto began making rapid progress in Senjutsu training as Jiraiya and Tsunade considered him and Yakumo as possible answers to the prophecy.
• Shinji learned that Itachi had fused the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan but had not confirmed using White Zetsu Cells, and nine Akatsuki members gathered in the rain to watch the Allied Forces’ main camp.

Nagato and the Akatsuki attacked the Allied Forces, but Shinji and his allies turned the battle against them. Shinji’s fight with Nagato ended with the Ten-Tails resurrected and out of control, as both sides moved to confront it.

• The Akatsuki Organization attacked the Allied Forces’ main camp, and Nagato’s Six Paths of Pain overwhelmed the defenders while Hiruko raided the medical camp and Obito took Kakashi’s left Mangekyō Sharingan.
• The Five Kage and Jiraiya sealed Nagato’s Six Paths of Pain and Tailed Beasts, but Nagato unleashed Super Almighty Push, captured Killer B, and summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Shinji and his allies entered the battlefield, where Shinji revealed his power and challenged Nagato while his companions fought the Akatsuki members.
• Shinji battled Nagato and his Limbo shadows, then used the chakra of seven Tailed Beasts to strengthen his Susanoo against the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Nagato’s statue pierced Shinji’s Susanoo with chains and began extracting its Tailed Beast chakra, so Shinji dispelled his Susanoo and used Contract Seal: Release on Nagato.
• Obito sent Shinji and Nagato into Kamui Space, but Shinji froze Obito with Imperial God Palace as the Demonic Statue absorbed the Tailed Beasts’ chakra and transformed into the Ten-Tails.
• The uncontrolled Ten-Tails fired a Tailed Beast Ball at the fleeing Allied Forces, and Nameless deflected it with her complete Susanoo while Yakumo and the others gathered to stop the beast.

Shinji subdued the Akatsuki and became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki as the Overlord’s threats escalated. The Five Kage and Hokage battled a fake Itachi Uchiha whose power spread through the battlefield, while the real Itachi approached.

• Karin, Shion, and their allies subdued the Ten-Tails as Shinji defeated Nagato, took his Rinnegan, and forced Obito to retreat.
• Shinji released the trapped Tailed Beasts, then left the battlefield and told his subordinates about the Overlord, the fake Itachi Uchiha, and the Uchiha Clan Massacre.
• Shinji asked Tsunade to conceal his identity as Akatsuki’s 'A,' and she agreed unless he attacked a Five Great Shinobi Village without cause.
• At a snowfield, Shinji let the Ten-Tails devour the Tailed Beasts, sealed the complete beast inside himself, and gained greatly enhanced Chakra and Dojutsu.
• The fake Itachi Uchiha fought the Five Kage and Orochimaru’s forces, then faced the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Hokage after Orochimaru summoned them.
• Orochimaru summoned Madara Uchiha, who broke free of his control and joined the fight against the fake Itachi Uchiha.
• Madara overwhelmed the fake with six Complete Body Susanoo, while the First warned that the fake’s power was corroding the Hokage’s Impure World Bodies and contaminating their Chakra.
• Shinji concluded that the fake absorbed fear and contaminated those around him as the real Itachi approached the battlefield.

Shinji defeated the fake Itachi, then traveled through Lantern Bearer territory and joined Alice’s efforts to investigate the Overlords. After clearing a contaminated zone and returning home, he helped Shion study magic while his allies searched for Jigen.

• The real Itachi dragged the fake into Kamui Space, defeated him with Izanami, and gave up his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan so Shinji could pass it to Sasuke.
• Shinji learned about the Overlords and Lantern Bearers at Heimdall, bought advanced equipment, and joined Alice’s mission to place an information sphere on T33.
• On T33, Shinji recognized the Divine Tree as the Ten-Tails he had released and continued drawing energy from the doomed world while Alice’s group considered how to redirect the Breeding Overlord.
• Shinji traveled with Alice to the Six Rings World, studied its magic, and used an illusion to make Arcane’s hostile wizards leave their meeting.
• Shinji entered the Contaminated Zone alone, destroyed the meteorite at its source, and emerged as the contamination began to fade.
• Shinji returned to the Shinobi World, tasked his allies with searching for Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, and showed Shion the Magic Ring diagrams.
• Karin, Ryūsetsuna, Chiyo, Nameless, and Sasuke searched the Land of Spirits for Jigen while a black-robed figure watched them from an alley.
