After Outpost No. 11 fell, he joined Thorin’s party to investigate a dwarven ruin, where the Giant Egg inside him awakened near a corrupted archway.

• Gauss killed the Parasitic Appendage to complete the Warrior Trial, then gained the Insect Nest Consciousness Prototype Talent from his reward orb.
• Gauss returned to Stone Creek Village, reunited with his family, and reached class level 3 after testing his new Clay Spider forms.
• Gauss’s party joined the mission to investigate the Black Forest, where the Giant Egg left its grove and merged into him as the forest’s monsters pursued him.
• Gauss and his companions defended Outpost No. 11 during a Beast Tide, but Knight Commander Feren ordered a retreat as the monsters overran the camp.
• Gauss met Thorin Mountain Bronze and agreed to explore an ancient dwarven forge ruin with Thorin’s party after receiving reports on monster activity.
• Gauss and Thorin’s party fought a Plague Rat Demon Kin near Rolling Stone Village, where Gauss learned that a demon’s curse had afflicted the villagers for about a year.
• Gauss and his companions entered the dwarven workshop, took Wind Chaser, and destroyed Magic Armor Constructs contaminated by a trace of Ladug’s aura.

Gauss joined Alya, Theron, and Shadow to investigate the Black Fang Tribe and destroyed its goblin stronghold, earning major advancements and rewards. In Sena City, Shadow became an official member of Gauss Squad, while Gauss began sword training with Adele and the squad set out to take new quests.

• Gauss and Alya completed local commissions before accepting a confidential Guild mission to investigate a missing survey team and the Black Fang Tribe, with Theron and Shadow joining them.
• Gauss Squad tracked goblins through the forest, rescued wolves enslaved by goblins, and gained four pixie guides who led them to goblin camps.
• Gauss fought off a Black Fang force led by a Goblin Shaman and Goblin Bat Rider, then used a ballista and an Alchemy Bomb to destroy the tribe’s stronghold.
• Gauss unlocked the Path of the Commander and reached Class Rank 4, while Alya advanced to Level 3, and the party collected its rewards before traveling to Sena City.
• Gauss chose new spells and equipment at the Adventurer’s Guild, and Shadow accepted his invitation to become the Gauss Squad’s fourth official member.
• Adele revealed that she was a Master Swordsman, sparred with Gauss, and began teaching him the White Falcon Sword Technique after he declined her family’s marriage proposal.
• Gauss rapidly mastered Adele’s breathing method while his Swordsman class core began forming, and the squad headed to the Guild to choose quests, including one to eliminate Beach Goblin pirates near the Tidal Cave.

Gauss led his companions through sea battles, a breakthrough in Sena City, and a series of village commissions that built his reputation and helped establish Bonfire Village. After accepting a commission to investigate a vast kobold settlement beneath Brennan Great Mine, the party recruited the formidable Sif Albenna.

• Alya helped Gauss accept the Beach Goblin commission, and Gauss Squad sailed with Captain Fern aboard the Seagull.
• Gauss and his companions defeated Sandfin Mermen and Beach Goblin pirates, then returned to Sena City with valuable loot.
• Kidd Wefs failed to recruit Gauss, and Gauss trained with Rachel until he forged his Heart Sword and became a Level 2 Sword Soul.
• Gauss left Sena City with his companions to train villagers, taught Rhine magic, and gave her books and an escape amulet before departing Goat Village.
• Gauss helped villagers defeat bandits, rescued prisoners, and killed a Petrifying Bull before naming the settlement Bonfire Village.

Gauss subdued a Red Dragon Beast and brought Albenna into Gauss Squad, then traveled north to compete in the Blue Lake Grand Prix and take on new monster-hunting commissions. After rescuing Maggie from an Itk nest, he gained the Lesser Dragon Language Talent and returned her safely to her village, leaving to develop his new ability.

• Gauss's squad destroyed the Kobold lair, defeated the Dragonborn Kobold, and Gauss subdued the Red Dragon Beast before collapsing from the strain.
• After recovering, Gauss made the Red Dragon Beast part of Gauss Squad, reached Level 5, and began training it alongside Ulfhen and the other animals.
• Albenna joined the party, and the group traveled to Lakeside Town, where Gauss registered for the Blue Lake Hunt and began climbing its leaderboard.
• Gauss's squad burned out the Iron Claw Giant Crab tribe, and Gauss reached 8,000 kills and learned the Breath Casting method.
• Gauss briefly took first place in the competition before Herbert reclaimed the lead, then accepted an urgent commission to clear an Itk nest in Qingxi Marsh.
• Gauss rescued Maggie, killed the Itk and its slave spiders, and gained the Lesser Dragon Language Talent after reaching 50 Common Monster Codex entries.
• Gauss led his party to the Itk nest, where they defeated the remaining monsters and found evidence of Maggie's missing family.
• Gauss gave Maggie a Rapid Shot skill book, returned her to her village, and left with his companions to turn in the quest and develop his Draconic Talent.
