Background / History

Chi's parents died when he was young, leaving him to live alone in their house. He describes receiving two bloody forehead protectors from Danzō after their deaths; without parental support or clan attention, he grew up with limited resources and was regarded as having ordinary talent. 6 17

After receiving a System that rewards emotional reactions from people around him, Chi began deliberately cultivating relationships and provoking emotional swings for points, percentage-based damage or defense bonuses, talents, and Point Store inventory. He learned that negative emotions generally increase offense, while positive emotions increase defense. 2 4 6
