Background
Lei Wen was an ordinary person in his previous life before transmigrating to the Jade Tomb Continent. Familiar with the world’s future events and major forces, he regarded the decades before the original protagonist’s birth as an opportunity to prepare himself. 1
He was raised by the Bart family in Jade Orchid City and grew up surrounded by the support of Dao Ge/Barte Lei and Xue. Although his parents hoped his exceptional mental strength would lead him into magic, Lei Wen chose the harsher warrior path instead. 1 2 4
A faint red birthmark on the back of his left hand has remained central to his growth. It burns under strain, during spellwork, and with increasing intensity as though something ancient is sealed within it. Lei Wen ultimately identifies it as his greatest reliance, beyond his elemental talents and cultivation base. 1 12 33
Appearance
At sixteen, Lei Wen is a 1.9-meter-tall young man with a bronze, steel-tempered physique and long black hair. His build is compact rather than bulky, with every muscle described as carrying explosive strength. 11 12
- A faint red, ember-like birthmark rests on the back of his left hand. 1 12

- He can suppress his aura so thoroughly that even powerful opponents may fail to perceive his true depth. 90
- When concealing his strength, he appears as a harmless black-robed youth with jade-like skin. 90
Personality
Lei Wen is determined, self-directed, and willing to reject prestigious opportunities when they conflict with his own goals. Despite scoring super-grade mental strength, he refuses a conventional magical education in favor of physical and martial cultivation. 2 4
His pursuit of strength is intensely pragmatic. He seeks dangerous opponents, devours powerful creatures and cultivators for advancement, and prioritizes rare materials over political authority or the faith of a single empire. 33 51 58 85
He is also protective toward his family, particularly Lian Qiu. He intervenes calmly but forcefully when Moen harasses her, supports her after his breakthrough, and later warns her of the dangers involved in leaving the dungeon. 13 48 131
