It seemed the disappearance of Paradise World hadn't affected Xu Xingcheng. He was still happily bouncing around in one instance after another.
Hopefully, the next time Gu Mian ran into Xu Xingcheng in an instance, he'd explain what use the seed that Paradise World had turned into actually served. Of course, before he explained, Gu Mian would have to land a couple of punches on the evil god to avenge what had happened in Paradise World.
If Gu Mian hadn't been through so many cycles in Paradise World, he wouldn't have been so exhausted, body and mind. He'd have wanted nothing more than to jump into an instance right now and punch the evil god twice.
After the fortune teller finished the divination, she visibly relaxed, as if she'd fulfilled her duty.
But judging by Gu Mian's expression, this seemed to be only the beginning. He still had more things for her to divine.
The fortune teller asked hesitantly, "Is there anything else you want me to divine?"
Gu Mian nodded.
Actually, he wanted her to divine something about that enormous tree. But first, the tree was so abstract that even Gu Mian didn't know how to describe it accurately, and he'd have an even harder time explaining it to her. Second, he thought asking the fortune teller to divine something like that was far too much to ask. She might suddenly drop dead, coughing up blood, before she ever got an answer.
So he decided to have her divine something a little simpler.
"Could you divine where I came from, what my future will be like, and what great achievements I'll accomplish..."
