Generation

Emotion Points are produced when a being experiences emotional fluctuation toward Bo Shuo. 007 can sense these fluctuations and announces the resulting gain. Bo Shuo’s initial desire to live generates the first recorded points after 007 binds to him. 1

The quantity is not determined by fear alone. Emotion Points are explicitly treated as energy: a high-ranking existence’s minor surprise can yield more than an F-rank examinee being frightened to death. 58

• Bo Shuo deliberately cultivates an unreadable, dangerous persona because fear, suspicion, admiration, and misunderstanding produce points reliably. 2 4

Early Dungeon Survival

Emotion Points let Bo Shuo bridge the gap between his façade and his actual capabilities. He purchases temporary and permanent D-class strength, feeds 007 enough energy to produce the Dean’s “calculations,” and uses the resulting fear and devotion to continue building his reserves. 11 15 19

Confronting Higher Existences

The resource becomes indispensable after the Unknown Existence notices Bo Shuo. Its enormous emotional output keeps refilling the same reserve that 007’s automatic defense rapidly consumes, establishing that powerful entities are both the greatest threat and the richest sources of Emotion Points. 58

Inflation and Diminishing Reliance

As Bo Shuo reaches higher-level conflicts, individual gains rise into the millions and billions, but so do the costs of meaningful effects.
