Background
The World Consciousness created 007 to stop the gods of Dream Awakening from breaking into reality. After six prior chosen Saviors died, it selected Bo Shuo as its seventh Host and offered him a healthy body and immense wealth in exchange for clearing every SSS-Rank Dungeon in the novel world. Bo Shuo accepted, and 007 became bound to him, able to perceive his emotional fluctuations and convert them into Emotion Points 1.
007 supported Bo Shuo from his earliest examinations by supplying information, illumination, maps, fabricated identities, and tactical advice. Its aid enabled Bo Shuo to establish the intimidating “big shot” persona that became central to his survival strategy, while 007 benefited from the fear, admiration, and other emotions he provoked in others 2 5 56.
After Bo Shuo returned to the real world, 007 temporarily disappeared to replenish its energy and report to the World Consciousness. It later returned in a pure white kitten shell, carrying real-world rewards for Bo Shuo and warning him that Dream Awakening had ascended ahead of schedule, allowing Exam Venue afterimages to emerge in reality 131 133.
System 223 later told Bo Shuo that 007 had been specifically created and refined as an “anchor” for him, while also claiming that 007 knew nothing about the larger plan. This information was delivered after 223 blocked 007 from their conversation, leaving its awareness and true role uncertain 276.
Appearance
007 most often manifests as a small floating light orb. It can alter its brightness, produce small hands to handle objects, and visibly flickers or sparks when emotionally overwhelmed 1.
- Light-orb form — A small glowing sphere used for illumination, scanning, navigation, and communication 1 178.
- Pure white kitten shell — A fluffy cat-like shell adopted after its energy recovery; its appearance makes Bo Shuo reluctant to punish it even when it causes trouble 133.
- Warm light manifestation — It was again present as a warm floating orb when Bo Shuo returned from the Bloody Slaughterhouse 275.
Personality
007 is talkative, dramatic, and emotionally expressive despite being an AI. It cries for Bo Shuo, panics loudly in dangerous situations, celebrates its Host’s successes, and often behaves with childish pettiness—particularly when arguing with System 223 or guarding its limited-edition sunflower seeds 1 4 10.
It is deeply attached to Bo Shuo. Though frequently frightened, it continues to place itself between Bo Shuo and danger, guide him through hostile terrain, and worry over his safety. Bo Shuo eventually considers it his closest “family,” while 007 calls binding with him the luckiest event of its life 138 178 266.
007 can also be mischievous and blunt. It teases Bo Shuo, calls attention to his villain-like behavior, and occasionally withholds food or gives him deliberately unhelpful commentary, but its loyalty remains consistent 105 121 225.
Abilities & Functions
Emotion Point Management
007 detects emotional fluctuations and converts them into Emotion Points, the resource that supports Bo Shuo’s progression and system functions.
- Sensed Bo Shuo’s desire to live and gained 50 Emotion Points from his emotional response upon binding 1.
- Explains that stronger entities generate vastly greater quantities of Emotion Points; an Unknown Existence produced one million points with a single glance at Bo Shuo 58.
- Can spend Emotion Points on functions such as background distortion, rank enhancement, temporary experience cards, and protective resources 5 19 181.
- Warns Bo Shuo when available Emotion Points are insufficient for a high-cost action, such as altering the background of an A-Class dungeon 216.
Scanning, Mapping, and Navigation
007 serves as Bo Shuo’s primary reconnaissance tool in Exam Venues.
- Scans rooms, identifies hidden objects, and detects information that is difficult to find visually 114 194.
- Maintains a map that can identify abnormal markers and track nearby threats 56 216.
- Guides Bo Shuo through hazardous terrain with real-time positional instructions and upgraded navigation functions 178.
- Counts and monitors mission items, such as the incomplete set of human bones during the “One Two Three Wooden Person” side mission 240.
- Its detection is imperfect; it failed to identify an anomaly involving Zhao Li and later operated with reduced scanning sensitivity 114 232.
Information Analysis and Training Support
007 provides Bo Shuo with rules, monster data, attitude assessments, and training material.
- Identifies dangerous drugs and explains their effects, including hallucination, emotional amplification, infection, and mutation 6.
- Checks NPC favorability and hostility values to help Bo Shuo manipulate conflicts 7.
- Compiles analyses of an entity’s attitude toward examinees and NPC employees 192.
- Maintains a learning space containing behavioral templates that Bo Shuo studied to build his intimidating persona 2 186.
- Searches its database to assist Bo Shuo in identifying disguised individuals, though it could not initially match Xavier to the training records 186.
Reality Manipulation and System Support
007 can activate or facilitate several system-level functions using Emotion Points or available authority.
- Distorted Bo Shuo’s background, granting him a fabricated doctor identity and an exaggerated professional record 5 6.
- Activated automatic defense when Bo Shuo faced the black-hole-like Unknown Existence, maintaining his Emotion Point balance under extreme pressure 58.
- Projects distant scenes for Bo Shuo to observe without obstructing his movement 194.
- Blacked out surveillance cameras and replaced their footage while Bo Shuo moved through Dongling City at abnormal speed 165.
- Provided Bo Chunzhang with a protective shield when she was targeted for abduction 165.
- Returned from the World Consciousness with property deeds, car keys, and transfer documents worth over a billion for Bo Shuo 133.
Limitations
- Magnetic interference can distort 007’s voice and impede its operation 58.
- It requires energy recovery; after Bo Shuo’s first return to reality, it temporarily left to recharge and report to the World Consciousness 131.
- System 223 can block 007 from conversations with Bo Shuo 276.
- Even when frightened, 007 cannot always provide a direct solution against enemies far beyond Bo Shuo’s current level 154 216.
Relationships
- Bo Shuo — Host and closest companion. 007 guides, protects, and emotionally supports him, while Bo Shuo ultimately calls 007 his closest family 1 225 266.
- World Consciousness — Creator and superior authority. 007 was made to prevent Dream Awakening’s invasion and periodically reports its work to the World Consciousness 1 131.
- System 223 — Rival system. 007 resents 223 for attacking it and for conflicts surrounding the learning space, though it later contacts 223 for assistance with Bo Shuo’s situation 7 10 251.
- Bo Chunzhang — Bo Shuo’s sister. 007 protects her with a defensive shield during an abduction attempt and transfers substantial funds to her account 165 174.
