Arc 3The Jinlu River Hunt

Tamura Hiroshi strengthened his ties with Black Zetsu and the Third Raikage while using the chaos of war to acquire new powers and eliminate Konoha pursuers. After the battle at Jinlu River, Black Zetsu stole the Hyuga clan’s hidden treasures and planned to seek Hamura’s bloodline on the moon.

  • Tamura Hiroshi and Black Zetsu created a concealed space for the Kaguya Phantom, built a Little Ten-Tails from God Tree remains, and agreed to pursue their plans against the Sage of Six Paths.
  • Tamura Hiroshi earned the Third Raikage’s trust, learned of the war’s widening fronts, and discovered that Kumogakure researcher Dr. Os carried Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s chakra in a Cursed Seal.
  • Tamura Hiroshi helped Karura recover from her injuries and brought her to his apartment, where she chose puppet legs and discussed whether war could be avoided.
  • Black Zetsu gave Tamura Hiroshi Uchiha heritage and Sharingan, which the Little Ten-Tails absorbed alongside the Sword of Totsuka’s Dojutsu Power.
  • Tamura Hiroshi traveled to Jinlu River with Fukai and Uzumaki Tamayou, where they found Uchiha Hikari sealed among the bodies and Tamura Hiroshi killed four Konoha patrol members.
  • Tamura Hiroshi awakened abilities from Uchiha Hikari’s Mangekyo, then the Third Raikage killed Hizashi Hyuga and took his Byakugan as Konoha’s search party closed in.
  • Tamura Hiroshi and the Third Raikage defeated the remaining pursuers, and the Little Ten-Tails absorbed Hyuga bodies to gain Byakugan abilities.
  • Hizashi Hyuga gouged out his own eyes to protect Hiashi’s position as heir, while Black Zetsu stole the Hyuga clan’s hidden treasures and planned to seek Hamura’s bloodline on the moon.
Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51Kaguya's Consciousness

Tamura Hiroshi had Black Zetsu create a hidden sealing space in his body and transferred the Kaguya Phantom into it, strengthening her. He questioned Black Zetsu’s plan to revive Kaguya and sought other ways to build power, ending by proposing a plan to obtain Nine-Tails flesh and blood.

  • Tamura Hiroshi asked Black Zetsu to create a concealed sealing space, and Black Zetsu carved a Yin-Yang Release seal into his abdomen.
  • Tamura Hiroshi transferred the Kaguya Phantom into the space, where she grew more solid and gained control of it; Black Zetsu recognized her as his mother.
  • Tamura Hiroshi warned Black Zetsu that the Sage of Six Paths might still be alive and could be watching his plan to use Madara Uchiha to awaken the Rinnegan.
  • Tamura Hiroshi asked Black Zetsu to help him surpass the Sage of Six Paths and provide God Tree branches and Tailed Beast chakra; Black Zetsu agreed to send branches and explained that ordinary Nine-Tails chakra would not improve his perception.
  • After Black Zetsu explained that only the Nine-Tails’ Origin Power could enhance Good-Evil Perception, Tamura Hiroshi proposed targeting the Nine-Tails during its transfer from the First Hokage’s wife with help from the Third Raikage and Kumogakure.

Ch. 52Black Zetsu Went Lame

Tamura Hiroshi told Black Zetsu about his firearms plan and warned that the Sage of Six Paths and the Ōtsutsuki Clan could threaten their effort to rescue Kaguya. After studying Black Zetsu’s intelligence, Tamura suspected the Sage was hiding in the Pure Land and urged Black Zetsu to watch the Uchiha clan for signs of Indra’s next reincarnation.

  • Tamura Hiroshi explained that Kumogakure’s mass-produced firearms could be strengthened with elemental Ninjutsu and used to build an army.
  • Black Zetsu approved the firearms plan and warned Tamura that the God Tree could draw hostile Ōtsutsuki to the world.
  • Tamura argued that Kaguya was vulnerable in combat and proposed secretly preparing a backup plan while Black Zetsu pursued his own scheme.
  • Black Zetsu transferred his intelligence on the Five Great Ninja Villages to Tamura, who connected the First Hokage, Tobirama Senju’s Impure World Reincarnation, and Madara Uchiha’s Rinnegan to the Sage of Six Paths’s plans.
  • Tamura concluded that the Sage might be hiding in the Pure Land and warned that Indra’s next reincarnation could require an Uchiha with an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
  • Black Zetsu agreed to keep watch over the Uchiha clan.

Ch. 53Bloodline Route

Tamura Hiroshi learned from Black Zetsu that he could cultivate chakra nature transformations and fuse them into stronger bloodlines, potentially building power beyond his Lightning Release. After Tamura sent the Little Ten-Tails to consume Uzumaki remains, its growth strengthened both it and the Kaguya Phantom, and he accepted his alliance with Black Zetsu and Kaguya.

  • Black Zetsu delivered the God Tree remains and a White Zetsu, helping Tamura Hiroshi create a Little Ten-Tails with improved chakra simulation.
  • Black Zetsu explained that Tamura could fuse chakra natures into new bloodlines, cultivate all seven forms of chakra power, and develop beyond his existing Lightning Release.
  • Tamura asked about the Third Raikage’s Black Lightning, and Black Zetsu said it represented an early stage of Lightning Release cultivation.
  • Black Zetsu urged Tamura to have the Little Ten-Tails consume Uzumaki corpses to strengthen its Origin Power, then left the Sealing Space.
  • Tamura connected the Little Ten-Tails to the Uzumaki burial mound, allowing it to consume bloodline power and helping the Kaguya Phantom grow more solid and spiritual.
  • Tamura decided he was comfortable siding with Black Zetsu and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya rather than the Sage of Six Paths.

Ch. 54Adamantine Sealing Chains

Tamura Hiroshi tested the Ten-Tails’ new Adamantine Sealing Chains and discussed the spoils from the battle with Yozuki A. He arranged to learn Uzumaki Sealing Techniques after returning to the village and asked what they had learned about young talents from other villages.

  • Tamura Hiroshi revealed the Ten-Tails’ Adamantine Sealing Chains, then knocked out Uzumaki Kushina when she approached him and returned her to the ruins’ caretakers.
  • Yozuki A gave Tamura Hiroshi a scroll containing the battle’s bodies and Danzo’s arm, and reported that they had captured Iwagakure commander Gari.
  • Yozuki A explained that Gari knew Iwagakure secrets, including that Roshi had been sent to the Land of Whirlpools as the Four-Tails Jinchuriki.
  • Yozuki A credited Tamura Hiroshi with an S-rank mission contribution and agreed to arrange Sealing Technique lessons for him, including study that could help him learn the chakra-storing Yang Seal.
  • Tamura Hiroshi showed his early progress in Lightning Release Nature Transformation and asked whether they had found information about talented young shinobi in other villages.

Ch. 55Minato Namikaze

Tamura Hiroshi and Yozuki A discussed the strengths of other villages before joining the Third Raikage’s war council. The council decided to send Sarutobi Shinnosuke to Sunagakure, while Tamura considered how to ensure he could never return to Konoha.

  • Yozuki A told Tamura Hiroshi about notable shinobi from other villages, including Minato Namikaze, whom Tamura suspected had an impressive lineage.
  • Yozuki A brought Tamura Hiroshi to the Third Raikage’s tent to hear the council’s final discussion.
  • Dodai proposed sending Sarutobi Shinnosuke to Sunagakure with the bodies of fallen Konoha shinobi, while another council member favored Iwagakure.
  • The Third Raikage chose to send Sarutobi Shinnosuke to Sunagakure, partly because he wanted the Senju clan to perish in the coming war.
  • Tamura Hiroshi considered maiming Sarutobi Shinnosuke so he could not return to Konoha.

Ch. 56The Hokage Has a Headache

The other great villages declared war on Konoha after the Land of Whirlpools conflict, while Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō scrambled to contain the scandal over the Uzumaki clan and Danzō’s Sharingan. Mito Uzumaki rejected their excuses and declared that the Uzumaki clan’s alliance with Konoha was over.

  • The Third Kazekage sent forces toward Konoha’s border, Iwagakure dispatched an army, Kumogakure strengthened its defenses, and Hanzo of the Salamander declared war on Konoha.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi confronted Shimura Danzō over the failed mission, the exposed Sharingan, and the pressure from Konoha’s clans.
  • Shimura Danzō claimed that the eye beneath his bandages was a Ketsuryūgan, giving the leaders a way to deny Kumogakure’s accusations.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō went to the Senju Clan Land to meet Mito Uzumaki.
  • Mito Uzumaki ordered Konoha to remove the Uzumaki symbols and declared that the Uzumaki clan was no longer Konoha’s ally.

Ch. 57Hokage's Killing Intent

Mito Uzumaki questioned whether Hashirama’s village system had brought peace as the Second Great Ninja War loomed. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō negotiated with Uchiha Retsuyō, then planned to reinforce the failing Land of Rivers front while Hiruzen turned his anger toward the Raikage and the Uzumaki.

  • Mito Uzumaki reflected that the village system had failed to prevent war and feared the Uzumaki clan would not be the last victim.
  • Uchiha Retsuyō identified Shimura Danzō’s transplanted Ketsuryūgan as newly implanted and demanded the return of Uchiha Sharingan held by the Senju and their allies.
  • Shimura Danzō agreed to return some Sharingan, while keeping valuable eyes for research, and he and Hiruzen Sarutobi left the Uchiha Territory.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi told Shimura Danzō to take command on the Land of Rivers front, and Danzō requested Ino-Shika-Cho support and said he would bring Orochimaru.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi resolved to seek the Ino-Shika-Cho clans’ aid and privately vowed vengeance against the Raikage and the Uzumaki.

Ch. 58The Little Boat of Friendship Capsized

Shimura Danzō recruited Orochimaru to transplant a Swift Release ninja’s arm and offered him access to research on the First Hokage’s cells. Danzō also tried to turn Orochimaru against Hiruzen by suggesting Hiruzen was grooming a gifted child to become the next Hokage.

  • Shimura Danzō met Orochimaru at the Root Base and offered him a chance to research the First Hokage’s cells in exchange for restoring Danzō’s strength.
  • Orochimaru examined a captive Swift Release ninja and demanded access to Sharingan research as an additional reward.
  • Shimura Danzō agreed to Orochimaru’s terms, and Orochimaru promised to transplant the arm and give it some of Swift Release’s power.
  • Shimura Danzō told Orochimaru that Hiruzen might not recommend him for the Fourth Hokage and pointed out that Hiruzen had chosen Jiraiya to mentor an exceptional child.
  • Shimura Danzō concluded that Hiruzen was preparing the child to become the next Hokage, deepening his resentment and suspicion.

Ch. 59Shifting Blame to Danzo

Shimura Danzō recruited Orochimaru by offering him research opportunities and support on the front lines. Meanwhile, Black Zetsu stole the Uchiha Clan’s stockpile of Sharingan and planned to frame Shimura Danzō before heading toward Kumogakure.

  • Shimura Danzō persuaded Orochimaru to cooperate by promising him First cells, Sharingan, and prisoners of war for experiments.
  • Orochimaru accepted Shimura Danzō’s invitation and looked forward to researching the powers he was offered.
  • Uchiha Retsuyō stored the Sharingan sent by Shimura Danzō in the clan’s secret grounds and reflected on the clan’s history and Madara Uchiha’s eyes.
  • Black Zetsu entered the secret grounds, stole the Sharingan, and planned to make Uchiha Retsuyō suspect Shimura Danzō.
  • Black Zetsu used a summoned rabbit to reunite with his main body, then headed toward Kumogakure while postponing his attempt to take Hashirama Senju’s corpse.

Ch. 60First Appearance of Kara

Tamura Hiroshi discovered that Dr. Os carried a hidden Cursed Seal bearing Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s chakra, suggesting Kara had infiltrated Kumogakure’s research efforts. After warning Dodai and discussing the threat with Yozuki A and Fukai, Tamura visited the badly injured Karura in the hospital.

  • Tamura Hiroshi sensed a disturbing presence around Dr. Os, who led Kumogakure’s Chakra Cannon research, and Dodai arranged to have him secretly brought in.
  • Tamura examined Dr. Os and found a covert Cursed Seal in his brain that carried Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s chakra.
  • Dodai ordered everyone to keep the discovery secret and said he would report it to the Third.
  • Tamura Hiroshi, Yozuki A, and Fukai discussed the hidden threat and then set out to train harder.
  • Tamura visited Karura in the hospital and brought her flowers, fruit, and Eight Treasure Porridge, but she remained despondent over her severe injuries.

Ch. 61Nature Revealed

Tamura Hiroshi pushed the despairing Karura to accept a future for herself, then used Uzumaki blood to heal most of her injuries. He left with her after deciding that restoring her remaining damage would require Yang Power.

  • Tamura Hiroshi tried to comfort Karura by describing the First Hokage’s self-healing, then threatened to expose her condition to her family when she lost hope.
  • Karura agreed to make puppet prosthetic legs and work in Tamura Hiroshi’s shop after he told her he had already learned Sunagakure’s secrets.
  • Tamura Hiroshi forced Karura to drink treated blood from an Uzumaki corpse, and it healed her injuries except for her missing legs.
  • Karura vomited after absorbing the blood’s life force, while Tamura Hiroshi removed her bandages and considered using Yang Power to help her recover further.
  • Tamura Hiroshi gave Karura water, cleaned the room, and prepared to take her to complete her discharge procedures.

Ch. 62The Path of Endurance Shattered

Tamura Hiroshi brought the scarred Karura to an apartment building he had bought and helped her regain some confidence by giving her sand to cover her body. As Karura questioned the purpose of ninja and war, she asked Tamura Hiroshi whether war could be avoided.

  • Tamura Hiroshi brought Karura to his apartment building, showed her a collection of damaged puppets, and let her choose puppet legs.
  • When Karura removed her bandages and despaired at her scars, Tamura Hiroshi barged into the bathroom and pretended to photograph her to deter her from harming herself.
  • Tamura Hiroshi gave Karura a bottle of sand she had refined, and she used it to cover her scars and restore her familiar appearance.
  • Karura explained that she had rescued both Sunagakure ninja and Uzumaki Ninja because she believed the invasion was wrong.
  • Tamura Hiroshi described how competing interests and different perspectives led to war, and Karura asked whether war could be avoided.

Ch. 63Nameless Weapon

Tamura Hiroshi explained that lasting peace required unifying the Ninja World through strength and strict laws, then uncovered signs that Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was alive and asked Black Zetsu about an ancient Uchiha weapon. Black Zetsu agreed to investigate Kara and help pit Isshiki against the Sage of Six Paths, but the location of the weapon Nameless remained unknown.

  • Tamura Hiroshi argued to Karura that only unification backed by strength and strict laws could end the Ninja World’s wars, then told her to recover and work at his store.
  • Tamura Hiroshi trained with the Sword of the Thunder God before waking to find Black Zetsu and a scroll containing Uchiha Clan heritage.
  • Tamura Hiroshi told Black Zetsu that a Kumogakure researcher carried Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s chakra in a Cursed Seal, and Black Zetsu concluded Isshiki had survived through an incomplete Kāma.
  • Tamura Hiroshi suggested using Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to draw the Sage of Six Paths into a conflict, and Black Zetsu agreed to investigate Kara and other scientific research forces.
  • Tamura Hiroshi asked Black Zetsu where the Uchiha’s ancient Mangekyō weapon Nameless had fought after hearing about it in Enma’s memories.

Ch. 64Uchiha Hikari

Tamura Hiroshi learned that the Uchiha had five Mangekyō pairs and that Mito Uzumaki could wield all nine Adamantine Sealing Chains, while Black Zetsu explained how chakra and bloodline hierarchy shaped power. Black Zetsu left to investigate scientific research forces, while his hidden split body watched Tamura Hiroshi and approved of his resolve to rescue their mother.

  • Black Zetsu identified Uchiha Hikari as a failed experiment and warned Tamura Hiroshi about Uchiha Naori, the strongest of the five Mangekyō users.
  • Black Zetsu said Mito Uzumaki could use all nine Adamantine Sealing Chains, and Tamura Hiroshi recognized her as far stronger than ordinary Mangekyō users.
  • Black Zetsu explained that chakra and inherited bloodlines determined power, then suggested Tamura Hiroshi might have been shaped to resist Ōtsutsuki bloodline suppression.
  • Black Zetsu reminded Tamura Hiroshi that the sealing scroll contained the Sword of Totsuka and left to investigate scientific research forces.
  • Tamura Hiroshi privately complained about Black Zetsu's appearance, while Black Zetsu's hidden split body heard him and resolved to help him rescue their mother.

Ch. 65The Evil Behind the Shinobi Plan

Tamura Hiroshi examined the Uchiha heirlooms Black Zetsu had delivered and discovered that the Sword of Totsuka held a vast store of ancestral Sharingan power. He purified the Kaguya Phantom and Little Ten-Tails by removing their negative energy, then planned to use that energy to draw Lord Danzo into his scheme and set out to investigate Uchiha Hikari.

  • Tamura Hiroshi opened the scroll and found hundreds of preserved Sharingan alongside the Uchiha Clan’s heirlooms.
  • Tamura Hiroshi identified the gourd as the physical Sword of Totsuka and stored it and the Sharingan in his sealing space.
  • The Little Ten-Tails absorbed the Sharingan and drew a massive supply of Dojutsu Power from the Sword of Totsuka.
  • Tamura Hiroshi separated the Kaguya Phantom and Little Ten-Tails’ negative energy and sealed it inside the Sword of Totsuka, leaving their Sharingan bright red.
  • Tamura Hiroshi considered using the negative energy and one of Lord Danzo’s arms to transform Lord Danzo into the embodiment of shinobi evil.
  • Tamura Hiroshi decided to investigate whether Uchiha Hikari was still alive so he could obtain her Mangekyo power and techniques.

Ch. 66Desire to Progress Too Much

Tamura Hiroshi persuaded Third Raikage to let him search Jinlu River for the sealed Mangekyō Sharingan’s remaining Dojutsu Power, demonstrating that he could gain Sharingan abilities through his connection to Little Ten-Tails. With Fukai, three ANBU, and Uzumaki Tamayou as escorts, he set out for the Land of Fire by a concealed sea route.

  • Tamura Hiroshi asked Third Raikage for permission to search Jinlu River for the Dojutsu Power of Uchiha Hikari’s Mangekyō Sharingan, but Third Raikage initially refused because the journey was dangerous.
  • Tamura Hiroshi demonstrated his newly acquired Sharingan and explained that he had gained its power by having Samehada swallowed and sealed within him, leading Third Raikage and Dodai to accept his explanation.
  • Tamura Hiroshi argued that Uzumaki Tamayou’s Mind’s Eye of the Kagura and a quick search would limit the risks, and Dodai supported the plan.
  • Third Raikage ordered Fukai to take three ANBU and escort Tamura Hiroshi to Jinlu River, while ensuring his safety.
  • Fukai chose three ANBU from the Yozuki clan, and the group set off by ship, planning to enter the Land of Fire from the south while Tamura Hiroshi trained his Lightning Release on the voyage.

Ch. 67Reverse Four Symbols Sealing

Tamura Hiroshi and his group found a Senju corpse sealed beneath a river in the Land of Fire and released the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing. Among the released bodies, they discovered a still-breathing young woman, who awakened and used Tsukuyomi as they prepared to capture her.

  • Tamura Hiroshi and the others traveled through the Land of Whirlpools and searched the upper reaches of the Jinlu River for the sealed site.
  • Uzumaki Tamayou sensed Senju chakra beneath a riverbend and identified the seal as the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing.
  • The ANBU ninja retrieved a stone-like Senju corpse from the river, and Uzumaki Tamayou released the seal, spilling out mud, rocks, water, and several corpses.
  • Tamura Hiroshi recognized Senju and Sarutobi clan crests among the bodies and ordered Uzumaki Tamayou to seal the surviving young woman's chakra.
  • The young woman opened her eyes and used Tsukuyomi on the group.

Ch. 68Uchiha Hikari

Tamura Hiroshi captured the exhausted Uchiha girl after her Tsukuyomi ended, then helped Uzumaki Tamayou attempt to save her with a heart transplant. As four enemy ninja approached, Tamura went to confront them alone.

  • Tamura Hiroshi forced the girl to release Tsukuyomi, and Fukai and the others recovered from its effects with severe headaches.
  • The girl’s Mangekyo overtaxed her body until her heart stopped, so Tamura Hiroshi asked Uzumaki Tamayou to replace it with Senju Tobirama’s heart.
  • Uzumaki Tamayou began the transplant using a Shadow Clone while warning that one chunin and three genin were approaching.
  • Tamura Hiroshi entered the woods, drew on the Little Ten-Tails and the Kaguya Phantom, and prepared to fight the approaching squad.

Ch. 69Blade Slays Inuzuka (Fifth Update)

Tamura Hiroshi ambushed a Konoha patrol led by an Inuzuka Clan shinobi and killed the team, using his Sharingan, Chakra Threads, and prepared traps to prevent them from signaling for help. He erased the evidence and left the area without revealing more about himself.

  • The Inuzuka captain and his Ninja Dog tracked a blood drop and detected Tamura Hiroshi, who attacked and killed two Genin before killing the third with his blade.
  • Tamura Hiroshi redirected the captain’s signal flare with Chakra Threads, then used a fake explosive-tag threat to stop the captain from reuniting with his Ninja Dog.
  • The captain tried to reach a signal flare while his Ninja Dog blocked Tamura Hiroshi, but Tamura Hiroshi cut the dog down and the captain’s damaged flares failed to launch.
  • Tamura Hiroshi trapped the captain with an Adamantine Sealing Chain and killed him after disabling his remaining weapons.
  • Tamura Hiroshi sealed the bodies in storage scrolls, removed bloodstained ground, erased tracks, and neutralized the smell of blood.

Ch. 70Ōnamuchi and Yachihoko

After returning from eliminating a Konoha patrol, Tamura Hiroshi and his allies rested while he harvested new Mangekyō abilities from Uchiha Hikari. He left Uchiha Hikari with the Yachihoko seal to purify her chakra and redirect the chakra she used, advancing his plan to evade the Sage of Six Paths’ influence.

  • Tamura Hiroshi returned to Fukai and the others after killing the four Konoha patrol members, warning that they had only about a day before reinforcements might find them.
  • Fukai explained that Uchiha Hikari had survived surgery while Uzumaki Tamayou had collapsed from the memory shock of a dispelled shadow clone, so Tamura Hiroshi took watch as the others rested.
  • Tamura Hiroshi extracted Uchiha Hikari’s Mangekyō power and refined it with the Kaguya Phantom and Little Ten-Tails, awakening Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Yachihoko, and Ōnamuchi abilities between them.
  • Tamura Hiroshi used Yachihoko on Uchiha Hikari, extracting and purifying her chakra before returning it to her and setting her ninjutsu chakra to flow back to the Little Ten-Tails.

Ch. 71Hyuga Brothers

Hyuga Hiashi led Hizashi Hyuga and Inuzuka Sho to investigate the disappearance of Inuzuka Jin, following the enemy’s trail until it was lost at a river. Tamura Hiroshi then sensed the six pursuers approaching and realized three of them had chakra on par with elite Jonin.

  • Hyuga Hiashi learned that Inuzuka Jin had gone missing and decided to lead a search party despite Hizashi Hyuga’s warning.
  • Hyuga Hiashi, Hizashi Hyuga, Inuzuka Sho, and three Hyuga clansmen found the battle site and followed the fresher trail.
  • The group lost the trail at a river, returned to the branching point, and continued along the other route.
  • Tamura Hiroshi detected the six Konoha pursuers, including three whose chakra rivaled elite Jonin.
  • Fukai questioned why Konoha had three elite Jonin in the area and suspected their presence was no coincidence.

Ch. 72Summoning the Raikage (Eighth Update)

Tamura Hiroshi’s group discovered that Hizashi Hyuga’s pursuers were protecting a Hyuga Main Family member, so they summoned the Third Raikage to seize his Byakugan. The Third Raikage arrived and took Hizashi’s eyes, while the Hyuga tried to flee with the young clan leaders on a summoned eagle.

  • Tamura Hiroshi identified the pursuers as Hyuga Ninja and sent a message to the Third Raikage requesting support.
  • Dodai pinpointed the group’s location, and the Third Raikage used the Heavenly Transfer Technique to reach the Land of Fire.
  • The Third Raikage raced along the Jinritsugawa River and blinded Hizashi Hyuga before removing his Byakugan and preserving them in a nutrient jar.
  • Hizashi Hyuga suspected that their intelligence had been leaked, while a Hyuga Jonin summoned Blackwing to carry the two young clan leaders away.
  • The Third Raikage charged after Blackwing as Fukai and the others threw Kunai at the eagle.

Ch. 73Re-Slaying the Inuzuka (Ninth Update)

Tamura Hiroshi pursued Inuzuka Sho and fought him in a life-or-death battle while Fukai watched. Hiroshi defeated Sho’s ultimate technique, but the fight left Sho dead and his Ninja Dog badly wounded.

  • The Third Raikage knocked out three Hyuga Ninja and watched Black Wing carry two people into the sky.
  • Tamura Hiroshi chased Inuzuka Sho into the woods, where Fukai intercepted Sho and let Hiroshi face him alone.
  • Inuzuka Sho and his Ninja Dog attacked Hiroshi with Fang Over Fang, but Hiroshi used his enhanced vision and Twin Blades to wound them.
  • Inuzuka Sho transformed with his Ninja Dog into a two-headed wolf and unleashed Fang Wolf Fang.
  • Hiroshi pierced a wolf head with Big Meow, causing the attack and transformation to collapse; Sho died, the Ninja Dog was badly wounded, and Hiroshi was thrown into a tree without injury.

Ch. 74Devouring Byakugan

Tamura Hiroshi used the Little Ten-Tails to devour three Hyuga Ninja and gained a basic Byakugan ability, while discovering that their souls carried powerful chakra linked to the Caged Bird Seal. He planned to pursue swordsmanship training in the Land of Iron after improving his sealing and Lightning Release skills.

  • Tamura Hiroshi sent the bodies of a slain Ninja Dog and its master to the Sealing Space for the Little Ten-Tails to devour.
  • The Third Raikage gave Tamura Hiroshi three Hyuga Ninja bodies after explaining that Kumogakure had already exhausted its research into the Caged Bird Seal.
  • The Little Ten-Tails devoured the Hyuga Ninja, including their souls, and caused the Kaguya Phantom and itself to develop Byakugan eyes with powerful green chakra.
  • Tamura Hiroshi tested his new ability and found that he could see distant details, including veins in leaves up to a hundred meters away.
  • Tamura Hiroshi told the Third Raikage he planned to study swordsmanship in the Land of Iron after making progress in Sealing Techniques and Lightning Release Ninjutsu.

Ch. 75Stealing the Hyuga Clan's Home (Eleven Updates)

After the Third Raikage escaped with Hiashi Hyuga’s Byakugan, Munemasa Hyuga arranged a replacement pair for his eldest son and forced Hizashi Hyuga to surrender his own eyes to preserve the clan’s succession. Black Zetsu secretly stole the Hyuga Clan’s stored Byakugan and planned to obtain Hamura’s descendants on the moon next.

  • The Third Raikage returned to the Land of Lightning by sea while Hiashi and Hizashi returned to the Hyuga Clan Compound.
  • Munemasa told Hiashi he would receive a pair of ancestral Byakugan and ordered Hizashi to stay behind.
  • Munemasa explained that the Cloud shinobi’s use of the stolen Byakugan could harm the village, then Hizashi gouged out his own eyes to protect his brother’s position as heir.
  • Munemasa entered the Hyuga Clan’s hidden ground and took his great-grandfather’s exceptionally pure Byakugan for Hiashi.
  • Black Zetsu’s clone secretly entered the hidden ground, stole all the stored treasures, and used Summoning Technique to rejoin his main body.
  • Black Zetsu planned to obtain the main branch of Hamura’s bloodline on the moon after Madara Uchiha awakened the Rinnegan and summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
