History

Qian Xunji’s Tenure

Qian Xunji took Bibi Dong as his disciple and prepared her to inherit the office. During Ye Qinghe’s body swap with the eighteen-year-old Holy Maiden, Qian Xunji approved the punishment of Yu Xiaogang, interpreting her apparent decisiveness as evidence that she was developing the judgment of a ruler 36 42.

In the earlier era revisited through Ye Qinghe’s time travel, Bibi Dong repeatedly pressed for the Clear Sky Sect’s destruction. Qian Xunji refused to authorize the attack. Ye Qinghe proposed engineering a confrontation in which Tang Hao would severely wound the Supreme Pontiff, giving Spirit Hall a reason to declare war. Bibi Dong and Ling Yuan later arranged a trap that drew Qian Xunji into combat with Tang Hao and Tang Xiao 274 292 295 332 333.

Bibi Dong’s Tenure

Bibi Dong recalled that Qian Xunji passed the office to her ahead of schedule in the year he married Huang Yueyao and she became a Titled Douluo. She also remembered annihilating the Clear Sky Sect as a means of forcing his abdication and convincing Qian Daoliu. The sect’s destruction established her reputation as the foremost figure in the Soul Master World 80 87 197.

Her reign expanded the Supreme Pontiff’s direct support among Spirit Hall’s elders and revived the plan to seize Heaven Dou. Her relationship with Ye Qinghe became an open secret among the upper ranks, but neither Qian Daoliu nor Qian Xunji pressured her over it because it did not harm Spirit Hall’s interests 133 193.

Transfer to Qian Renxue

After Qian Renxue returned as the Angel God, Bibi Dong immediately relinquished the office to her. The assembled members of Spirit Hall, including the six enshrined present, knelt in recognition without objection. Bibi Dong considered her own reasons for seeking the throne fulfilled: the Clear Sky Sect had been destroyed, and she had achieved godhood so she could remain with Ye Qinghe 322.
