Background

Tang Wulin was sent from the God Realm to Douluo Star by his biological father, Tang San, so that he could contain and awaken the Golden Dragon King's bloodline. The bloodline repeatedly endangered his life, while Tang San's divine sense—known to Tang Wulin as “Old Tang”—could take control of his body. 23 38 55

He initially trusted Chen Ye as his boss and followed his guidance after learning that the Golden Dragon King power inside him could become fatal. Chen Ye repeatedly extracted the bloodline's power and later gave Tang Wulin a Bloodline Awakening Potion. 30 31

The potion awakened the Clear Sky Hammer and transformed his Blue Silver Grass into the Blue Silver Emperor. Tang Wulin willingly allowed Chen Ye to take the Golden Dragon King power, believing that he could still become strong with his two awakened martial souls and Chen Ye's protection. 31 32
