Background / History

Tang San's Divine Sense resides within Tang Wulin and is initially exposed after the attack by Zhou Changxi's dream-entering phantom. He reveals himself to Chen Ye through Tang Wulin's body, establishing that Tang Wulin is not merely acting under an external influence but is being possessed by the hidden Tang Godking. 38

Chen Ye blames Tang San for Tang Wulin's endangerment and challenges his claim over the boy, declaring himself a better father figure. Tang San's attempts to control Tang Wulin and use mental attacks are hindered both by Chen Ye's resistance and by Tang Wulin's body rejecting that control. 39

Tang San later attacks Chen Ye directly with spiritual power and attempts to kill him while controlling Tang Wulin. Chen Ye's third martial soul freezes Tang Wulin and forces Tang San to relinquish control. 54

When Chen Ye interferes with the past and removes the Golden Dragon Spear from the Emperor Auspicious Beast, Tang San senses the disturbance but cannot locate its source. The possibility that history has changed leaves him confused and fearful for his own past. 89 91

Seventh Seal Battle

When Tang Wulin's Seventh Seal is opened, Tang San takes control and confronts Chen Ye with the Sea God Trident. He uses Unfixed Storm and attempts to seize Wang Dong'er, but Tang Wulin turns against him and Chen Ye ultimately acquires the Trident. 157 158 159 160 161

God Circle Conflict

After the God Circle arrives in the Pegasus Star System, Tang San confronts Guan Yue and Wang Dong'er, then faces opposition from Chen Ye's side during the wider conflict. Weakened by the loss of the Golden Trident, he is overwhelmed by Wang Dong'er and Leng Yaozhu before the God Circle is drawn toward a black hole. 228 229

Tang San continues fighting in the aftermath, joins other God Kings against Gu Yue, and returns to the Douluo God Realm to recover and stabilize the God Circle. He is later confronted there by Tang Wulin. 231
