Bull Demon King was one of six powerful Demon Realm figures compelled by Zhe Xingsun to become his sworn brothers. Zhe Xingsun bestowed on him the title Great Sage Who Pacifies Heaven. The oath predated Zhe Xingsun’s suppression beneath the Five Elements Mountain. 564 630

He is recognized as a Demon Realm Venerable and the Old Ancestor of the Mang Niu clan. When reincarnation emerged from the Dead Land, he sought an opportunity there but judged himself unable to contend for it. 628

Bull Demon King encounters Lu Cailing and Ao Wushuang after they flee the emptied ghost realm. He brings them to the Demon Race’s grand assembly for rebuilding the Demon Land and promises to help Lu Cailing recover the Ancestor Demon Stone Tokens. 628

At the Heavenly Dog Clan gathering, he presses Gou Suichi to surrender the clan’s two Stone Tokens. Through his intervention, Lu Cailing ultimately obtains all seven, which merge and reveal the message: “You Yixi arrives at Yun Ci.” 632
