Liao Wu defeated Kinkaku and Ginkaku, took most of their Six Paths Ninja Tools, and discovered the Amber Purifying Pot was in Kumogakure. Minato rescued the brothers with a Shadow Clone, and Liao Wu left with Candy to capture Killer B and Yagura at the Toad Stone Forest.

• Liao Wu overwhelmed Kinkaku and Ginkaku, absorbed their Nine-Tails Chakra, and took four Six Paths Ninja Tools, though the Amber Purifying Pot was missing.
• Liao Wu concluded that the Third Raikage had taken the Amber Purifying Pot to seal the Eight-Tails and examined the tools Candy had collected.
• Liao Wu found the Uchiha Stone Tablet among the brothers' possessions and demanded to know how they had obtained it.
• Minato attacked Liao Wu with a Shadow Clone, then rescued Kinkaku and Ginkaku when Liao Wu struck the clone.

Mount Myōboku’s Toad Grand Chant disabled most of the invaders, allowing the Ninja Alliance to counterattack and kill Kisame and Fish Ball. Enraged by the Ninja Cats’ deaths, Ryobu transformed into a Demon Cat and began slaughtering the Alliance’s forces.

• Sage Shima used Toad Grand Chant to control most of the invaders, leaving Liao Wu, Madara, and Satoru conscious but weakened.
• Tobirama rallied the Ninja Alliance, and Juzo killed the helpless Kisame before the Alliance attacked the controlled forces.
• Juzo killed Fish Ball, who was Reverse Summoned to Hozuki Castle, where the Grass Village ninjas panicked at the returning Ninja Cat casualties.
• Ryobu grew furious as his Ninja Cats died, sent a Spore Clone to protect Candy, and transformed into his Demon Cat form.
• Ryobu decapitated more than a dozen Jonin and killed Gama Hiro by destroying his heart from within.

Madara sealed the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which contained seven Tailed Beasts, into his body and gained a partial Six Paths Mode despite the Toad Grand Chant’s suppression. The battle turned against the alliance as Madara unleashed Tengai Shinsei.

• Liao Wu defeated Killer B and Yagura, then sent them underground in a Spore Clone to Madara while Minato and the others arrived at the slaughtered battlefield.
• Minato left to retrieve the Amber Purifying Pot, and Kinkaku and Ginkaku prepared to hold off Liao Wu.
• Madara used Super Shinra Tensei to repel the attackers, then pulled Killer B and Yagura to him and sealed their Tailed Beasts into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• The Fourth Raikage and Third Raikage attacked Madara, but the Demonic Statue seized and swallowed them, absorbing their chakra.

Hashirama arrived at Mount Myōboku with the complete Six Paths Power and destroyed Madara’s meteorite, then challenged him to stop the slaughter. As Madara and Hashirama began fighting, Black Zetsu and Kaguya attacked the Waterfall of Truth, while Kushina persuaded the Nine-Tails to help her.

• Hashirama destroyed Madara’s meteorite with a Truth-Seeking Orb and faced him in the sky.
• Hashirama demanded that Madara stop killing, but Madara insisted on taking the Two-Tails and Nine-Tails, and the two charged at each other.
• At Turtle Island, Black and White Zetsu infiltrated the Waterfall of Truth as the command center received reports of devastating losses.
• Black Zetsu and Kaguya killed the guards at the Waterfall of Truth and prepared to take the Two-Tails and Nine-Tails.
• Kushina’s Senjutsu-enhanced sealing restrained the Nine-Tails, who agreed to help her defeat Madara but promised to seek his freedom afterward.

Black Zetsu revealed that Madara had manipulated events to make Obito embrace the Moon Eye Plan, then possessed Kakashi and forced him to kill Rin. The chapter ended with Rin dying in Kakashi's arms as Obito watched.

• Black Zetsu told Obito that Madara had arranged for him to be crushed at Kannabi Bridge and planned to make Kakashi kill Rin to drive Obito toward the Moon Eye Plan.
• Black Zetsu explained that Madara intended to seal the Three-Tails inside Rin and send her against the Leaf Village, but Liao Wu's Forbidden Technique disrupted the plan.
• Black Zetsu detached from White Zetsu and possessed Kakashi, who severed Obito's hand with Chidori.

Obito awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after witnessing Rin’s death, and Black Zetsu demonstrated Kamui while controlling Kakashi. Obito fought back but struggled to strike Black Zetsu without harming Kakashi, until Kushina arrived in Kurama Mode and rescued him and Rin’s body.

• Obito awakened his right Mangekyō Sharingan as his left Sharingan advanced to three tomoe, while Kakashi’s transplanted eye showed the same Mangekyō pattern.
• Black Zetsu used Kakashi’s Kamui to wound Obito and send him into another dimension, but Obito escaped using his own right-eye Kamui.
• Obito hesitated to attack because Black Zetsu controlled Kakashi, and Black Zetsu exploited the hesitation to strike at Obito.
• Black Zetsu targeted Rin’s body, forcing Obito to become solid as he tried to take her into Kamui Space.

Kushina tried to heal Rin after Kakashi killed her, but Nine-Tails confirmed she was beyond saving. Obito stopped Kakashi from taking his own life and, after accepting that Madara had manipulated him, remembered a technique that might bring Rin back.

• Black Zetsu fled Kakashi's body, and Kaguya escaped when Kushina arrived.
• Kushina poured Nine-Tails Chakra into Rin, but Nine-Tails stopped her because Rin was dead.
• Obito despaired over Rin's death, while Kakashi blamed himself for killing her with Chidori.
• Kushina slapped Obito and Kakashi before leaving with Yugito to join the fight against Madara.
• Kakashi tried to kill himself, but Obito took his Kunai and confronted him about Rin.
• Obito realized Madara had engineered Rin's death and remembered a technique that might bring her back.

Obito decided to seek Madara’s Rinnegan to revive Rin while Candy and her allies searched for a way to revive the fallen Ninja Cats. Liao Wu infiltrated the Great Toad Sage’s temple and found the Great Toad Sage turned into a stone statue.

• Obito told Kakashi that the Rinnegan’s Reanimation Technique could revive Rin, and the two considered taking Madara’s Rinnegan.
• After the Toad Grand Chant ended, Candy learned that Mount Myōboku’s Sage Talisman paper could revive Fish Ball, Nekomata, and the other dead Ninja Cats, so she sent Ryobu Spore to find it.
• Minato tried to capture Ryobu with the Amber Purifying Pot, but Ryobu ripped off his arm before Kushina arrived in Kurama Mode and knocked Ryobu away.
• Liao Wu’s Spore Clone searched Mount Myōboku for Sage Talisman paper, learned the Great Toad Sage alone knew how to make it, and headed to the temple to confront him.
• Liao Wu entered the Great Toad Sage’s temple and discovered that the Great Toad Sage had become a stone statue.

Liao Wu discovered that the Great Toad Sage had given all his Sage Chakra to Hashirama and died, then learned how Mount Myōboku made Sage Talisman paper. After mastering Mount Myōboku's Sage Mode and Candy began collecting the Toad Oil, Liao Wu sensed the battle elsewhere and saw enemies converging on him.

• Liao Wu found the Great Toad Sage turned to stone, and Toad Jade explained that the Sage had transferred all his chakra to Hashirama before dying.
• Liao Wu hypnotized Toad Jade to learn that Sage Talisman paper was made by soaking Chakra Paper in Toad Oil, then destroyed the Great Toad Sage's statue.
• After Kushina sent Liao Wu crashing into the oil pool, he used the Toad Oil to master Mount Myōboku's Sage Mode, while Candy collected the oil in the Amber Purifying Pot.
• Liao Wu sensed Madara overpowering Hashirama and the Ninja Alliance, while Sasori joined the fighting after Satoru protected him from the Toad Grand Chant.
• Liao Wu sensed Obito and Kakashi heading toward Madara, and sent a clone to protect Mikoto and Itachi on Turtle Island.

Ryobu fought Kushina and Yugito at Mount Myōboku after draining its oil pool, while Minato warned them about Ryobu’s time-stopping space-time Dojutsu. The battle left the Toad Stone Forest destroyed, and Kushina and Yugito faced Ryobu’s enhanced Susanoo.

• Ryobu rejected Kushina’s plea and offered her and Yugito a chance to submit, but Yugito transformed into the Two-Tails and attacked him.
• Ryobu blocked Yugito’s Fire Rat Ball with his complete Susanoo, then hurled a lightning spear at her.
• Kushina’s Nine-Tails shielded Yugito from the spear and kicked Ryobu’s Susanoo through the giant toad statue, wrecking the Toad Stone Forest.
• Ryobu had Candy teleport the filled Amber Purifying Pot away, then infused senjutsu into his Susanoo as Kushina and Yugito infused it into their Tailed Beast forms.
• Minato warned Kushina and Yugito that Ryobu’s space-time Dojutsu could stop time for one second, enough to defeat them.

Liao Wu’s confrontation with Yugito and Kushina was interrupted when Hashirama and Madara’s clash devastated the battlefield, and Hashirama joined the alliance against Madara. As dawn neared, the assembled fighters considered sealing Madara with the Reaper Death Seal, while Kaguya and Black Zetsu waited for the moon to rise.

• Hashirama and Madara crashed into battle, and Kushina caught the injured Hashirama and restored him with Nine-Tails chakra.
• Kurama argued with Hashirama about his past imprisonment, while Kushina explained that Kurama was drunk and the Two-Tails urged them to focus on Madara.
• Hashirama welcomed Kushina as family and lamented the destruction of the Land of Whirlpools, while Tobirama vowed to find those responsible for the Uzumaki Clan’s extermination.
• Tobirama gathered the Third Hokage and other allies inside the Nine-Tails’ energy body to plan how to defeat Madara.

Kushina revealed that the Reaper Death Seal could trap Madara's soul at the cost of the caster's life and afterlife, and Tobirama organized a plan for the Third Hokage to use it. As Madara demanded the remaining Tailed Beasts, Liao Wu kept quiet about the sealing plan and hoped the Ninja Alliance would stop him.

• Kushina explained the Reaper Death Seal's power and costs, alarming Orochimaru and the Nine-Tails.
• Minato offered to sacrifice himself, but the Third Hokage stopped him and insisted that protecting the village and its next generation was a Kage's duty.
• Tobirama planned to bring the Third Hokage close to Madara during the battle and have him unleash the Reaper Death Seal while Madara was distracted.

Jiraiya worried about the battle at Mount Myōboku from his cell while Konan and Nagato refused to release him. On the battlefield, Madara killed Ōnoki, leaving Hashirama grieving as the decisive fight continued.

• Jiraiya asked Konan and Nagato about the battle, learned that Hozuki Castle's Ninja Cats had suffered heavy losses, and pleaded to join the fight.
• Konan refused to let Jiraiya leave, and Dan also worried about the Ninja Alliance and the Leaf Village.
• Satoru and Sasori joined Liao Wu's side as the surviving Ninja Cats returned to Hozuki Castle and Hashirama summoned the Senju Great Buddha to fight Madara.
• Madara and Hashirama clashed while Liao Wu and Kushina's Nine-Tails fought as their mounts, and Madara used Shinra Tensei to knock away the Two-Tails.
• Ōnoki attacked Madara with Dust Release, but Madara's Limbo Shadow pierced his chest and killed him.

Liao Wu summoned the Senju Great Buddha and used it to attack the Nine-Tails and Two-Tails while Hashirama and Madara continued fighting. Minato, Kushina, and the tailed beasts counterattacked, ending with a massive Tailed Beast Ball detonating on Liao Wu’s Susanoo atop the Buddha.

• Tobirama urged Hashirama to focus on killing Madara, while the others helped the Third Hokage prepare the Reaper Death Seal; Satoru evaded Might Duy’s Eight Gates attack and bound him with feathers.
• Sasori’s Human Puppets fought Kinkaku and Ginkaku, while Rōshi and Han battled Hozuki Gengetsu and mourned Ōnoki’s death.
• Minato and Kushina helped the Nine-Tails evade Liao Wu’s Susanoo and strike him with a Flying Thunder God-assisted kick, enraging Liao Wu.
• Liao Wu summoned the Senju Great Buddha at Mount Myōboku and prepared to use it against the Nine-Tails and Two-Tails.

After the giant Tailed Beast Ball destroyed much of Mount Myōboku, Liao Wu survived and watched as Hashirama and Tobirama tried to trap Madara with the Third Hokage’s Reaper Death Seal. Madara saw the Shinigami with his Rinnegan and stopped the seal with a Limbo Shadow.

• Itachi and Mikoto took shelter on Turtle Island while the survivors gathered the fallen after the blast shook Mount Myōboku.
• Kushina thought the explosion had killed Liao Wu, but Minato and the Nine-Tails warned her that Liao Wu had survived in his Susanoo.
• Hashirama marked Madara with Tobirama’s Flying Thunder God seal, then Tobirama brought the Third Hokage in to use the Reaper Death Seal.
• Hashirama warned that Madara could see the Shinigami because of his Six Paths Power.
• Madara used a Limbo Shadow to catch the Shinigami’s hand and revealed that he had recognized the Reaper Death Seal.

Madara tried to stop the Third Hokage's Reaper Death Seal while pursuing him and Minato across the battlefield. After absorbing Kinkaku and Ginkaku for their Nine-Tails Chakra, Madara faced the Nine-Tails and Two-Tails, where Kushina's Sage Art: Adamantine Sealing resisted his Statue Locks.

• Madara's Limbo Shadow seized Tobirama, but Minato rescued the Third Hokage and fled with him as Madara pursued them.
• Hashirama and other fighters tried to block Madara, who knocked them aside with Shinra Tensei.
• Madara captured and absorbed Kinkaku and Ginkaku, gaining another Truth-Seeking Orb.

• Madara sent a Limbo Shadow to seize Yugito and the Two-Tails, but Obito used Kamui to twist apart the Statue Lock and pull them into the Kamui Space.
• Black Zetsu realized Obito and Kakashi had used their Dojutsu to save the Two-Tails, while Kaguya blamed Black Zetsu for allowing Obito to awaken Kamui.
• Madara turned his Limbo Shadow against the Nine-Tails, knocked it down, and prepared to absorb it with the Statue Lock.
• Obito emerged from space and charged Madara, revealing his Mangekyo Sharingan and accusing Madara of killing Rin.

Obito, Minato, Kakashi, the Third Hokage, and the Tailed Beasts used the Reaper Death Seal to pull Madara’s soul and the Tailed Beasts from his body. Madara resisted, but Hashirama joined the struggle, and Shukaku and Three-Tails broke free as the fight continued.

• Obito used Kamui to bring the Third Hokage, Minato, Kakashi, and Two-Tails behind Madara, allowing the Third Hokage’s Shinigami arm to seize Madara’s soul.
• Black Zetsu freed Liao Wu, who pretended to rush to Madara’s aid while secretly welcoming Madara’s predicament.
• Madara fought the Reaper Death Seal, but Nine-Tails, Two-Tails, and the others helped the Third Hokage pull his soul out while Hashirama protected him from Madara’s Limbo Shadow.
• The Shinigami began tearing the Tailed Beasts from Madara, and Madara released Shukaku before it could be sealed; Shukaku fled the battlefield.

Madara began losing the struggle against the Ninja Alliance, but Tobirama summoned Uchiha Izuna with Impure World Reincarnation to make him surrender. Izuna’s appearance briefly shook Madara, but Black Zetsu convinced him that Izuna had been controlled, and Madara renewed his assault as Tobirama ran out of options.

• Liao Wu summoned a Senju Great Buddha to help Madara, but the Ninja Alliance and Mount Myōboku’s toads joined Hashirama and weakened him.
• Madara overtaxed his eyes and life force to summon three more Limbo Shadows, threatening to overwhelm the alliance.
• Tobirama brought Izuna, Fugaku, and Shisui to the battlefield, and Izuna urged Madara to abandon the Moon Eye Plan.
• Madara faltered at Izuna’s words, allowing the alliance to pull the Four-Tails, Five-Tails, and Six-Tails from him.

Liao Wu used Time Stop to steal Madara’s Rinnegan, leaving Madara vulnerable to the Shinigami. Hashirama tried to stop Madara’s sealing, but Tobirama pulled him aside and Madara was sealed, vowing to return.

• Liao Wu activated Time Stop, gouged out Madara’s Rinnegan, and fled with them as the Limbo Shadows vanished.
• Obito and Kakashi pursued Liao Wu to recover the Rinnegan, while Orochimaru and the others also chased after him.
• Sasori fled with his Human Puppets, and Tobirama urged Hashirama to let the Shinigami seal Madara.
• Tobirama pulled Hashirama’s hand aside, and the Shinigami dragged Madara’s soul from his body.

The Ninja Alliance destroyed the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and Madara was sealed, but Black Zetsu escaped with Madara’s corpse while Liao Wu fled with the Rinnegan. Obito and Kakashi confronted Liao Wu, who seized Kakashi by the throat and challenged Obito.

• The tailed beasts destroyed the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and the Shinigami took the dying Third Hokage’s soul after he said farewell to Asuma and the others.
• Tobirama warned Hashirama that Liao Wu and the undestroyed Rinnegan remained threats, then the brothers left to pursue him.
• Black Zetsu possessed Madara’s corpse and escaped underground, while Minato and Kushina failed to track him with Sage Mode.
• The Third Raikage appointed Yugito the Fifth Raikage as she mourned the Fourth Raikage and Killer B.

• Ryobu released Kakashi after Obito begged him, but Minato, Kushina, Hashirama, Tobirama, five Tailed Beasts, and several Impure World reincarnations arrived and blocked his escape.
• The Nine-Tails questioned Ryobu about collecting Tailed Beast Chakra, while Tobirama and Hashirama demanded the Rinnegan so they could revive the dead.
• When the others refused to let Ryobu keep the Rinnegan, he used Time Stop to swap Kakashi for Kushina and controlled her with a Spore.
• Ryobu threatened to kill Kushina and her unborn child, but Tobirama and Kushina insisted he could not escape and demanded the Rinnegan.
• Ryobu held out the Rinnegan in his palm as Hashirama aimed a Truth-Seeking Orb at him.

Liao Wu escaped after Hashirama sealed his Chakra, while Kakashi saved one Rinnegan with Kamui. Obito decided to use the eye to revive the dead, and the chapter ended with Hashirama praising him.

• Liao Wu wrapped the Rinnegan in an Explosive Tag, used Time Stop to escape, and was struck by Hashirama's Truth-Seeking Orb, which sealed his Chakra.

• Hashirama took Madara’s Rinnegan from Obito, transplanted it, and promised Obito that he could become Hokage.
• Hashirama mastered the Rinnegan’s techniques and prepared to use the Reanimation Technique, while Tobirama mourned his brother’s impending sacrifice.
