Chaotic Ensemble

Xia Lin tore open the last Mass Resist Sonic scroll. Magic light once again enveloped everyone and their summoned creatures. This was the ninth spell they had cast on the group.

"All right, the gold's been spent." Xia Lin gave his longsword a shake, and the Flame Enchantment flared along its blade. "Now let's show them what we paid for! Follow my orders. Skeletons and golems in the first wave, animal friends in the second. Move out!"

At his command, the motley army surged forward.

Battle erupted in an instant.

Eight Skeleton War Captains led the charge. They ignored the venom and spores sprayed by the plants entirely. With immunity to poison and mind-affecting effects, they were perfect cannon fodder.

Several Oddish cast Entangle Spell. Countless roots burst from the ground and wrapped around the skeletons' legs.

So what?

The undead didn't care that their movement was restricted. They simply swung their swords, again and again, until they hacked the enemies before them to pieces.
