| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mortal Realm → Transcendence Realm | 92 124 | Transcendence Realm members are said to control fire. Ordinary Red Feather members average roughly 70 years of life; reaching Transcendence can extend this to 150 years, but is normally their racial limit. |
| Ancient Bloodline Awakening | 124 | A rare special awakening that may occur while advancing to the Transcendence Realm. The awakened Saint Son or Saintess gains a human-like form, red wings, greatly increased strength, and an exclusive bloodline inheritance cultivation method. |
| Heavenly Human Realm potential | 124 | Only Saint Sons and Saintesses can cultivate beyond Transcendence through their bloodline inheritance. A Heavenly Human Realm Red Feather expert could challenge the Four-Armed Giant Tribe’s rule of Fangzhang Island. |
| Divine Might Realm | 519 | By this point, the tribe is reported to possess Divine Might Realm experts, all of whom emerged after the Red Feather Tribe joined the Starry Kingdom. |
Appearance
Ordinary Red Feather Tribe members have slender, human-like bodies with four limbs, bird-like heads, and bodies covered in red feathers. They average about 1.9 meters in height. Despite their feathers, ordinary members have no wings and cannot fly 34 92.
- Bird-like head and human-like physique.
- Red feather covering.
- Taller and more slender than most humans.
- Ordinary members cannot fly.
- Awakened Saint Sons and Saintesses instead resemble humans and possess large red wings 124.
Abilities & Traits
Flame Power
Transcendence Realm Red Feather members can wield fire power 92.
- They can temporarily unleash internal flame power to boost their strength.
- Excessive use damages the user’s foundation and accelerates aging 126.
- Red Feather Tribe Players have demonstrated aerial fireball attacks in later campaigns 391.
Ancient Bloodline
The tribe’s most closely guarded racial secret is the ancient bloodline that can produce a Saint Son or Saintess 124.
- The awakening chance is extremely low; one may not appear for centuries.
- Awakened members gain red wings and the ability to fly.
- Their strength surpasses that of ordinary Transcendence Realm experts.
- Their inherited cultivation method cannot be learned by ordinary Red Feather Tribe members.
- The Four-Armed Giant Tribe considers such individuals a threat and previously killed a Red Feather Saint Son more than two centuries earlier 124.
Hidden Race Conversion
After the Red Feather Tribe joined the Starry Tribe, it became an unlockable hidden race for Players 196.
- Players at level 11 can seek Saintess Hong Yuhan to convert.
- Conversion is irreversible.
- Converted Players gain a human-like body and red wings rather than the ordinary bird-headed form.
- They lose the Human Race talent All-System Mastery and can only learn Intelligence Class skills and Red Feather Tribe-exclusive skills.
- Su Ziye was the first Player to convert; she gained flight and the talent Flame Master, which increases fire-element spell power by her current level percentage and may grant a fire skill upon leveling up 225.
Territory and Population
Red Feather City
Red Feather City, located on Fangzhang Island’s eastern coast, is the tribe’s ancestral settlement and main base 124.
- It was one of only two cities on Fangzhang Island, alongside the Four-Armed Giant Tribe’s Iron Wall City.
- The city was built through the efforts of multiple Red Feather generations.
- Its stone walls are over five meters high; its north and south gates are over three meters tall.
- Before the Snake People siege, the tribe numbered more than 2,000 members 124 152.
- Nearly every adult male was considered a warrior, excluding the elderly, women, and children 149.
History
The Red Feather Tribe was the strongest race in eastern Fangzhang Island and protected weaker local tribes in exchange for tribute. The Baimu Tribe was among those under its protection 6 34. Like the other major island races, it was subordinate to the Four-Armed Giant Tribe in the central region and had to pay tribute to survive 34.
When conflict escalated between the Baimu Tribe and the Snake People Tribe, a group of ten Red Feather envoys arrived to mediate. Their captain, Hong Yu Kang, dismissed Baimu Sheng’s warning that the Snake People intended to invade as absurd 92.
Siege of Red Feather City
The Snake People Tribe soon attacked Red Feather City with 3,000 Snake People Warriors and 3,000 Auxiliary Army soldiers. Hong Yuxuan led the defense alongside elder Hong Yucheng and the secretly concealed Saintess, Hong Yuhan 124.
The tribe initially expected the Four-Armed Giant Tribe to enforce island law and send aid. However, the leadership feared that revealing Hong Yuhan would invite the giants’ intervention against them, as the Saintess could eventually grow into a Heavenly Human Realm threat to their rule 124 182. Hong Yuhan ultimately revealed herself to save her grandfather and drive back the Snake People Auxiliary Army 126.
Alliance with the Starry Tribe
Hong Yu Feng approached the previously unknown Starry Tribe for assistance. Lin Feng dispatched 473 Players under Wind Wolf’s command to support Red Feather City, establishing the two tribes’ first meaningful alliance 148. The reinforcements annihilated more than 300 Porcupine Tribe interceptors with fewer than ten losses before reaching the city 153.
The Red Feather Tribe was deeply affected by the Human Race Warriors’ willingness to fight and die for a tribe they barely knew. During the defense, Red Feather warriors interpreted the Players’ fearlessness as conviction-driven courage and came to regard them with reverence 154 159. The Snake People suffered severe losses and temporarily withdrew after the battle 161.
Evacuation and Flight
As the city’s defense deteriorated, Hong Yuxuan arranged for every child under fifteen to be evacuated to the Starry Tribe, viewing them as the tribe’s remaining hope should Red Feather City fall 166. I Shoot You Innocent escorted the group—twenty adults and more than 300 children—through a secret passage outside the city 168 173.
The evacuees survived attacks by cultivation-using humans and pursuing Four-Armed Giant Tribe warriors. Rather than abandon I Shoot You Innocent when he delayed the giants, Red Feather warriors prepared to return and fight beside him, declaring through their actions that the tribe would not leave an ally behind 170 175. The entire tribe later abandoned Red Feather City and reached Starry Valley under Hong Yuxuan and Hong Yuhan’s leadership 195.
Joining the Starry Tribe
Lin Feng offered the Red Feather Tribe equal membership in the Starry Tribe rather than vassal status, along with a Mortal Realm cultivation method suited to their race. Hong Yuxuan and his people agreed after a brief internal discussion 196.
Their formal accession increased the Starry Tribe’s Player cap by 1,000 and unlocked the Red Feather Tribe as a hidden Player race 196. Once the situation allowed, the tribe chose to return to its homeland in Red Feather City 224.
Starry Kingdom Era
Hong Yuxuan and Hong Yuhan stood among the Starry Tribe’s principal NPC representatives during the founding of the Starry Kingdom 371. In later wars, Red Feather Tribe Players became a major airborne component of the kingdom’s forces, using flight, fire attacks, and aerial mobility against enemies across the Three Islands of the East Sea and the Agate Coast 391 418 452 473 519.

Trivia
- Red Feather City was considered Fangzhang Island’s second-largest city solely because the island had only two cities 124.
- The Red Feather Tribe was the first hidden race that Players could freely choose after meeting its level requirement; the earlier Werewolf hidden race depended on chance at character creation 196.
- The tribe’s red wings made its hidden-race conversion especially popular among Players, with more than 600 Red Feather Tribe Players among a later 5,000-player pioneer force 392.
