History

Tribal Origins

The kingdom’s predecessor grew from the Human Tribe led by Lin Feng after its former leader died in a Jackalmen attack. Lin Feng’s Human Race Rising system connected him to Blue Star, where he presented participation in the Savage World as a virtual game 1.

As the Starry Tribe, the faction supported Red Feather City against the Snake People Tribe. Its first relief force comprised 473 Players led by Wind Wolf; the arrangement supplied the Red Feather Tribe with defenders, rewarded Players with experience and points, and secured food for the Starry Tribe 148.

The tribe subsequently assembled Players and native warriors against a coalition of the Four-Armed Giant, Minotaur, and Guan tribes. It later occupied Iron Wall City and expanded across Penglai Island. The Bright Lion Tribe’s defeat brought new subjects into the faction rather than the extermination its king had warned them to expect 201 238 299 332.

Founding the Kingdom

After the unification of the Three Islands of the East Sea, NPCs led by Ying Zhan and Ying Yi asked Lin Feng to establish a kingdom. He accepted and scheduled the ceremony for one month later 352.

The founding celebration took place in Qingqiu City. Lin Feng appeared in black armor rather than ceremonial robes to signify that the faction still needed vigilance and the will to fight. After declaring the kingdom established, he convened its first general meeting in Qingqiu Palace and appointed its principal officials 370 371.

Agate Coast Campaign

The kingdom prepared its continental expedition with industrial, agricultural, and commercial development assisted by Xia Country experts. Three warships carried 5,000 Players and native contingents toward the Agate Coast 373 381 383.

The Demon Ape Tribe supplied local intelligence and a territorial claim, allowing the kingdom to present its intervention as more than an unprovoked land seizure. Its declared campaign against the Fire Elephant Tribe cited that tribe’s invasions and massacres, including the destruction of the Human Race’s Flying Eagle Tribe 383 397 477 480.

The Titan Empire demanded either the kingdom’s submission as a vassal or its withdrawal from the Agate Coast. Lin Feng continued the campaign; ten coastal cities fell before the final attack on Lava City 423 424.

Shadow Spirit War

The Starry Kingdom declared war on the Shadow Spirit Kingdom for invading Blood Cloud City with 100,000 troops and enslaving humans. Player forces continued attacking through the night and spread toward multiple cities, including the royal capital 462 471.

The conquest took three days. It secured thirty-two cities and rescued more than 1.3 million humans, but approximately 200,000 enslaved humans died during the war. The kingdom also captured more than 1.5 million Shadow Spirit Race members and over 1.1 million members of affiliated races 474 476.

The former Shadow Spirit territory became Dawn Province, with its renamed capital, Dawn City, serving as the kingdom’s temporary capital. Resettlement, household allocation, education, and public construction became immediate priorities 476 477.

Titan Empire War and Integration

The Titan Empire initially underestimated the kingdom while occupied with its own war against the Holy Spirit Empire. By the time it attacked, the Starry Kingdom had spent more than four months strengthening its Players and NPCs 490 492.

The kingdom’s counteroffensive expanded its territory to twenty-seven provinces in ten days. Further advances met resistance from late-stage Divine Might Realm experts, prompting continued military escalation and new administrative arrangements 519 520.

Phantom Mech-equipped NPCs reinforced the kingdom against later Titan attacks. The revelation that the Phoenix Race and Wutong Empire had already joined the kingdom broke the Titan elders’ remaining confidence, and the Titan Empire surrendered 546 547 548 555 557.

Integration required taking over cities, suppressing resistance, and reassuring inhabitants. Lin Feng distributed this work through event quests. After three months, the former empire’s territories and cities were under Starry Kingdom control, though its official name had not yet changed to an imperial title 558 559.

Continental Unification and Beyond

Lin Feng next targeted the Holy Spirit Empire, using the pursuit of a wanted Shadow Spirit criminal as a pretext. His stated strategic need was to unify the continent quickly enough to prepare for alien races outside Ark Planet 559 560.

Successive submissions followed, including the Behemoth Empire, Devil Race, Kirin Race, Angel Race, and Dragon Race. The Witch Tribe’s eventual surrender completed the unification of the Barbaric Continent 574 578.

The kingdom then publicly revealed the races’ shared Cosmic Human Race ancestry and Lin Feng’s identity as the new administrator. Later activities included constructing settlements on outpost planets; by the time Lin Feng became “Lord of Stars,” the faction had developed into the Empire of Stars 578 585 671.
