Background
Kakqi was once the Prefect of the Life God Realm, where his profound Life Law attainments made him especially adept with souls. He voluntarily relinquished the position and disappeared for billions of years, causing some to believe that he had fallen. During this period, he concealed the existence of his Destruction Divine Clone from even close associates. 7 12
Hundreds of thousands of years before his reappearance, Kakqi's main body and Destruction Clone were caught in another battle and fell unconscious. Rather than perishing, they underwent a rare three-element soul mutation involving Life, Water, and Destruction. His other two clones gradually assimilated the mutation, granting all three access to fused divine power. 12
He returned to prominence in Hell while seeking a battle with Red Maple Prefecture's Prefect, Quinsang. His broader objective was to attract a Sovereign God's attention without prematurely exposing his full strength. 7 8 12
Personality
Kakqi actively seeks strong opponents and treats battle as both a test and a path to further growth. He approached Lota and Pash intending to challenge them, planned to fight Quinsang without seeking his office, and resolved to give everything against Morit after learning of Morit's standing. 7 8 9
Despite this confidence, he understands the Divine Plane's hierarchy. After discovering that Lota and Pash were Sovereign Gods, he immediately became formal and accepted the ordered spar with Morit rather than risk offending them. His reverence for Lota deepened after witnessing the Overlord confront the Four Divine Beast Sovereign Gods. 8 9 24
Kakqi is also secretive and methodical. He hid both his soul mutation and Destruction Clone for centuries, can alter his soul aura to evade detection, and withholds Lota's intentions even when negotiating with allies such as Reynalds. 12 37 38
Away from combat, he displays a more playful side, regularly playing chess with Morit and teasing Beirut after becoming acquainted with him. 76 88
Abilities & Skills
Three-Element Soul Mutation
Kakqi's defining ability is a successful mutation of his Life, Water, and Destruction divine clones.
- Produces dark-gray fused divine power from three perfectly integrated elements; its power is described as comparable to Sovereign Power among god-level experts. 12
- Enhances his soul attack, soul defense, material defense, cultivation, and the strength of all three divine clones. 12 16 36
- Gives him exceptional stamina in extended combat, as fused divine power is more sustainable than repeatedly consuming Sovereign Power. 12
- His powerful soul lets him conceal or alter his soul aura, making his identity difficult even for Peak Asuras to detect. 7 37 38
Life, Water, and Destruction Divine Clones
Each of Kakqi's three clones possesses comparable Peak Asura-level strength. 16
- Life Divine Clone — His strongest-known clone before his mutation was revealed; specializes in soul-related techniques and aura concealment. 7 9
- Water Divine Clone — Excels in material and soul defense. Its layered defenses endured Morit's attacks, and its wave shield can be formed from fused divine power. 9 10
- Destruction Divine Clone — Was long hidden because Kakqi considered its talent average; it became the source of his eventual soul mutation. 12
- His Water Clone can employ the Icy Sharpness Profound Mystery through a large tornado of frozen debris, though Morit judged the move better suited to group combat than a duel. 10
Soul Attacks
Kakqi's mutated soul and Life Law mastery make him a dangerous soul-combat specialist.
- Killed Moon God Elf Clan genius Okarowell with a soul attack in the God Tomb. 100
- His ultimate soul attack is difficult for opponents to withstand without a Soul Defense Sovereign Artifact. 100
- Lota considered Kakqi's soul attack and defense close to the god-level peak, while identifying material attack as his comparative weakness. 36
Cross-Law Fusion
Kakqi seeks to fuse different laws and rules rather than only profundities from a single law.
- His battle with Aiken convinced him that cross-law fusion was necessary to surpass opponents armed with Sovereign Artifacts. 66
- He later achieved initial success in fusing exotic rules into a physical-combat technique. 76
- Continued progress in this field strengthened him further during later God Tomb battles. 96
Equipment
- Material Attack Sovereign Artifact — A dark-black spear bestowed by Lota to compensate for Kakqi's comparatively weaker material offense. 36
- Sovereign God Token — Granted by Lota alongside the spear; allows its holder to mobilize the Sovereign's army. 36
- Soul Defense Sovereign Artifact — Temporarily lent to Kakqi before his encounter with Beirut as protection against Beirut's Talent Divine Power. 76
- Long whip — Used by his Water Divine Clone during the spar against Morit. 9
Relationships
- Lota — Sovereign and master. Lota accepted Kakqi as an emissary after recognizing his potential, later granting him a Material Attack Sovereign Artifact and a Sovereign God Token. 11 36
- Morit — Fellow emissary and frequent partner. Their spar revealed Kakqi's soul mutation; they later coordinate operations, guard the God Tomb, and play chess together. 9 10 57 76 100
- Pash — Sovereign God who witnessed Kakqi's spar with Morit and praised the rarity of his three-element soul mutation. 9 12
- Quinsang — Initially Kakqi's intended opponent in Red Maple Prefecture. They later cooperate in matters involving Beirut and Calorona. 7 12 78
- Reynalds — Met Kakqi during the Burning Volcano Mountain Range crisis. Reynalds agreed to hold the Xue Na Family's position for a year after Kakqi identified himself as Lota's emissary. 38
- Aiken — Rival three-element soul-mutated expert. Their Tianji Mountain Range battle reached a stalemate and pushed Kakqi to pursue deeper cross-law fusion. 65 66
- Beirut and Calorona — Kakqi tested Beirut in the God Tomb, then escorted both to its deeper levels under Lota's arrangement. 77 79
Story Role / Major Arcs
Red Maple City and Emissary Appointment
Kakqi arrived in Red Maple City seeking a contest with Quinsang, but instead challenged Lota and Pash before recognizing them as Sovereign Gods. Ordered to spar with Morit, he revealed his fused divine power and eventually disclosed his three-element soul mutation. Lota then accepted him as an emissary. 8 10 11 12
Four Divine Beast Family Conflict
Acting for Lota, Kakqi confronted Four Divine Beast Family Elder Bert at Ice Snow Mountain. Bert's use of Wind Sovereign Power failed to intimidate him, but the clash drew the White Tiger Sovereign God's attention. Kakqi rejected Lius's offer to become his emissary, affirming his loyalty to Lota. 20 21 22
He later traveled through the Dark God Realm to investigate repeated battles between Fallen Angels and Four Divine Beast Family members. After finding the aftermath of one such battle, he killed the remaining Vermilion Bird Clan combatants and collected the Fallen Angels' corpses and Angel Hearts. 27 28
Burning Volcano Mountain Range
After receiving his Sovereign Artifact at Phantom Mountain, Kakqi joined Morit in monitoring the Burning Volcano Mountain Range crisis. He infiltrated the region by changing his soul aura and persuaded Reynalds to keep Xena's side in place for one year, without disclosing Lota's full plan. 36 37 38
Tianji Mountain Range
Kakqi pursued Spark and Mel alongside Morit and Quinsang, eventually confronting Aiken at Tianji Mountain Range. Though equipped with a Sovereign Artifact, Kakqi was pressured by Aiken's own artifact and combat power; the encounter became the catalyst for his pursuit of deeper cross-law fusion. 60 65 66
God Tomb
Kakqi became one of the God Tomb's upper-level gatekeepers, usually residing on the Fifteenth Layer alongside Morit. He tested Beirut after Beirut reached the Ninth Layer, then guided Beirut and Calorona toward the Eighteenth Layer as a reward arranged by Lota. 76 77 79
Later, Kakqi and Morit guarded the upper passage together, preventing challengers from advancing. Kakqi's soul attack killed Okarowell, reinforcing his reputation as a possible Grand Perfection-level threat among the God-level experts. 100
