Background / History
Kevin transferred from a European country to Senba Academy, where he became known as its handsome and athletically gifted “Prince.” He fell in love with Mei on his first day at the school, though her focus on study initially left his attempts to court her unanswered. During this period, he remained close to his best friend Su; the two discussed their interests and ideals, and attended Eden’s concerts together. 4 5
The Third Honkai Outbreak ended Kevin’s ordinary student life. Mei entered the Moth of the Fire as a scientist, while Kevin joined its fight as a soldier. By the Sixth Honkai Outbreak, he had become a formidable warrior, but his hesitation to kill a Herrscher who appeared human allowed a city to fall. The disaster became a lifelong regret and convinced him that he could never hesitate before a Herrscher again. 4 5 7
At the beginning of the Seventh Honkai Outbreak, Kevin volunteered for the Flame Chaser plan’s Hypermutation Surgery. The procedure transformed him into the first Ice Beast and gave him the power needed to kill Himiko, the Herrscher of Flames. Its cost was permanent: his body became cold enough to frostbite anyone nearby. 8 9 10
Kevin later received Aponia’s Law of Retribution to resist the Eighth Herrscher’s dream manipulation. During the Eleventh Honkai Outbreak, he mastered Jie Mie and used the opening created by Hua, Su, and Chijie to defeat the Herrscher of Constraint. The victory devastated civilization and reduced the Flame Chasers to thirteen, leaving Kevin burdened by the consequences of command. 11 12 21
After Sakura’s death and the destruction of humanity’s last cities, Kevin swore that humanity would defeat the Honkai regardless of the cost. Mei’s eventual death from Honkai Sickness broke him, but her final Overseer Project was intended to monitor him and prevent grief from turning him against civilization. Kevin then entered hibernation using the Fifth Divine Key, intending to continue the war in the next civilization. 24 28
He later becomes associated with the Stigmata Project, an extreme plan to preserve civilization through fusion with Honkai Energy. His role in the project makes him a controversial, villain-like figure despite his stated goal of saving humanity. 14
Appearance
Kevin is a handsome, pale- or silver-haired man whose youthful athleticism made him highly popular at Senba Academy. His usual reserved demeanor gives him an icy impression, intensified by the physical consequences of Hypermutation Surgery. 4 10 103

Personality
Kevin begins as a confident and sunny student, but is easily embarrassed when reminded of his awkward courtship of Mei or his old “Prince” nickname. He cares deeply for his friends and retains a strong emotional core beneath his severe exterior. 4 5 22
Repeated disasters force him into a colder, more uncompromising role. He refuses to comfort Su with empty words after the Eighth Honkai Outbreak, instead urging him to continue fighting so that sacrifices will not be wasted. His harshness is not indifference: Kevin’s frozen tears are presented as proof that his humanity endures. 12 22
Kevin calls himself selfish and admits uncertainty over what he is fighting for, but his actions consistently place humanity’s future above his own life. He refuses to reject his suffering, failures, or past, considering them inseparable from who he is. 20 104
