The Silver Dragon King Arrives

After the great battle, the entire Star Dou Great Forest fell silent. The Soul Beasts within the Five Elements Array had mostly fled after no longer sensing any Soul Power.

Bai Yu flew back on her sword.

Looking at the enormous crater and the great tree that seemed to have grown from a single pillar of earth, she was deeply shocked.

What kind of power was needed to cause such apocalyptic destruction?

Still, seeing her Second Junior Sister Mu Junwu standing quietly there, Bai Yu let out a breath of relief. She knew that Master must have won.

"Master, I'm back. Are you all right?"

Bai Yu called out as she approached.

The wooden door opened, and Bai Yuan walked out as though nothing had happened. Smiling, he said, "Of course I'm fine. What could possibly happen to me?"

Bai Yu leaped straight into Bai Yuan's arms.

Although seeing Mu Junwu had already convinced her that her Master had won, Bai Yu only truly relaxed when Bai Yuan appeared before her completely unharmed.

"Master, if something this dangerous happens again, just take us and run. There's no need to risk your life. You have no idea how worried I was watching from afar." Bai Yu hugged Bai Yuan tightly.

Bai Yuan patted her back and said softly, "What's there to worry about? I would never gamble with my life. If I weren't certain, I wouldn't do it."

Bai Yu nodded obediently and released him.

Before Bai Yu could continue chatting, Bai Yuan's expression suddenly changed slightly. "Bai Yu, go back first. Qiu'er misses you a little. I'm going to receive a guest."

Bai Yu froze for a moment, then nodded and walked inside. She shut the door behind her and disappeared from sight.

She knew Bai Yuan had run into trouble again, but she also knew that she was far too weak right now. Staying would only burden her Master.

Bai Yuan turned to look at a patch of space not far away.

There was nothing there, yet Bai Yuan looked as though he were facing off against a powerful enemy, his expression grim to the extreme.

"It seems you can sense every movement within this world. Can you tell me why?" A cool voice rang out, and an incomparably beautiful woman emerged from the space Bai Yuan had been watching.

Her silver-crystal hair cascaded down her back all the way to her ankles. Her skin was fair, and she had a pair of purple eyes.

They were extraordinarily gorgeous purple eyes, framed by long curled lashes, clear and translucent. Bai Yuan seemed to see the reflection of the entire world within them.

Even though she wore only a simple set of clothes, she radiated a beauty beyond description, as though no mortal words could possibly do justice to her peerless face.

Bai Yuan was dazed for a moment.

But he quickly came back to himself and said in a deep voice, "Silver Dragon King, are you here to take my disciple too?"

A trace of surprise flashed through the Silver Dragon King's purple eyes. Clearly, she had not expected the human before her to recognize her identity at a glance.

The Silver Dragon King regained her calm in an instant. "Didn't you tell Di Tian that if he wanted to take the Auspicious Beast away, only I could come?"

The expression on Bai Yuan's face stiffened for an instant.

At the time, he had already been seriously injured. He had merely wanted to put on a show, to make himself seem more confident and make Di Tian wary.

The Silver Dragon King showed no reaction. She merely studied Bai Yuan carefully for a while before saying, "You may be able to deceive Di Tian and deceive your disciple, but the injuries on your body cannot be hidden from my Spiritual Sense."

The smile vanished from Bai Yuan's face. Staring coldly at the Silver Dragon King's beautiful features, he said, "Then you can try. See whether I have any other methods left."

To the many Titled Douluo, Bai Yuan had left behind an impression of unfathomable depth.

If she made any unnecessary movement or crossed a certain boundary, Bai Yuan would have to strike decisively!

Otherwise, he would never have another chance to resist.

The Silver Dragon King had no choice but to stop. "Bai Yuan, I am also considered one of the masters of the Star Dou Great Forest. You have occupied my territory. I came to take a look and pay a visit while I was at it. Is that not allowed?"

The Silver Dragon King did not take the chance to launch a sneak attack. Her perfect, slender body merely became somewhat translucent.

The Silver Dragon King nodded lightly. "This is a tiny fragment of consciousness I projected here through my Spiritual Sense. My true body is still asleep. This projection of consciousness possesses, at most, the power of a Titled Douluo."

Bai Yuan finally relaxed completely. If the Silver Dragon King had come to fight, she could not possibly have sent only a projection of consciousness. Moreover, the Silver Dragon King had already figured him out.

After all, his failure to see through the consciousness projection for so long was enough to prove that Bai Yuan's true strength was not particularly great. What made him formidable were his many strange methods.

The Silver Dragon King parted her red lips. "My neighbor, will you not invite me inside to sit now?"

Bai Yuan hesitated for a moment before finally making an inviting gesture. "Silver Dragon King, please come in."

The Silver Dragon King unhurriedly walked toward the great tree. Bai Yuan walked beside her, following slowly.
