Background / History

Shu Yan was found in Star Luo City as an infant and raised in the Star Luo Welfare Institution. After awakening the Heavenly Snow Woman Martial Soul at age six, he received secret training from the Star Luo Empire. Xu Jiujiu and Emperor Xu Jiawei later helped investigate his origins, though those early efforts found nothing. 153

His birth family belonged to an ancient hidden lineage descended from legendary Deities. When Shu Yan was one, an Evil Soul Master ambush on the Heavenly Soul–Star Luo border separated him from his family's caravan.
