Xu Huo entered District 017 and found it collapsing under cannibalism, war, Alien attacks, and predatory Players as he searched for the source of the crisis. In Xiaoyue City, he became trapped in Bai Tiaoyi’s Spatial Maze and followed Bai Tiaoyi in hopes of finding a way out.

• Xu Huo used a competitive Dungeon to reach District 017, where he found a burning city and rescued survivors who directed him toward the military base at T6.
• Xu Huo infiltrated T6 and killed the Players holding its personnel and refugees, then learned that cannibalism, a spreading Alien horde, and war were devastating District 017.
• Xu Huo traveled to Dingtan City, rescued a trapped boy, and fought alongside a Black-Clad Player to hold back an Alien horde before pursuing clues to the attackers at A7 Safe Zone.
• Xu Huo reached A7 Safe Zone, fought the Players attacking it, and watched Lili and a woman in a black windbreaker battle a white-haired old man before the city’s destruction forced him to leave.
• Xu Huo warned District 017’s military that more Alien waves could come and concluded that evacuation offered the best chance of preserving the population.
• Xu Huo entered Xiaoyue City and learned from Wen Dachui and Tang Tiantian that Bai Tiaoyi’s Spatial Maze had trapped the city in mirror spaces.
• Xu Huo explored the maze, rescued three Players from Bai Tiaoyi’s blade, and learned that Paper Puppeteer, Lawrence Li, Meteor Star, and another Super Player were in District 017.
• Xu Huo followed Bai Tiaoyi through Xiaoyue City, saying he wanted to leave and believed Bai Tiaoyi was most likely to find a way out, while Bai Tiaoyi remained suspicious of him.

Xu Huo pursued the chip’s deciphering, survived the Suitcase Man’s Castle, and tried to protect District 017’s people as Aliens and invading Players overwhelmed the region. The arc ended with him evacuating residents in borrowed container artifacts and heading toward a concealed ship in Yuecheng.

• Xu Huo fought Bai Tiaoyi until Ms. Gong intervened, then learned her methods for using Space Rays and helped her battle Holy Sword Society Players.
• Xu Huo left Xiaoyue City, encountered the Paper Puppeteer, and agreed to escort Jin Zi to Meng Cun, who was deciphering an Intelligent Alien chip.
• Xu Huo brought Meng Cun and Jin Zi out of the AS9 Safe Zone, but Space Rays engulfed Dagang City and the Suitcase Man trapped him and other Players in his Castle.
• Xu Huo escaped the Castle as the Suitcase Man and Lawrence Li fought, then returned to the Capital Safe Zone to rescue Jin Zi’s family and send an encrypted warning to other Safe Zones.
• Xu Huo warned Jin Zi’s family about Alien viruses and helped arrange for children and other residents to leave, while Chang Bei and Xue Lang became embroiled in clashes with local Players.
• The Suitcase Man attacked Chang Bei, but Lawrence Li and the Paper Puppeteer disrupted his control barrier, and Xu Huo fled the burning Capital Safe Zone with his companions.
• Xu Huo borrowed two container artifacts from Bai Kou and began evacuating residents, then changed course toward a concealed ship in Yuecheng after learning it was taking people aboard.

Xu Huo fought to protect the infected and their families while resisting the government’s attempts to control him, then helped overturn the leadership at R1 Base. The crisis eased as the Special Defense Department changed hands, and Xu Huo prepared to move his family to Ting City while seeking a way to cultivate the antidote fungus.

• Xu Huo fought Dou Shengnan aboard the evacuation ship as Jin Feixue confronted the wounded White-Haired Player, then the Paper Puppeteer sent Xu Huo to an underground shelter.
• Xu Huo rescued ordinary people from the collapsing shelter and returned to Ting City, where he learned that the outbreak was spreading and that High-level Players were being tracked.
• Xu Huo treated Lü Yin with King Fungus solution, resisted an attempt to seize him, and negotiated with Shangguan Jing and Nie Xuan over the government’s response to the infected and the painted woman’s return.
• Xu Huo selected five fungus-friendly sites for cultivation tests, reunited with Gu Yu and Huang Junjie, and warned them against resisting the government’s restrictions on Player organizations.
• Xu Huo took control of the R1 Base meeting, restrained its Players, and worked with Nie Xuan and the painted woman to secure the base before the Special Defense Department team arrived.
• Xu Huo returned home, received Cong Yu’s D07-013 Choking Rainforest City Station Ticket, and chose Ting City as the city transferred to the painted woman.
• Xu Huo examined the A-class items Justice from Above and Unhesitating Substitute for the Deceased, then gave Lichun a combat robot and bought her a Gentleman of Light Medal.

Xu Huo traveled to District 013, investigated its deadly fungi, and joined Chi Xian in searching for Midsummer Night Star River. After entering the shifting Dungeon, Xu Huo gathered the remaining players to investigate its disappearances and test a way to keep sleepers safe.

• Xu Huo left home for the Station, where he met an injured woman and later teamed up with Chi Xian on the journey to Suffocating Rainforest Station.
• Xu Huo and Chi Xian explored Butterfly Bone Town, where Xu discovered King Fungus mycelium that could neutralize poisonous fungi and sent a sample to the Special Defense Department.
• Young Master Mo’s group massacred Butterfly Bone Town’s residents while searching for Midsummer Night Star River, and Chi Xian learned that the fungus was rumored to be in Stone Medicine City.
• Xu Huo and Chi Xian found a ruined city filled with human-shaped fungi, then traveled to Shiyao Island and entered the mist-covered Midsummer Night Star River Dungeon.
• Xu Huo investigated the Dungeon’s involuntary sleep and disappearances, fought Young Master Mo and Scarred Glasses, and found that sleeping Players vanished or were killed under unclear circumstances.
• Xu Huo gathered nearly fifty Players and questioned them about the Dungeon’s shifting spaces, drowsiness, and lack of reports reaching the outside.
• Most Players left, but Xu Huo, Chi Xian, Young Master Mo, Scarred Glasses, and several others stayed to investigate, with Xu proposing that one group sleep while another kept watch.
